This place has the most creative broth options such as pho, soondubu, curry, sichuan, and many more. Literally recreated pho with the pho broth since they have the noodles and veggies Their wagyu quality was insane, must try !! i also loved their soju cocktails, each one came with a a different popsicle. service was also rlly good!

I actually heard of this place through Instagram ads and me and my friend tried it for the first time! He got sukiyaki broth. I got tom yum but I didn't like it so they let me switch it out :) the pork bone was better. Also I spilled my WHOLE PLATE OF VEGETABLES ON MY SEAT but they were really nice about it. Service was amazing but I wasn't too keen on their broth. The salad bar is not bad either. Meat quality is not bad for ayce. I like the set up inside and it's really bright! Which I like. And parking is easy too.

I'm updating my 4-star review to a 5-star review for a few reasons. Every time I come here, I'm treated wonderfully by Alvin and the rest of the Avenue Shabu staff. They consistently tend to me, and never have I had a dull moment where I needed to flag down a server. To put it simply, every time I dine here, I feel truly valued as a guest. The food has also never let me down and is always high quality. I want to clarify why I originally posted a 4-star review: on my first visit, I ordered their Szechuan broth, which happened to be a bit too salty for my liking, making my meats and veggies overly salty as well. Since then, I've consistently ordered their spicy miso broth, which has the perfect flavor for me and always hits the spot! Following my recent visit, I knew I had to revise my review because this is definitely a 5-star establishment for me -- from the service, to the upscale ambiance, to the quality of the food. The fact that they are dog-friendly and also tend to my fur baby by offering her a water bowl is something I greatly appreciate. Overall, I highly recommend Avenue Shabu to anyone in need of a great dinner option. Support your local businesses!

I love AYCE shabu, even better when it comes with AYCE sushi! Although, I didn't try any of the sushi because I was too full from the shabu and there wasn't any at the time I wanted to grab it. So will be back to try the sushi next time. I came in on a Saturday right before the dinner rush. It looks like dinner rush starts at 6pm-ish. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty cold outside on the day I went, but the outdoor seating was enclosed so it wasn't cold at all. You can ask to try the broth before choosing the one you want. My favorite was the house tsuyu. The premium menu is worth it if you love wagyu! There's also a sauce bar and self serve rice. Very clean restaurant with a huge selection of seafood, veggies, noodles that you grab on your own. The staff are really good about making their rounds to take your order. Definitely will be back!

Wow, such a clean and well ventilated Shabu spot. Stopped by after watching a movie on Sunday and had a great time. They had a variety of soup choices and absolutely loved that you get your own pot, so you don't have to share (in case you have any allergies). They have the self serve area very well labeled and stocked up. Enjoyed the amount of sauces they have, especially since they give ideas on what to mix.

Came in at 8:30 pm, The host seats guests quickly, and service is fast and efficient. They have an (AYCE) lunch special available weekdays from 11 AM-3 PM, priced around $23.99 for regular and $27.99 for premium. Dinner runs about $32.99-$36.99 for premium, which includes sushi, one Wagyu plate, and bulgogi plates. We choose tom yum and Pho! it was delicious!! although the ribeye that was given to us towards the end tasted smell/odd. Overall, Fresh vegetables, great konjac spinach noodles, and friendly service made the overall experience pleasant. Owner/manager asked us if the self order new system was working well, and not going to lie. I enjoy it better. Will come back for another experience.

Good , fresh and fast service. Like it! Will come again! Good service! Good service!

Food: Everyone gets their own soup pot and bowl, which I love, and you can refill or even switch broths if you want. They start you off with a broth tasting so you can try a few before choosing. You can also control the heat level yourself with buttons at the table, so you are not stuck waiting for someone to adjust it. I got the sczechuan broth because I love spicy and this was perfect. It wasn't too spicy but had a good spicy kick. The premium option was nice. It includes the sushi bar plus extra meat options like ribeye and wagyu. Meats come out three at a time. The sushi was actually good quality and they also switch up the rolls pretty often, so there is usually something new to try. There are two sauce bars and also bottled sauces set up next to the sushi like white vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, and more, so you can customize everything exactly how you like it. Service: Service was great. The staff was always checking in, refilling water, clearing plates, and making sure we had what we needed. Super easy to get their attention and everyone was friendly and helpful the whole time. Even when it was busy, we never felt ignored. Ambiance: The place was busy with people waiting outside even though there are a lot of tables. The atmosphere feels lively but still chill at the same time. It is a fun spot without feeling too loud or stressful.

Craving hot pot on a rainy day and kept hearing great things about Avenue Shabu, so we finally gave it a try. Since it was raining, there was a wait, but it honestly wasn't bad at all. Service was excellent--staff were attentive and accommodating, especially when we requested help for our baby, which we really appreciated. Ambiance was modern and comfortable, great for a cozy hot pot meal. The sauce station could use some improvement though--sauce bowls were noticeably missing, which made it a bit inconvenient. There is a premium option that adds two wagyu beef choices and sushi, but we opted out. Honestly, once it's in the hot pot, wagyu and regular beef tasted pretty much the same to us, so the regular menu was more than enough. Where Avenue Shabu really shines is the buffet selection. Tons of great options: scallops, mussels, clams, fish, eggs, crawfish, multiple types of tofu, mushrooms, and a wide variety of vegetables. Soup base options were also solid, and you can mix and match. I got the tonkatsu broth and it was rich and delicious. My mom ordered the herbal broth, which tasted very clean and comforting, and my husband went with spicy miso and tonkatsu--every broth we tried was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a strong hot pot spot with great service, variety, and atmosphere. Minor tweaks could elevate the experience even more, but we'd definitely come back the next time a hot pot craving hits.

Food (5/5): Solid veggie, seafood, fishball, and carb options here comparable to shabuya and broth shabu-shabu. They had a few unique broths and sauces (hibachi, Thai chili) that I haven't seen in other places and broths weren't overly salty. It's also so rare for a place to have both the Chinese bbq satay/shacha sauce and the standard ponzu + goma sauces. I wish they had soft tofu and not just firm/frozen. You can sample a few broths before picking. Meat slices are thin but good quality, and they come with only 3-4 slices per plate. Service (5/5): multiple servers/bussers constantly roaming and immediately removing empty dishes and asking if you need more meat. We actually don't eat that much meat so maybe one suggestion is to implement a card system where if you want more meat, you can flip it to one side, and if you want to take a break, you can flip it to the other side. We're probably the minority, but I wonder if some people would find it tiresome to constantly say they don't want more meat and just want to eat vegetables lol. They accidentally overcharged us and we didn't notice until they came back to refund us and recharge us the correct amount. Hard to find a place that operates with such honesty and integrity. Ambiance (4.5/5): Modern and very clean and organized! Busy, but no wait. The only thing I didn't like is that the seating is aesthetic but not very comfortable for people with bad backs. Booths have the straight backs and the chairs are at a slight recline which is awkward when you need to lean forward to cook your food. Bathroom has a changing table. Several tables can handle larger groups since they also have seating outside. Decent amount of parking in Bella Terra.

Hubby and I came here on a Saturday night around 6pm. There was a wait, it was crowded, but not too bad. You can also add yourself on their waitlist on Yelp. We went for the premium dinner menu. It was delicious! I think this may be my new fav shabu spot! How it works: You order your chose of broth and the sliced meat with the server. Self serve your veggies, seafood, and sauces at the buffet station. They also have carb choices (e.g. rice, noodles, udon, ramen). Their veggies were really fresh and quality of meat was great! Service was great. The servers checked on us often and also refilled our broth. There is outdoor patio seating and it's covered. In terms of decor, layout and seating, restaurant was clean and there are tables for large parties.

I've been eyeing Avenue for a long time, and finally decided to try it out. Nothing beats a hot soup on a cold winter day. Upon arriving the hostess saw me checking in on their tablet, came to get me and seated me right away. YAY! After being seated we were greet by our waitress Michelle, she was nice and attentive. I also really appreciated that she we could sample the broths they had beforehand. I went with the Szechuan, a smooth bone broth with a spicy little kick. They had a lot of good options at the vegetable, seafood, noodle, and sauce bars. But because we went with the premium dinner package ($36.99), we unlocked what really sets them apart. They carry Waygu and a lot of other marble meats, DELICIOUS! I also really enjoyed that they had a little mini sushi bar and it was actually pretty good for not being a specialty sushi restaurant. I found myself going back for more! As we finished, a waitress named Jessica helped us and she was so friendly and bubbly. It was the end of her shift so she spent some time to converse with us. She helped us end the night just right. I had a good time at Avenue, and it's so good to know there's a Shabu spot so close to me. I will definitely be back.

This place I did not want to share review as I wanted to keep it as my secret place. They have variety of broths to choose from with the most fresh vegetables available. We got the premium lunch with sushi included. They didn't have a lot of selections for the rolls but OMG the quality was outstanding and it was sooooooo good. Meat was amazing as well. It's fairly new so you know the restaurant is super clean and spacious. I would definitely avoid weekends as it may get super crowded but best of all the servers were very and I mean VERY kind and customer oriented. I highly recommend for family or friend gatherings heck even a nice date spot! Too bad I wasn't able to take photos because I was so busy eating and then remembered.

We made a reservation for a Saturday night and were so excited and it really did not disappoint from start to finish. We got the puff bread with cultured butter with honey and furikake. OMG. I just... how can something so simply taste so delicious? Definitely a must try. We paired it with the salmon crudo and caprese with burrata. The salmon crudo was good, not blown away, but the caprese. Mmm! It came in a ponzu sauce and was this beautiful blend between Italian and Japanese flavors. So good. For our mains, my husband got the Seafood mafaldine and I opted for the Mala lamb pizza. This was such a unique pizza flavor, the hot honey sauce it came with tasted like a spicy, sweet curry and the pizza itself was delicious. Crispy crust, a little bit of cilantro for freshness. So good. To top it all off, we got the Blueberry pavlova and hazelnut cake. Both of these were incredibly indulgent and absolutely worth it. I think we were full for a whole day off this meal. To wash it down, I had the Highball with Suntory whiskey and a Calamansi Sidecar. I loved the assortment of Japanese whisky here, the cocktail menu was more tastefully curated than just trendy. On top of an excellent meal that I will be salivating over for a while, our server Danny was great! Super attentive, friendly, helpful and just a delight. Highly recommend!

The raichi drink was good and the miso carbonara was creamy and the proportion of bacon to pasta was perfect. It is super cute inside as well, but the service was kinda slow because they only had one server for all the tables. I think it's important to compare this to Ini ristorante because I think with this place being new that it is quite similar to Ini especially with the japanese italian fusion concept. I would say it is basically the same price if not more expensive than if you were to go to Ini and I personally think the food, ambiance and service is better at Ini than here. That said, the people were super nice in both places. You can tell it happens often. We went right as it opened, and we got seated right away. The menu is via a QRC on the table. We ordered 3 things - vongole pasta. Previously they offered it uni but this one had claims and shrimp. We also got the pesto and the calamari. Calamari was crispy but it also was slightly too salty and seemed to be a lot of batter. The calamari pieces were small. The pesto pasta was okay, but the pesto wasn't the traditional pesto. I couldn't put my finger on it but it must've been the dashi. The udon was cooked well though. Soft, definitely not al dente. This vongole was the biggest miss. It had a taste that we also couldn't figure out, but it was not enjoyable to eat. We left the meal very dissatisfied. The friend I went with, who has gone before, also agreed it was disappointing. As someone who hates to waste food, we were very close to leaving nearly half of each dish there. My friend ended up taking it back. Later that evening, we both were feeling off. Idk, perhaps it was a coincidence. In the end, it was a truly sad experience.
