Hot cheetos burger
Maheen K.

This is our maybe 5th or 6th time being at this location with them not having the original lebamex hot sauce. This being their signature sauce, its sad that we have this experience so many times. They had a bottle of the Carolina reaper one and the ketchup though. The not so good review had to do with having the above issue many times and the bathroom also not having soap. I had to ask the counter person and even then it seemed like they filled some liquid saop with a ton of water. It was diluted to the point where we had to dump 1/4 of it to even get a little bubble in. The food came out timely and was fresh but with the lack of their sauce, it was missing that spice. My chicken burrito was good but was I felt the rice and beans overpowered the chicken and with no lebamex sauce in sight, it just wasn't right. I am disappointed because going to the original Downey location never disappoints. I feel like the franchising was exciting to have multiple locations but the food never lives up to the original. Mainly because of the lack of their signature sauce.

Crunch Wrap Asada

I've been following Fatima's Grill for a while now on social media, so I was super excited to try their food when I came to Anaheim for my birthday. This location did not meet my expectations. I should have went to the Downey location. I was not impressed for my birthday lunch, and the hype is not at all what it should be for this location. As soon as we walked in there was a cook standing there at the counter talking to a friend, and they never said a word to us. They just stared at us awkwardly every once in a while. It was so uncomfortable. Once the woman came out and helped us everything was better and she was really nice. The crunch wrap asada was actually pretty good with the hot Cheetos added. That was pleasant. The hot Cheetos balls were gross. They didn't have any of the toppings on top like they show on their Instagram. They were hard and hard to bite into, and the meat inside was dry. Super disappointing because I was looking forward to them the most. When I watched the videos on Instagram they looked soft, juicy, and delicious. I got the opposite experience. What I gathered from this experience is that it's really all social media hype and they give influencers free food to hype it all up, so that the peasants come in, spend money and don't get the same awesome experience. Do not fall for the social media hype like I did, or at least do not come to this location.

Definitely try their steak and shrimp burrito. On uber eats it's buy one get one free and oh so good! Try it! Food promptly served when I got there and ambiance is cool And trendy. Service nice. Definitely give it a try!

I ordered two items , chili relleno burrito and a falafel wrap. It took a few minutes to cook (which is nice, you know you are getting something freshly made!) The front window is what caught my eye , lots of pics ! The door sign is very welcoming !! I enjoyed the fun neon signs also !! When the server handed me my to go bag , it was very heavy for two items. I actually went back to counter to ask if maybe I had gotten someone else's order. Nope , the bag felt like it was 10 lbs !!!!! Big generous size burritos and wraps !!!!! It was very good !!! Both items were delicious!

Here at Fatima's Grill for the hot Cheetos balls, but to our disappointment they do not make them at this location. Ambience was very quiet as it was still early in the midday. Employee was nice and helpful. This location was very different from the other location we went to this one had more seating and their dining area and the restaurant looked very clean.

Hot cheetos burger

This place is good for someone who is craving mainly junk food late at night. The hot cheeto burger was so big I had to dissect it with a fork which isn't a bad problem to have. Unfortunately, the burger patty and fries are the ones you can find from the frozen section of the supermarket. It's one of those pucks with the grill marks that is already precooked. The bun was buttered well and tasted good but the patty I just couldn't get over. It tasted kind of like a sausage? But less flavorful. I would recommend they only put the cheetos maybe at the top and not both top and bottom because it was just too big and to add some lettuce to cut through all that oil from the cheese, meat, and butter. The meat patty on the other hand.... just make fresh ones... it was diabolical that I paid $20 for frozen fries, frozen Patty's and hot cheetos... all of these are literally pre-made. The fries with shrimp was good but man the fries again were those frozen kind that just had no flavor at all... maybe use thinner cut fries or season them? Not sure what can be done to save those. The wrap was quite good and tasted fresh. Food: 2/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 3/5 Overall: i wouldn't go back since I already tried it twice.

Chile Relleno Burrito

After seeing so many videos of their hot Cheeto birria balls I wanted to come over here and try it out. They didn't have anymore so I chose this burrito. The burrito was amazing. This place is like a Lebanese/Mexican American fusion type of restaurant.

Falafel Fries

I came with an appetite and the amount given here was more than fulfilling it was delicious and savory. The service was excellent and the staff were helpful. The place is roomy and can easily accommodate a good gathering with friends and family. I was happy with my purchase.

Spicy sauces

Fatima's Grill is located conveniently near Disneyland. Although it is zabiha halal we stuck with the seafood options. The shrimp tacos were delicious and perfecly seasoned. Grilled with no extra coating, just how I like them. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the fish tacos which tasted like they were overfried in old oil. The sauces that came with the tacos were pretty good and super spicy, just how I like them. The service was friendly and helpful although I did find it odd that they don't serve water and did not have any cups when requested.

Fatima's Grill is one of those places you hear about over and over--and for good reason. After finally trying it, I can confidently say this Lebanese-Mexican fusion spot lives up to the hype. I went for the Lebanese Burrito and the Carne Asada Crunchwrap, and wow. Both were dense, packed with flavor, and a perfect blend of the two cuisines. Every bite was a flavor explosion that made me want to try the whole menu. The service was just as impressive. The gentleman at the register was super helpful, patiently answering all my questions and guiding me through the ordering process. Fatima's Grill isn't just a meal; it's an experience. If you're curious about fusion done right, this is the spot to hit.

I stop by today and I ordered the kafta kabab plate and the place very clean and lima in the front desk was very nice and kind and give excellent customer service and the food was amazing . Thank you

I did see that the other pictures had drummies but I had all flats but I was a happy camper since I'm totally a flats girls. The wings were all naked wings with crispy skin and really tender and juicy inside. I really appreciated the sides of pickled daikon and Serrano peppers to go along with the wings. The little potatoes that came with the wings were a nice surprise and were decent. I also got a side of macaroni which was just okay. I wasn't sure if the ham were onions at first cause I tasted no hint of saltiness. My favorite sauce was the mango habanero which I dipped with the ranch. It was so good and even better than other local wing spots with the same flavors. I highly recommend coming for the wings!

I found the chicken to be good relative to all fried chicken, but average/ok in relation to KFC around the SoCal area. Furai Chicken-Irvine appeared on the 15 essential Korean restaurants in Eater for Orange County, so made a note of it if I was ever nearby any of their locations. So after picking up some great kimchi from the close-by Seoul Do Soon Yi, we stopped by for carry-out around lunchtime. It's a fast food set-up, ordering/paying first and then taking it back to your table or carrying it out. The two page menu consisted of chicken, sandwiches, and sides. They do offer alcohol, both draft and bottled. It was empty when I got in, but the ringing of the doorbell let the front-of-house to come to the front. The cashier was helpful, answering my questions. The meal was for three, so got a Half&Half ($31.98) with Original Furai Chicken (comes with one sauce) and Soy Garlic. Added an order of beer-battered fries ($5.98)...which turned out to be a decent amount of really thick sidewinder fries. It took about 20 minutes for the made-to-order to be prepared, and it was packaged so the steam could be released. KFC has 10 pieces for a whole bone-in chicken, which I prefer since the large breast piece gets broken into two. The original is meant to be dipped in the accompanying sweet/spicy, which I really liked: not hot at all but still maintained that sweet/spicy flavor of a good Jang. The soy-garlic was lightly sauced, maybe trying to maintain that crunchiness. But it certainly didn't have the crazy crunch that really good KFC has, even when not eaten right away. It also came with small ramekins of peppers and pickled radish (which strangely were a bit mushy). With the fries, it was enough for the three of us for lunch, but for me, nothing really stood out to make me want to choose it vs the many other choices for Asian-inspired fried chicken in my area.

The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.

Everything was well prepared and flavorful, just like I remembered. The portions are big, the kind where if you're not a huge eater you can easily turn one plate into two meals. Always appreciate that. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the place felt clean and well kept. It has that family-run feel, which adds to the experience. The only thing that's changed a bit over the years is the value. Prices are definitely higher than I remember, but honestly that seems to be the case everywhere these days. The generous portions help balance that out. Located in a strip mall in Westminster, it may not be flashy, but if you're looking for solid Mediterranean food, big servings, and friendly service, it still delivers. Glad I made the return visit. Definitely won't let it be so long next time.
