This taco truck is definitely under-appreciated. It's rare to find $1.50 tacos, especially at this quality (and only $1 on Taco Tuesdays) They don't skimp on the meat (but on Tuesdays I can't tell if the portions are smaller?), and their salsa/toppings are self-serve, so you're more than getting your money's worth. We always get asada and al pastor. Al pastor is very well-flavored, and with the pineapples, it's *chefs kiss* (they don't always add the pineapples so I make sure to ask. There's been a couple of times I've asked when placing a phone order and they've forgotten. The tacos are still great without it though) Personally I feel it's pretty comparable to Tacos el May (meat quality there is admittedly better) but you're still getting great tacos here for only half the price! We have been coming once a week/biweekly. You won't be disappointed :)

they have $1 tacos every tuesday! they put out limes, onions, and cilantro outside with sauce bottles for you to serve yourself, and the staff is very friendly. they are quick and can fix orders with no problem

Food: the al pastor tacos were pretty decent for their price. i wasn't mind blown or anything but it was good! loved adding lime and sauce to my tacos Service: Helpful and efficient Ambiance: When we went it wasn't too busy. A truck on the side of the road with people who come to order here and there

Third visit to this taco truck on a Tuesday in three weeks. The tacos are that good! I have tried tacos with several of the meats and these are my favorites in order Chicken, Al pastor, Carnitas, Asada, & Birria loaded with salsa verde Hubby has also tried buche, cabeza, and tripa ordered extra crispy but it was not all cooked that way anyways he said they were just ok Service was quick and friendly

Extremely difficult to find tacos that are still $1.50 in this day and age. All the meats we ordered (pollo, carne asada, and birria) were delicious and you can self-serve the sides such as the onions and sauces. Highly recommend. Service was nice and efficient.

The tacos here so are sooo good and so affordable, sometimes I go and get like 50 for my family :3 my favorite would be their Al pastor w pineapple! Idk if the stand is apart of the truck but I love the brisket from the stand because the flavors burst in my mouth and I appreciate the fattiness of the meat. Parking is easy, there's limited tables so we always eat in the back of the car trunk lol. Love this place!

El Toro De Oro is easily one of my favorite taco spots in town. I absolutely love their tacos, especially the tripas and cabeza. They are perfectly cooked every time and packed with flavor. The al pastor with pineapple is another must try. It is sweet, savory, and has just the right amount of char. Taco Tuesday here is amazing. One dollar tacos make it one of the best deals around. You cannot find this level of quality at that price anywhere else. And the chipotle sauce deserves its own shoutout. It is honestly addictive. I do not think I can go back to eating tacos without it. They are often overlooked because of the hype around Tacos El May, but do not sleep on El Toro De Oro. The food is incredible, the prices are great, and the flavors will keep you coming back. I highly recommend it.

I can't lie, my go-to taco spot is Tacos El May next to this truck but I wanted to try this one out. I got the Asada & Al Pastor Tacos! My favorite was definitely the pastor tacos because they were more flavorful and spicy compared to the asada. The asada was a bit more bland and could've used a bit more something. All the sauces and everything else you need is on the side of the truck! Definitely reasonable pricing. $1.50 for a taco is a steal for this quality. I'd give this place another chance and see its potential. Great service!

Carne Asada fries were bomb! Shoestring fries were used as the base which makes it easier eat!

Settled trying this place because our usual taco spot next to El Toro was closed when it's usually right there. Although the tacos weren't bad, it definitely wasn't what we wanted because it didn't satisfy our taco cravings the way we wanted it to. Lines were so long but we honestly felt like it was just extra crowded because we literally went to three other taco stands around the area and they were no where to be found/closed that day. Was really cheap at $1 a taco for Taco Tuesday though!

I love this taco truck. The food is amazing and the service is too. The staff is so sweet and nice and helpful. After tying them out once back in March '24 I have not stopped going. I loved their tacos so much I referred them to my work and we have catered with them 3 times now. Everyone at my work loved them. I work for a corporate setting company and we have a variety in people but everyone loves them. I asked one for plain chicken no seasoning for my pup and they made it ! Luckily they had some plain chicken! She loved it. My bf also loves the tacos and quesadillas. I took some for my mom too and she loved all the salsas an options. I told my brother in law about it and he had already tried them and said he loves this truck. 100% recommend this truck.

Stopped by on a tuesday, excited for taco tuesday, and man did this truck not disappoint. The tacos were only $1 and $1.5 for the more premium meats like lengua and cabeza. I truly believe you cant get better tacos for a dollar! The only taco i did not enjoy were their tripas since it was soggy and had a bad aftertaste. The service was great and they were all very aware on when to refill their free veggies and salsas. Line was long but goes by fairly quick. Ill be sure to return again to take advantage of their dollar tacos!

Whenever we're in the area and see the truck, there's always a crowd, and we always stop by to grab some food. They've never disappointed us. Their salsa is one of our favorite parts--it's flavorful with a good spicy kick. Our usual order: Carne Asada - 7/10 Tender, but a little on the dry side. Lengua - 8/10 Super tender and full of flavor. Al Pastor - 8/10 Well-seasoned with a nice char. Mulitas - 9/10 One of our favorites! Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Although the surrounding street is fairly quiet in the evening, it's an easy and convenient stop if you're craving authentic street tacos.

I think we waited like a good 15 mins+ after we got out quesabirria for our burrito to arrive. We got an al pastor burrito which was solid, but not as amazing as the quesabirria. I really appreciate the variety of sauces, and I believe they put on this one special sauce in a container that is REALLY spicy, but has like that Mexican candy flavor. My friend was able to snag one for us to try, but when I tried to get up to get one for my partner and I, I didn't see any left, so I assume they restock it periodically. Taquería Mexico: The Incredible Shrinking Taco…read more I remember when this place had lines out the door. Cinco de Mayo, I'm craving tacos, I show up expecting chaos. There's 3 people ahead of me. Jackpot, right? Wrong. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee. Sad, because I _want_ to support brick-and-mortar spots. But not when they're actively shrinking my dinner. Giving them 3 stars on Yelp because I was raised right. Real score: 4.8/10. The pics on their site are pure fiction from 2012. Don't believe me? I took a pic of the meat on my scale as evidence. CSI: Taco Division. Do better, Taquería Mexico. This is shameful.
