Earlier this month I was in the Little Saigon area (Westminster) of Orange County in Southern California on a Taco Tuesday with family and discovered this food truck in the ABC Grocery store shopping lot on the intersection of Magnolia and Bolsa. Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.
This taco truck is definitely under-appreciated. It's rare to find $1.50 tacos, especially at this quality (and only $1 on Taco Tuesdays) They don't skimp on the meat (but on Tuesdays I can't tell if the portions are smaller?), and their salsa/toppings are self-serve, so you're more than getting your money's worth. We always get asada and al pastor. Al pastor is very well-flavored, and with the pineapples, it's *chefs kiss* (they don't always add the pineapples so I make sure to ask. There's been a couple of times I've asked when placing a phone order and they've forgotten. The tacos are still great without it though) Personally I feel it's pretty comparable to Tacos el May (meat quality there is admittedly better) but you're still getting great tacos here for only half the price! We have been coming once a week/biweekly. You won't be disappointed :)

A truck on the side of the road with people who come to order here and there
Third visit to this taco truck on a Tuesday in three weeks. The tacos are that good! I have tried tacos with several of the meats and these are my favorites in order Chicken, Al pastor, Carnitas, Asada, & Birria loaded with salsa verde Hubby has also tried buche, cabeza, and tripa ordered extra crispy but it was not all cooked that way anyways he said they were just ok Service was quick and friendly
Extremely difficult to find tacos that are still $1.50 in this day and age. All the meats we ordered (pollo, carne asada, and birria) were delicious and you can self-serve the sides such as the onions and sauces. Highly recommend. Service was nice and efficient.
The tacos here so are sooo good and so affordable, sometimes I go and get like 50 for my family :3 my favorite would be their Al pastor w pineapple! Idk if the stand is apart of the truck but I love the brisket from the stand because the flavors burst in my mouth and I appreciate the fattiness of the meat. Parking is easy, there's limited tables so we always eat in the back of the car trunk lol. Love this place!

El Toro De Oro is easily one of my favorite taco spots in town. I absolutely love their tacos, especially the tripas and cabeza. They are perfectly cooked every time and packed with flavor. The al pastor with pineapple is another must try. It is sweet, savory, and has just the right amount of char. Taco Tuesday here is amazing. One dollar tacos make it one of the best deals around. You cannot find this level of quality at that price anywhere else. And the chipotle sauce deserves its own shoutout. It is honestly addictive. I do not think I can go back to eating tacos without it. They are often overlooked because of the hype around Tacos El May, but do not sleep on El Toro De Oro. The food is incredible, the prices are great, and the flavors will keep you coming back. I highly recommend it.
this has been my go-to taco truck for awhile now, and every time i try a new taco truck, i always find myself coming back here! i love how tender all the meats are no matter which ones you get. my personal favorite is the al pastor, but i've also tried the suadero, cabeza, and more and have never had a bad taco! i love coming here on THE weekly national holiday (taco tuesday) since the tacos are about $1-2 each and the horchata is about $4-5. speaking of the horchata, it's always made well and perfectly sweetened without being grainy at all! i appreciate how they put the onions and cilantro on for me bc i get skeptical of other people's hygiene sometimes if it's self serve, so this really eases my mind. the salsas are all self serve (they give you unlimited cups) and each of them are yummy in their own ways! some of them are actually super spicy too so i'm glad they deliver the heat !!! overall, el toro de oro stays as my favorite taco truck! read more

this place is my go to taco truck! taco tuesday price is unbeatable and the quality is amazing - i recently discovered their carne asada fries and i've been hooked ever since. they have great customer service as well! definitely worth the wait and will definitely come back for my taco fix! read more

I can't lie, my go-to taco spot is Tacos El May next to this truck but I wanted to try this one out. I got the Asada & Al Pastor Tacos! My favorite was definitely the pastor tacos because they were more flavorful and spicy compared to the asada. The asada was a bit more bland and could've used a bit more something. All the sauces and everything else you need is on the side of the truck! Definitely reasonable pricing. $1.50 for a taco is a steal for this quality. I'd give this place another chance and see its potential. Great service! read more

Settled trying this place because our usual taco spot next to El Toro was closed when it's usually right there. Although the tacos weren't bad, it definitely wasn't what we wanted because it didn't satisfy our taco cravings the way we wanted it to. Lines were so long but we honestly felt like it was just extra crowded because we literally went to three other taco stands around the area and they were no where to be found/closed that day. Was really cheap at $1 a taco for Taco Tuesday though! read more

I love this taco truck. The food is amazing and the service is too. The staff is so sweet and nice and helpful. After tying them out once back in March '24 I have not stopped going. I loved their tacos so much I referred them to my work and we have catered with them 3 times now. Everyone at my work loved them. I work for a corporate setting company and we have a variety in people but everyone loves them. I asked one for plain chicken no seasoning for my pup and they made it ! Luckily they had some plain chicken! She loved it. My bf also loves the tacos and quesadillas. I took some for my mom too and she loved all the salsas an options. I told my brother in law about it and he had already tried them and said he loves this truck. 100% recommend this truck. read more
Stopped by on a tuesday, excited for taco tuesday, and man did this truck not disappoint. The tacos were only $1 and $1.5 for the more premium meats like lengua and cabeza. I truly believe you cant get better tacos for a dollar! The only taco i did not enjoy were their tripas since it was soggy and had a bad aftertaste. The service was great and they were all very aware on when to refill their free veggies and salsas. Line was long but goes by fairly quick. Ill be sure to return again to take advantage of their dollar tacos! read more

Visited on a Tuesday it was quite busy. I got 4 tacos and it was a great price at only $1 each. I tried 2 Al pastor, 1 carnitas, and 1 asada. The Al pastor was too wet and sour for my taste. The asada was just okay and the carnitas was the best but a bit dry. Their salsa bar isn't that fresh because I grabbed radishes and it was sour as if it went bad. They have a lot of different salsas but none of them stood out to me. They have onions and peppers sautéed in some chili oil. Their workers are nice but a bit confused. They ran out of meats and soda drinks but still let people order it. read more

Adding another great taco place to our list! Highly recommend trying :) 5/5 Food Tacos were delicious - the tortillas weren't soggy and the meat quality was great. I really enjoyed my asada fries, and they were better than most asada fries I've tried in OC! 5 tacos, 3 asada and 2 pastor, and asada fries was $17.50. $1.50 per taco, $10 for asada fries! 5/5 Service Quick service, no line, and they accept credit cards! 5/5 Ambiance Salsas were in bottles on ice and the self serve onions/jalapeños were still hot! There was a table and some chairs if you choose to eat it there. Lots of parking since it's in the Bank of America parking lot read more
