Earlier this month I was in the Little Saigon area (Westminster) of Orange County in Southern California on a Taco Tuesday with family and discovered this food truck in the ABC Grocery store shopping lot on the intersection of Magnolia and Bolsa. Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials. read more

Honestly, this place is terrible. It doesn't come close to the superior Tacos El May right next door. I used to come here on Taco Tuesdays only because the tacos were $1 and the line at El May is always too long. I chose convenience over taste, but in the end, this place offers neither. On my last visit, I waited about 40 minutes for my tacos. I ordered six and only managed to eat three before realizing I had overpaid and that the $1 tacos weren't worth my time or the effort it took to chew them. I threw the remaining three straight into the trash. I genuinely chose to go hungry rather than finish them. The meat and tortillas were both bad, and the portion sizes were pitiful. I honestly don't recommend this place at all, especially when Tacos El May is literally right next door. read more

This taco truck is definitely under-appreciated. It's rare to find $1.50 tacos, especially at this quality (and only $1 on Taco Tuesdays) They don't skimp on the meat (but on Tuesdays I can't tell if the portions are smaller?), and their salsa/toppings are self-serve, so you're more than getting your money's worth. We always get asada and al pastor. Al pastor is very well-flavored, and with the pineapples, it's *chefs kiss* (they don't always add the pineapples so I make sure to ask. There's been a couple of times I've asked when placing a phone order and they've forgotten. The tacos are still great without it though) Personally I feel it's pretty comparable to Tacos el May (meat quality there is admittedly better) but you're still getting great tacos here for only half the price! El Toro De Oro is easily one of my favorite taco spots in town. I absolutely love their tacos, especially the tripas and cabeza. They are perfectly cooked every time and packed with flavor. The al pastor with pineapple is another must try. It is sweet, savory, and has just the right amount of char. Taco Tuesday here is amazing. One dollar tacos make it one of the best deals around. You cannot find this level of quality at that price anywhere else. And the chipotle sauce deserves its own shoutout. It is honestly addictive. I do not think I can go back to eating tacos without it. They are often overlooked because of the hype around Tacos El May, but do not sleep on El Toro De Oro. The food is incredible, the prices are great, and the flavors will keep you coming back. I can't lie, my go-to taco spot is Tacos El May next to this truck but I wanted to try this one out. I got the Asada & Al Pastor Tacos! My favorite was definitely the pastor tacos because they were more flavorful and spicy compared to the asada. The asada was a bit more bland and could've used a bit more something. All the sauces and everything else you need is on the side of the truck! Definitely reasonable pricing. $1.50 for a taco is a steal for this quality. This place is so great!! The owner is so friendly and inviting. I mistaken him for a customer at first but love his attitude. I ordered 4 carnita tacos, 2 al pastor, 2 asada, and a large horchata. It came out to be just $17. What a steal for $1.50 per taco! There are 4 other meat (I think Burria was one of them) that were $2 each. Either way, still great prices. Settled trying this place because our usual taco spot next to El Toro was closed when it's usually right there. Although the tacos weren't bad, it definitely wasn't what we wanted because it didn't satisfy our taco cravings the way we wanted it to. Lines were so long but we honestly felt like it was just extra crowded because we literally went to three other taco stands around the area and they were no where to be found/closed that day. I love this taco truck. The food is amazing and the service is too. The staff is so sweet and nice and helpful. After tying them out once back in March '24 I have not stopped going. I loved their tacos so much I referred them to my work and we have catered with them 3 times now. Everyone at my work loved them. I work for a corporate setting company and we have a variety in people but everyone loves them. I asked one for plain chicken no seasoning for my pup and they made it ! Luckily they had some plain chicken! She loved it. My bf also loves the tacos and quesadillas. I took some for my mom too and she loved all the salsas an options. I truly believe you cant get better tacos for a dollar! The only taco i did not enjoy were their tripas since it was soggy and had a bad aftertaste. Visited on a Tuesday it was quite busy. I got 4 tacos and it was a great price at only $1 each. I tried 2 Al pastor, 1 carnitas, and 1 asada. The Al pastor was too wet and sour for my taste. The asada was just okay and the carnitas was the best but a bit dry. Their salsa bar isn't that fresh because I grabbed radishes and it was sour as if it went bad. I tried this food truck for the first time and got a sampling of 4 different tacos--asada, chicharron, suadero and tripa. The suadero was the highlight and my mouth is still watering just thinking about it. It was juicy and flavorful. The tripas taco was good as well.
