Quite impressive, drove by here many many late nights or early evening and also saw at least a dozen folks here. Was in next door and had drinks so looking for some solid good late night foods. Went here and was behind 3 people but it move quite quickly. Typical taco food truck menu I would say but they do have 2 separate bars: one for the sauces and the other is for the veggies and they have plenty of it plus it well clean and well stocked up. Service is nice and friendly, not bad for waiting. Ordered a burrito ($11) with 1/2 marinated pork (which is quite good), and 1/2 with tongue (interesting, not bad but I wouldn't do it again for the burrito, for taco - yes) w/o cheese & bean - basically meats w/ rice and everything else. The portion is quite HUGE, 2 people can finish w/ that for sure. Overall, it was very tasty burrito w/ a lot of condiments, she even gave me grilled onions with it l, which are sweet & delish. Fast, hot, and spicy. I stumbled upon this truck by accident looking for another taco stand. Definitely not disappointed with my discovery. I will say the truck itself is placed at a pretty dark corner of the street with some transient people nearby. Just an observation, nothing to do with the food or service. The service was fast and everything went smoothly when ordering, this place takes card if you don't have any cash. I ordered 1 al pastor burrito, 3 lengue tacos, 1 pastor taco, 2 tripas, and 2 cabeza. The order took about 10 minutes to complete even though I was the only customer. The self service bar had everything you needed, 4 separate sauces, cilantro, onion, radish, cucumber, limes, and pickled onions, jalapenos, and habaneros. I took it to go to eat at home and after the 10 minute drive and walk into my apartment everything was still super hot and smelt amazing. The pastor is some of the best I've had in a while, super flavorful and juicy. The lengue was tender, the cabeza almost had a tallow flavor, and the tripas was crispy. All excellent choices in my book. The sauces were spicy, however, in a blind taste test I don't think I could distinguish between any of them. Visually they were distinct but the flavor profiles were all very similar. Still good salsas overall, but if you're a diehard verde vs roja kinda person there really wasn't a difference in my opinion. Definitely worth trying out, hard to stand out too much with the multitude of taco shops/trucks around, but a good choice overall. Al Pastor has to be the highlight of the meat choices. Also Tuesday they offer 1.50 on a select choice of meats. For 1 burrito and 8 tacos my order came out to a little over 33 with tax, good bang for your buck. read more

Today I decided to try something a little different than my usual spot which is, "Brothers Tacos" on beach as well. I want to start by saying that I'm annoyed that they messed up my order and I got skimped my three tacos. I ordered 10 for me and my wife to share and they only gave me 7 of them (and yes I know, I should've checked before I left but long day and I was hungry.) I live about 10-12 mins away but if you know the traffic on beach and could've picked it up , $2.50 tacos to drive back there wasn't worth and it I just took the loss. Solid, consistent, reliable taco truck located on a small side street off Beach Blvd. They serve it all, including the baked potato loaded with meat. Service is quick, tacos come out within minutes, takes a little longer for the papa but reasonable. The team inside the truck are all so friendly and sweet. And they take Apple Pay! Salsas and toppings are available. The only thing lacking would be small tables and chairs that some spots have but that's just something to keep in mind when you come. I always order 2-3 Al pastor tacos and then just add all the sauces and toppings they have which are all good and the spicy sauces are spicy but enjoyable to me. Came on a random cold night. And it got busy quickly. Service was standard and food was ready after a brief wait. All meats on our tacos were marinated well and had a nice crisp to them. Only thing missing was that most toppings were running out or running low. Most salsa's were tasty but all were spicy. Nowhere to sit, so we sat in our cars to enjoy our snack. I also got the alambre which is enough for two people, easily! There was a line when I got there and my food still came out pretty quickly and piping hot. This humble street taco stand is no joke! There are tons of meat option, all of them looking delicious on their own. I got myself a burrito with lengua and pastor with everything in it. I also asked to have some grilled onions inside, and that might have been the best decision I've ever made in my adult life if you don't know what to get, just get what I got I promise it's worth it!! There are excellent flavors they provide with their dishes. the business owners were also kind enough to let my brother and I sample the agua frescas options they had. Burrito with Asada and Tripas: The burrito my brother and I ordered hard Asada and Tripas. The Tripas was cooked so that it was nicely crunchy, but also tender as well. It made the burrito excellent tasting. (5/5) Alambre: the alambre was very flavored with and also spicy. This is a very junky dish (not a bad word). A lot of oil, but a lot of flavor as well. The carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! If you're a spicy fan like me, add some of their pico de gallo to your tacos with their salsa roja. Located on the corner of beach Blvd and 15th street. It can't get busy but the line goes by fast. They have different stations to order different types of meat and a diy salsa/sides bar. They have a variety of meats but the tacos are on the smaller side. If you are hungry and want to be full I would recommend ordering 6 tacos. The tacos are $2 each. My favorite meat would have to be the Al pastor it comes with a slice of pineapple. The chorizo was too oily and the carne asada was just okay. Salsa can be spicy so start of slow. read more

What makes a taco for me is the flavor of the meat, the texture. Nothing is a worse than chewy meat. What takes the cake at this stand are the toppings! The salsas had flavor and had a kick. My absolute favorite was the habanero, jalapeño, Serrano pickled onions. I could eat bags of them! I enjoyed the carnitas, pastor and chorizó. Al Pastor, I can't seem to remember much about it except it being flavorful and I really like how they sliced the pineapples thinly!! I prefer juicy meats so that's why carne asada and al pastor would be last! The sauces were also good too! Especially the avocado sauce! Similar to El Pollo Loco, but a bit spicier! I would give this place a better review, but the tortillas are too dry. The meats were bomb, but the tortillas then have a soft chew to them like most tortillas would have.
