    Pastor alambre (comes with tortillas)
    Aaron D.

This randomly showed up as a 'trending spot' and boyyyy I can see why! The food was absolutely amazing! I got two asada and two pastor tacos and it was done right! I also got the alambre which is enough for two people, easily! There was a line when I got there and my food still came out pretty quickly and piping hot. I highly recommend this place for tacos and more! I will be coming back for sure!

Went to this taco truck tonight. It was great. The service was standard and the wait was less than 3 minutes. There were many people here and it's a great price for what you get. The taco truck inside was very well cleaned and polished. The ambiance was amazing inside and set-up well! The condiments were low but I asked if she could refill them and she did instantly! The food was to go and it tasted amazing! Go an extra mile away from Chipotle and get these burritos and tacos instead! Better quality, seasoned, and priced.

***Location has changed*** The best late-night taco spot in OC!!! Their set up is amazing and what you expect and hope for when it comes to a pop up taco stand. Always clean and tidy! Their Mulitas and Tacos Con Queso are absolutely next level thanks to their freshly cooked meats and amazing salsas. The service is quick, super friendly, and always on point. I'll keep coming back as long as they are setting up!

I can't believe I have lived next to this place for six years and never visited it!! I was starving after the gym today and decided to visit them on a whim and I am so glad I did!! This humble street taco stand is no joke! There are tons of meat option, all of them looking delicious on their own. I got myself a burrito with lengua and pastor with everything in it. I also asked to have some grilled onions inside, and that might have been the best decision I've ever made in my adult life if you don't know what to get, just get what I got I promise it's worth it!! Besides the great food, the workers there are also super friendly. They also take Apple Pay, which is great. My burrito cost $12 and it's totally worth it. ‍‍

Burrito with asada and tripas (cut in half)

Eating here was very surprising. There are excellent flavors they provide with their dishes. the business owners were also kind enough to let my brother and I sample the agua frescas options they had. Burrito with Asada and Tripas: The burrito my brother and I ordered hard Asada and Tripas. The Tripas was cooked so that it was nicely crunchy, but also tender as well. It made the burrito excellent tasting. (5/5) Alambre: the alambre was very flavored with and also spicy. This is a very junky dish (not a bad word). A lot of oil, but a lot of flavor as well. I found myself feeling very filled by this dish. It is definitely an experience. (4/5) Agua de Piña: this tasted very refreshing and hit the spot. (5/5)

First station is to order Al pastor tacos

Located on the corner of beach Blvd and 15th street. It can't get busy but the line goes by fast. They have different stations to order different types of meat and a diy salsa/sides bar. They have a variety of meats but the tacos are on the smaller side. If you are hungry and want to be full I would recommend ordering 6 tacos. The tacos are $2 each. My favorite meat would have to be the Al pastor it comes with a slice of pineapple. The chorizo was too oily and the carne asada was just okay. Salsa can be spicy so start of slow.

Any's Tacos is located on Beach Blvd (by the court house 15th street) I stopped by for the first time and tried the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada tacos. The tacos are $2 each, which is a fair price point. Both were delicious! I would come back to try the other meats! The toppings, veggies & salsas are self serve. Honorable Mentions: -Plenty of parking -Bring chairs/tables if you plan on eating there (I saw a lot of ppl in the parking lot doing this) -Cash only

A lovely find! I don't live in the area but my job took me out this way. I have been living in San Diego area, to find quality Tacos is a difficult task. What makes a taco for me is the flavor of the meat, the texture. Nothing is a worse than chewy meat. What takes the cake at this stand are the toppings! The salsas had flavor and had a kick. My absolute favorite was the habanero, jalapeño, Serrano pickled onions. I could eat bags of them! I enjoyed the carnitas, pastor and chorizó. I spent 3 nights at a hotel close by and I had tacos for dinner each night. Not as good as Puerto Vallarta Mexico, but extremely CLOSE.

I've been pretty meh on birria because I've had it at other places before and I've always thought it was fine. Not bad, just not amazing. This place does it so well!! Get the quesabirria you will not regret it! It is super flavorful and crispy! Food can take a while to come out. I think we waited like a good 15 mins+ after we got out quesabirria for our burrito to arrive. We got an al pastor burrito which was solid, but not as amazing as the quesabirria. I really appreciate the variety of sauces, and I believe they put on this one special sauce in a container that is REALLY spicy, but has like that Mexican candy flavor. My friend was able to snag one for us to try, but when I tried to get up to get one for my partner and I, I didn't see any left, so I assume they restock it periodically. Decent amount of parking just for the restaurant.

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

I used to come here on Taco Tuesdays only because the tacos were $1 and the line at El May is always too long. I chose convenience over taste, but in the end, this place offers neither. On my last visit, I waited about 40 minutes for my tacos. I ordered six and only managed to eat three before realizing I had overpaid and that the $1 tacos weren't worth my time or the effort it took to chew them. I threw the remaining three straight into the trash. I genuinely chose to go hungry rather than finish them. The meat and tortillas were both bad, and the portion sizes were pitiful. I honestly don't recommend this place at all, especially when Tacos El May is literally right next door.

This one has been around for a long time and still draws a steady crowd. They used to be open twenty four hours, which was a huge perk, but even now it remains a go to choice for quick and flavorful tacos. I ordered their street tacos, which continue to be some of the best I have had in Orange County. They remind me of tacos I have eaten in Mexico. They are small in the perfect way, two or three bites and you are through the taco, which is exactly what a good street taco should be. The meat has a rich and savory flavor that stands out right away. The red sauce is bold and adds the right amount of heat without overpowering the rest of the taco. The staff here is consistently friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of the place. Service moves fast even when they are busy. Inside, the space has that classic street taco shop feel. It can get crowded, especially during peak times. The only thing I would like to see improved is a little more attention to cleaning the tables when the rush hits since you sometimes have to sit at a spot that was not wiped down yet. It is not a major issue but it is the only reason my rating is four stars instead of five. Overall, Taqueria Mexico is excellent and remains one of my favorite spots for authentic street style tacos. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a simple and flavorful meal that feels true to the roots of Mexican street food.

Taquería Mexico: The Incredible Shrinking Taco…read more I remember when this place had lines out the door. Cinco de Mayo, I'm craving tacos, I show up expecting chaos. There's 3 people ahead of me. Jackpot, right? Wrong. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee. Sad, because I _want_ to support brick-and-mortar spots. But not when they're actively shrinking my dinner. Giving them 3 stars on Yelp because I was raised right. Real score: 4.8/10. The pics on their site are pure fiction from 2012. Don't believe me? I took a pic of the meat on my scale as evidence. CSI: Taco Division. Do better, Taquería Mexico. This is shameful.
