We came to Urban skillet and knew what we all wanted. The order process was super easy but the time it took to get our order was insane. The place didn't have anyone else inside sitting but a person waiting for their togo order. We ordered at 5:33pm but didn't see our order hitting the grills until 6pm. I understand things take time, but not even starting an order for 30 minutes during Ramadan is ridiculous. Even the French fries weren't out (they were from a bag) We also saw there was a 20% off online but only got a 15% when we came to order. I had the oh so hot burger without pickles. The burger itself was pretty good but the wait time was obnoxious. The wings were dry. The skillet and urban fries were both good. I would recommend the skillet over the urban though. We received the kids burger at 6:20pm with our order of urban fries. Again I understand delays, but a 50 minute delay for burgers and fries is beyond belief. Overall our experience was severely hampered by their mismanagement of time. We had invited people over for iftar and when the kids are the last to be served food, its not good. I wouldn't recommend. read more

The Burger of my Dreams!! I got the Smac N' Cheese burger and my boyfriend got the Southern BBQ with bacon. I wanted 10 more but they're a beast of a burger since they're quarter pounders - so we shared fries and a milkshake too :) Fast service and it was a nice and casual dine-in experience. Would 1000% come here again and again!! Still dreaming of that burger I opted to get the vegan Urban house sauce on my Smac N' Cheese because usually I'm dairy free (I just couldn't resist this time). Had the Beyond Burger though in its description is stated an Impossible patty so not sure which meat it was...but it was still really damn good! Also got the fries with cheese and onions and they're ok. The fries themselves aren't the best but with the cheese and onions they come out pretty good. read more

My Smac-n-Cheese burger was scrumptious! I poured on some of their BBQ sauce and was good to go!! The Oh So Hot Burger was Muy Fuego$ The Parmesan Fries are a little too crispy for me. The burgers were served first. Then I was told that that the French frying machine was having problems. I typically like to eat my french fries with my burger. However, that didn't happen. The fries came out when I was down to my last bite of burger. The burgers are freaking delicious though! I was in the area and my son wanted to have a halal beef burger so I ended up coming here. I ordered a truffle banger , brisket sandwich and mac and cheese. The burger was really good, juicy and perfect amount of sauce . . The sandwich was okay . The mac and cheese well don't order that. It was bland and not good. The customer service was excellent. Yummmmmers!!! I got the OG dog with a side of jalapeños that they make in house. Wow this little doggie hit the spot. This reminds me of the street dogs that they sell on LA sidewalks that I have never been brave enough to try but they always smell good. It was saucy, salty, spicy, savory on a soft bun. Meat is halal and grass fed which is a bonus for those whose like hot dogs and burgers but want to eat cleaner options. Service was friendly and helpful. Tiny little place, perfect for a quick tasty bite! I will be back to try several items that looked delicious. I visited here recently as part of a grand opening and I gotta say they serve a mean burger here! Tell your friends, no, better! TAKE your friends! Even taking in a full restaurant's worth of orders + more, they cooked my burger perfectly!! I got the "Smac N Cheese" double patty burger it was delicious! And my friend got the Mac and cheese which was also great! As you can see below we both really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the location and will go back when I'm in the area. We ordered the double bacon cheeseburgers with onion rings, the hot dog with beef and cheese on top, and the 6 piece hot wings. The burger was perfectly cooked, the onion rings in the burger were super crispy, and delicious. The dog was high quality with a delicious cheese sauce topped with beef and onions. I ordered on their own website. They have an option of carry out or delivery, and I chose delivery. It was our first time trying it, so we didn't know they actually don't deliver despite what the website says. I called after I received an email that said it was delivered, but didn't receive anything. They told me it was ready for pick up and they don't deliver. My food had been ready for 20 mins, by the time I got home it was soggy. The cashier had told me he had let the owner know of the issue. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but this should be fixed ASAP. Especially since their employees would be taking the brunt of customer's frustrations for something out of their control. read more

First time coming to Urban Skillet Anaheim and it did not disappoint! I tried the Oh So Hot burger and it was absolutely delicious. My wife has a gluten allergy and we brought our own bun -- they were kind enough to toast it for her, which we really appreciated. Got home and they forgot half of my food. Like, not that they forgot to give it to me. They just did not make half of the things I ordered. Not a good first impression. I tried to phone the restaurant to let them know about the missing items. The number went directly to a personal voicemail. I ended up having to drive back to let them know about all of the missing items. Not much of an apology, they just let me know they put some extra sauce in the bag. Food was mediocre at best. The wings were terrible. They were borderline raw in the middle. We tried a variety of items, nothing I would consider good. Wouldn't recommend. read more

What an experience! I came in alone and ended up connecting with other customers--the atmosphere is a 10/10. First of all this place is pricey. I ordered the Truffle Fries and they were so salty I could not eat them. I asked the Indian cashier if I could get new fries that were less salty and he acted dumb about it, I continued to explain that the fries were overly salted and wanted new ones and he said he had to "ask". Once I got the new fries I apologized for the inconvenience even though he should've been the one to and he shrugged and had an upset face. He never apologized. The fries are also mid. Bad costumer service. Then I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was decent at first until i noticed the chicken was undercooked and I couldn't eat it anymore. I will not be returning. The service has been consistently very slow during my visits. This is not the first or second time I've experienced extended wait times on multiple occasions, I've waited over 25 minutes for my food, even when the restaurant was not busy. While the food itself is decent, the long delays significantly impact the overall experience. I was excited when I found out Urban Skillet had opened a location closer to my home/work. I've eaten at all the LA locations. I just ordered thru doordash and I was expecting decent, but they delivered amazing. I got the BBQ Burger and I don't think I can say enough good things about it. Either way, make sure you pair it with any of their 10+ beers on tap and you'll for sure enjoy every moment of that bite. I ordered their cheddar bratwurst topped with pickled jalapenos and carmelized onions in a pretzel bun. The wurst was kind of the dry side but beer always helps. I do think sometimes that they over cook it which drys out all the delicious fat out of the links but I am here for drinks and a good time. Great spot to hang out for any type of gathering.

Passable hot dog food truck place…read more Ordered from here during d23 Disney fan convention in Anaheim as they had the shortest line and they were flipping food quite quickly to satisfy customer demand. I got their pastrami dog and it naturally comes with grilled onions, pickles and mustard drizzle, but you can always ask to not have these things on. If you want extra or different toppings such as jalapenos, bacon bits, etc, it will be an extra fee. For a normal sized hot dog with a decent amount of pastrami (not too salty, thank goodness) with the toppings that already come with it and a diet Coke, it was around $20. Yes, I get that food trucks are sometimes pricier and being at an event increases that amount too, but for that cost and the taste. The value just doesn't add up. At this point, I might even try the bacon dog vendors out on the streets. It's alright, but there are definitely more appealing options out there.
