Build your own dog: dog, brisket, cheese sauce, fried onions, pico de gallo
Chris C.

Crafty Dawgs has to be the best concession stand in the upper deck at Angel Stadium (by section 420, replacing Panda Express, and there's also a version on the lower level. A far cry from your typical stadium dog, Crafty Dawgs starts with a superior, flavorful, snappy sausage and then you can either add pre-conceived topping combos, or choose your own. You can choose to add one protein - brisket, chili, bacon, or chicken - as well as three "lighter" toppings such as mac & cheese, guacamole, shredded cheese, kimchi, sour cream, french fries, etc. If you don't want a hot dog, you can order fries topped with this same assortment of toppings. Lines can get long as they make the dogs to order. I ordered a dog topped with brisket, cheese sauce, fried onions, and pico de gallo. Very good meal and very filling. I'll definitely be back.

The quality and options were fantastic. Turned a simple hotdog into something to look forward to every time I'm back at the stadium.

This hot dog cart is located along the lane of fast-casual food eateries at the Outlets at Orange…read more They offer several dog options and I chose the BBQ Dog: bacon wrapped dog with grilled onions and bbq sauce. It was among the best hot dogs I've ever had. I loved the rich bbq sauce and the perfectly grilled onions. The bun was fresh and the dog itself was great quality with excellent "snap". I'm a bit spazzy when it comes to eating and walking so wanted to sit for a moment to eat. The Outlets are notorious for having no outdoor seating so I just found a chair at one of the fast food places. It doesn't take long to eat a weenie so I was done before I could be chased away.

I believe it's a little truck in the food area and I am not sure if there's seating around, but I think not since it's giving a street dog vibe. My order was made so fast! I got the typical LA dog, which was wrapped in bacon and had grilled onions and bell peppers on top. I can't believe this was my first street dog EVER and that's when I realized what I was missing out all the time after concerts... It was SOOO good!!! I'm so glad I was feeling gluttonous and got an extra large glizzy because I ended up gobbling up the whole thing. This was exactly what I needed honestly. Yay hot dogs! The only minor thing that I didn't love is that I ordered "homemade chips" and they just gave me a small bag of Lays for $2.50. I didn't love that I payed that much for probably a 50 cent worth bag when I expected some nice homemade ones so they should definitely change that on the orders.

The hot dog itself was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bun was soft and fresh, which made every bite even better. The chili was really the standout--rich, hearty, and just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the dog. Everything came together so well. You can tell they put care into the quality of their food. It's a stand so you order at the window. You can take out or eat at one of the outdoor tables which is covered. They also serve Thrifty ice cream and milk shakes which I plan to try next time. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to when I'm craving a really good hot dog!

We stopped by on a Monday in the middle of the afternoon to give it a try. We had a Chicago Dog, a Chili Dog, plain fries and a vanilla ice cream cone. It seemed old school to order at the walk up window. The food was prepared while you waited. The person who took our order also prepared our food. (Tongs and other implements were used handling the food but some direct touching occurred. I would suggest the staff wear gloves.) The kitchen looked clean. Our food was ready quickly. I was told that the Chicago Dog was good. I had the Chili Dog with cheese. It was okay. The chili had good flavor. Based on prior reviews, I was expecting that signature snap when I bit into the dog. I was disappointed that it was not there. The vanilla ice cream was great. The fries were fresh and hot. This place is on a busy street so it can get rather loud sitting outside. It was touch windy and cold when we were there. The hot dog was not as epic as I expected. I was disappointed that the dog had no snap and just tasted just ok. I would come back and try something else from the menu. The shakes sound good.

Food is ordered up front and beer is in the back bar area. The beers are all German and Belgian which is a nice change from most places. They have many styles of sausages and you can top them with any of their toppings. There's even vegetarian sausages so no one is left out. Belgian fries cooked 3 times is their other specialty served with a bunch of sauce options. There's an outdoor patio area and the bar area inside where most of the seating is. It took me too long to visit here but I'll be back soon.

Their concept focused on gourmet sausages, Belgian and German beers, communal dining tables, and a relaxed social atmosphere. We came here with our group our friend and got to feast upon some dogs and wursts. One of the interesting features that have is that they carry exotic proteins such as alligators, rabbit, or rattlesnake in their links; but if you're more of a vanilla eater, than you're probably opt for the beef, pork or chicken flavored. Either way, make sure you pair it with any of their 10+ beers on tap and you'll for sure enjoy every moment of that bite. I ordered their cheddar bratwurst topped with pickled jalapenos and carmelized onions in a pretzel bun. The wurst was kind of the dry side but beer always helps. I do think sometimes that they over cook it which drys out all the delicious fat out of the links but I am here for drinks and a good time. Great spot to hang out for any type of gathering.

It was pretty easy to order on the app. When you're ready and get the place you just let them know that you're here on the app. With my past experiences with the order ahead on the mobile app, you get your food pretty quick, but not this time around. I waited quite a bit, around 25 mins. Not sure why, though. I just got the all beef plain dog and my husband got the bacon one. We both liked it. The hot dog was juicy and tasted good. The bread was soft and the fries were warm. It was suppose to be a nice quick meal between rides, but the quickness wasn't there. The food was pretty good. I would definitely come again.

It's one of those places we find ourselves coming back to again and again. One of the biggest things we love about this location is how well mobile ordering works here. We'll place our order, hop on a ride while the food is being made, and by the time we walk over, it's usually ready. We've never had to wait more than about 5 minutes for pickup, which is something we really value during a busy park day. The food itself is always delicious and satisfying, and we've honestly yet to try something on the menu that we didn't enjoy. It's a reliable option when you want something quick without sacrificing flavor or time. Overall, this is one of our go to stops in the park convenient, consistent, and always a great choice when you need a break and a good bite and it's also such a beautiful spot in the park! Another simple stop that turns into a satisfying little moment for us.
