Classic LA Style without condiments and the carne asada dog.
    Jennifer M.

The carne asada dog was really good but the classic LA style wasn't as great! And there's nowhere to sit to eat so we had to go and buy food at Rubios to be able to sit. Service is fine and there's no vibe to talk about in a cart without sitting available! But if you are craving it and don't want to brave the traffic in LA this will do.

LA Style Hotdogs is conveniently located at The Block. Food is great, and there are plenty of options. The service is excellent.

Even though I complained about the price in my initial review, I appreciate how it hasn't changed since then. I made sure to upgrade both hot dogs to the jumbo size for a $1 more and added a soda, which came out to a fair $20. The workers, the cashier and the cook, were both very kind and friendly. They tasted amazing as expected. Can't go wrong with some LA dogs when you're really hungry and want something yummy to fill your tummy.

    La Dog super good

It was a really good bacon dog with everything on it. Made it a jumbo dog for just .99¢ more. Definitely recommend!! 10/10

The service was pretty quick (5 mins for 2 hotdogs we love!), also it was awesome to get actuallll LA style hotdogs here in orange! It's right across from the Rubio's and in front of the Ecco in the Orange Outlets. A little hard to find but SO WORTH! No seating because it's a little side pop up but still plenty of other places to find seating close by!

    LA Dog was amazing!

Staff: Today I met Javier who was the chef for today's amazing hot dog. What a nice guy!! Quality/Quantity: I am not a hot dog person but this place may have converted me. I ordered the LA Dog and let me tell you this was delicious! All beef dog wrapped in bacon, grilled onions, grilled bell peppers, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. OMG good! Value: Fair Overall: Now found my go to spot for lunch when I come here.

    1. The hot dog was delicious with all the toppings! 2. The stand has fun casual vibes as it is located inside an outdoor shopping mall! 3. The staff was friendly and quick with my hotdog! It took 5 mins! 4. Parking for this mall to get to this stand can get packed on weekends and nights! Note: They accept credit cards and cash at this stand! Photo: Chips, Soda, LA Hotdog

This little hotdog stand in the middle of the outlets at orange were worth walking around in the heat looking for it! I got an asada hotdog and it was so good. I loved the bacon it was wrapped in and all the asada pulled on top. The guy was really nice and they were fair pricing. It is in the area with all the food right by the Ecco store. It's definitely a must try when you are shopping.

We visited this hotdog stand while shopping at The Outlets at Orange. The Service: The service was great! The vendor was very nice and whipped up a mean hot dog. The Food: We had the LA Style Dog. It was super good! Probably the best hotdog I've had. Overall, it was AMAZING! Definitely grab you a hotdog if you want a quick snack while you shop.

i just drove 30 minutes specifically for this place, it's currently 9:30 and they claim they are open till 10 but when i got here they say they are closed and the man wanted to try and give me attitude lol. never coming back lol

Crispy, juicy, and delicious. The sausage had a nice snap, and the grilled bun was perfect. Could use a little more sauce.

Definitely a must to try this hotdog cart out if you're shopping at The Block in OC. I got the LA Dog, which is the same as those dirty dogs you see in front of the nightclubs in DTLA. So friggin delicious. The price is great too!!!! I'm so glad this place is nearby so I can frequent it when I crave some dirty dogs.

    Lance S.

We were hungry after shopping and wanted something small to hold us over until dinner. This was the perfect place. The hotdogs were cooked perfectly with a crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. The toppings on the LA Dog perfectly complemented the hotdog and toasted bun. Definitely coming back to this place...and to top it off the owners were friendly and gracious.

I've rarely felt so faux important and so legitimately ordinary & unsung. An elite benchwarmer is closer to the truth. Told to sit out again & again by the Yelp algorithmic powers that be. Lorea? Waitlisted. Orange Hill? Waitlisted. Spaghettini? Waitlisted. Being an Elite All-Star helps a little, but is not being Elite already enough status? A definition: "often : superior in quality, rank, skill, etc. an elite performer, an elite athlete, an athlete with elite skills." I have been left out as an Elite All Star too. Perhaps I am the best of the benchwarmers. Could be I am not conventionally attractive enough, so other Yelpers do not want to like my reviews for halo effect type reasons. Could be I do not craaaaank out dozens of fluffy, clipped reviews for the sake of maintaining a perception. Could be my reviews just aint got that swing, baby. Who knows. Anyway, sometimes to cope with the rejection all face from to time, one must invent a new form of pain to distract from the brutal reality that awaits all of us. My choice form of suffering is The Twinkie flavored milkshake served at Wienerschnitzel. Unlike some events & occasions, & places meant only for the creme de la creame, Wienerschnitzel will always welcome me with open buns. I've never been told I cannot go or don't belong at a Wienerschnitzel. I chose the drive thru this time because I could not bear to seen by the staff. I feared they might sense I am one of the lesser Yelp Elites by sourpuss disposition. The drive thru lady was pretty chill on the intercom, & she took my milkshake order. The ambiance of the drive thru is Miami Vice sexy except that it does not look like a cool TV show scene or feel sexy. The staff took no time to make the dietarily heinous beverage. Shake in hand. I sipped to forget the agony of defeat. I closed my eyes, and I let the cold liquid chunks of Twinkie take the wheel. All those narcotic levels of sugar tainting my veins & arteries. A trash parade rolling through my circulatory roadways. I finished the shake in less than a mile of driving. Sometimes the only way to forget a terrible moment in the past is drive one's self through an even more frightening moment in the future. Thank you Wienerschnitzel for letting me roll by. Please don't let the posh & popular diners make you feel bad about yourself. No one serves addicting shake liquids quite like you, Der DoggySchnitzels.

Their bacon-wrapped hot dog and signature piñabero sauce were unforgettable. The meat was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Fast forward to a few years later: I was hosting another baby shower at a venue in Huntington Beach. Even though they didn't have a license to operate in the city--and their pricing was higher--I still really wanted them. I even offered to cover the cost of the business license so they could cater my event. But the day of the event was a total letdown. The staff arrived late and started cooking in foil trays, which immediately raised questions from my guests. I kept trying to hype them up, saying "just wait, this is the best I've ever had!"--but when the food came out, it was disappointing. Tacos and hot dogs were bland, and even the "signature" sauce couldn't save it. Guests were making comments like, "Taco Bell would've been better." To make matters worse, it was so embarrassing that my guests ended up filling up on the pizzas I had ordered for the kids. Since then, I've had friends and family recommend other taco caterers, which kind of stings given how much I once vouched for Mr. Hot Bunz. Really disappointed. I truly hope they can bring back the quality they once had, but I won't be using them again.

A nice gentleman told me he makes the best hotdogs around. I ignored two huge red flags: no people in line for these special dogs and the $19.00 price tag for a hotdog. I took the bait and ordered one. My only way to describe what I paid twenty hard earned dollars for is garbage. Cold bun, a lukewarm over cooked hotdog, wrapped in bacon, smoked to a crisp, stuffed with fries, cheese and sour cream. The hotdog was drier than a piece of beef jerky. Oh yeah, it was covered with dried out Korean beef on top. Again, dry and lukewarm. Tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was excellent as the guys kept making some great suggestions that didn't have the air of the same 'ole inane chitchat. I've been here a couple times over the years, so I can honestly say I'm always impressed by how clean it is. At least from my perspective during this visit, I saw very little wear and tear. Even the bathroom was spotless. I ordered the single burger meal, which I will confess, isn't cheap, but I do think it's a good burger. I watched them bag up the burger by placing it in the bag, the filling the French fry tray, placing it in the bag, then dumping in a bunch more fries. The guy who took my order was full of energy and super friendly and equally energetic when he handed my food. Now, with all those fries in the bag, you better expect the bag to be greasy, so if that's not your bag (pun intended) you might skip the fries, or you could ask for them in a separate bag. When they handed me my food, the text from CVS letting me know my prescription was ready came in. I couldn't have asked for more perfect timing as I was planning to take my order to go. I will also confess, I ended up throwing a lot of the fries away as it was just too much for me. But now that I know their game, I'll make sure to ask them not to overload my bag with fries. But that burger was yummy!! P.S. While I was waiting, I almost grabbed some peanuts. Something I've never done here before, but since I got the text from CVS, I got sidetracked and ended up leaving without some fresh peanuts.
