I ordered their Omelette trio at the attendant's suggestion and it was delish and a good portion of food. Three eggs, sausage, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham and cheese, with hash brown potatoes and toast. Breakfast is served all day and they have endless choices of other foods including shakes. Don't have a picture of my double cheese burger but she was a beauty. This place has all the markings of being one of the last greats from a time when you can get a great burger, perfectly prepared fries and all in your budget. The thing that makes this place so different from the rest is freshness, quality and prepared when you order it. It's my third visit here, and honestly, every time we're in the area, we make it a point to stop by for their burritos. I usually go for the carne asada burrito--it's consistently flavorful and satisfying. Service has always been great, and the ambiance is pretty casual, similar to a fast-food spot--nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a quick bite. Victory Diner is located off Main St and W Culver Ave in Orange within walking distance of CHOC - Orange and St. Joseph's Hospital. Looks like a WWII themed diner with a really cool model airplane hanging from the ceiling, model ship, and old warplane pictures on the upper sun room windows. They serve up a combo of American and mexican food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The diner's clean and the staff is friendly with smiles. You can order from a kiosk, at the counter, or drive-thru. They have a couple banks of soda fountains with Coke products and Pibb Xtra as well as a couple sets each of regular and decaf coffee. The breakfast burrito was good size and tasted good too. Didn't take very long for it to be made and was delivered right to my table. Looking at others food being delivered, the portion sizes seem to be on the medium to larger side, they don't skimp here. Lastly, my final observations, they still have covid glass still up between tables which I'm assuming are for germs and stuff, but they allowed a street vendor to go from table to table trying to sell stuff, putting her bag and merch on customers tables . Giving them a big shout out. We needed something open late after 2 AM. One of the few things you can find around and the menu that's crazy. You could order everything for breakfast to hotdog to burgers fries whatever your heart's feeling you can order. Guy took care of us even helped us customize our drinks. We thought the dining room was open, but it wasn't. So we walked around to the menu at the drive-through to look at it and he offered us to go ahead and walk on through instead of having to pull our car up. Grabbed a breakfast burrito with bacon. A friend of mine recommended that I give Victory Diner a try so I dropped by last Monday afternoon. 8/3/26. I like the variety of food that you can order. I decided on the wet burrito with carne asada and red sauce. Boy it was a huge burrito which came out to $12.50. It was really delicious and well put together. One of the best wet burritos I ever had. Service was good and there's plenty places to sit. They got tv's if you want to watch something while eating. 3 things about this place: reliable, friendly, and tasty! Everything I get is hot and fresh! Burgers are good and one thing not many people have highlighted is how affordable it is. A lot cheaper than a lot of burger spots. One gripe I have with this place I hope they address is their salsas for Mexican food l it's very watery and lacks flavor a good salsa would really make a lot of their Mexican food come together. The cashiers are always friendly, the prices are inexpensive, and the food is spectacular. Except, the pastrami sandwich could be a little less dry. BUT to each their own. The menu is a world tour. They have everything... That said, the employee that helped me out was very nice. The ambience of the space is like if an airplane museum meets Denny's. The bathrooms were mostly clean with some questionable stains on the ground and walls. I ordered the chicken taco plate without cheese. The portion size was large - I could not finish it. Chose to order at the drive thru. There were only 2 cars in front of me. Big big big mistake!!!! Apparently both cars had multiple orders. The drive thru should be limited to 1 order. Why wouldn't they pull the larger order and have them wait.y order was very simple. From the time I ordered until the time I received my food I had waited 29 minutes. There was no way for me to escape and get out of the line, I was blocked in. When I finally got to pay my order was already sitting, I just had to pay. I get home which it only took 3 minutes. I've eaten here before. The cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings and fried zucchini are really good. But today, I decided to try something different...the bbq bacon burger. It was just sad. It was so dry and void of juiciness, not even my soda could wash it down. I really did not pay attention when I ordered it. I assumed it would have more than a patty, bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce on it, but no. The bbq sauce was the only moisture in the entire thing, and that was sparse. I know you guys can do better. Some bbq ranch dressing and a nice slice of tomato would make a huge difference. Even some melty cheese or mayo would have helped. Horrible! I ordered a BLT, very simple sandwich! Waited 10 to 12 min in line at drive thru, 1st customer in line! (I don't mind waiting) but got the sandwich, bacon ice cold, zero flavor, bread was toasted but seemed not fresh, lettuce was the big end hard pieces! A complete disaster! They should be embarrassed! The unique thing about victory diner is it is in an airplane motif. Lots of pictures on the wall from world war II of old bomber planes and fighter planes as well as various heroic aviation pilots of that generation. They also have a huge fighter plane dangling from the ceiling so that's cool. I went with the gyro platter, which was massive and good. They bring you out a side salad which is big enough for two people. Tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese croutons okay all good. Then comes the platter with fries, some onion rings and then a hearty and delicious gyro. The onion rings have definite potential. I order my sandwich with half fries and half zucchinis, and let me just say, they are not stingy at all!! First of all, The girl at the counter is one of the most friendly, sweet and bubbly personalities you will ever meet- I didn't realize they would bring the food out to me until she gave me one of those little numbered stands to put on the table- When she gave me that, I asked her to add five bucks to the total for the tip- she told me they don't have that option- but that I shouldn't worry about it since I was already here- so sweet!
