Lettuce was wet & dripping all over. I've driven by this place for years. Thought I'd give it a try but I will NEVER go back

Disgusting! Soaking wet lettuce & tasted gross. I will NEVER come back. I've driven by this place for years & thought I'd give it a try. Gross!!

Service was good, very busy place and crowded. It took a while for us to find a table. But the lady cleaning was super nice and as soon as she found a bigger table to accommodate me and my two kids. She asked us to sit down. I don't remember her name but very nice person. The breakfast burritos were big, my breakfast sandwich with sausage was OK. I thought they used patties, but it was sliced up links with lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise. Not bad. I would definitely try something else. Next time I go.

This is delicious!

This is your basic independent Burger joint with a little bit more flair. They have all-day breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, Mexican food as well as dinner platters. The unique thing about victory diner is it is in an airplane motif. Lots of pictures on the wall from world war II of old bomber planes and fighter planes as well as various heroic aviation pilots of that generation. They also have a huge fighter plane dangling from the ceiling so that's cool. I went with the gyro platter, which was massive and good. They bring you out a side salad which is big enough for two people. Tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese croutons okay all good. Then comes the platter with fries, some onion rings and then a hearty and delicious gyro. The onion rings have definite potential. I think these had been sitting around so it had gotten a little soggy, but the crust was of the proper consistency. Good fries and delicious food. I will be back when I'm in the area.

Great variety on the menu and good quality on the food. Online ordering went smoothly but a bit hard to find on the website. Pickup was smooth and the food was hot and ready on time.

We got chicken tenders and fries, and clam chowder. I can definitely say they were delicious for their price but the fries threw me off . Nevertheless, I will be back for the clam chowder and tenders because it hit! The service was amazing and attentive but didn't see the inside as we ate in the car because it was a late night haha.

Super Duper Fantastic Monday!! Come and enjoy your Mexican breakfast with this Delicious special omelet with spinach cheese and red onions feast. No longer wait here at Victory Diner close to Saint Joseph Hospital in Beautiful Orange California. They have a wide assortment of American family favorites like pancakes too. They also have the Meat lovers special with Sausage eggs bacon and chorizo too. Everything is Delightful and full of flavor with good coffee and black tea. Have a wonderful day and enjoy here today. Well what a disappointment experience with this dinner. Got some food for me and my family order 3 items and they miss one. I guess no 8 dollar cheese burger for my mom. Then I call and let them know they forgot to add the cheese burger and instead of saying I'm sorry let me try to fix it some way. They just told me keep the recipe and bring it next time so we can give it to you. FYI no with no recipe they won't help. Last time I will come here.

I love this place!!! The grilled chicken sandwich SMACKS!!! I recommend that to any first-timers here. I order my sandwich with half fries and half zucchinis, and let me just say, they are not stingy at all!! Huge portions, and I like how if you ask for more ranch or yellow chilis, they don't charge you extra and give you as much as you want!! Other restaurants need to take notes!! The service was good, with one of the employees making sure everyone was enjoying their meals. I came around 11, and it was pretty packed, but there were plenty of seats, so I was able to find an empty table!! 5 STARS!!!!

The host was pleasant there are benches outside & shaded whips you wait . This little spot was packed which is great !! Once we got seated our waiters were extremely attentive and super friendly. I ordered their ice coffee which alright really basic not a wow fa tire but they'd steak & chimichuri sauce was delicious. Steak was cooked well versus medium like I requested but still te see , potatoes were tasty and flavorful & crispy . Overall , it's really good and nice ambience. I even ordered a few of their fresh baked treats to go like their croissant, banana nut muffin , blueberry & their chocolate coconut muffin. Only downfall is they have ONLY 1 bathroom .. for that amount of patrons is wild to me . Definitely having a secondary one would help . I legit waiting close to 20 mins + plus to wash my hands before I eat is ridiculous.. to the guy that was in the bathroom for a close to 30 mins like Dude.. you heals up the line for myself and 6 other ppl waiting so darn inconsiderate. Besides the bathroom .. situation I'd come here to dine in again and hit the coffee spot across the street Phil's coffee and get a honey haze it's amazing .

We ordered at the counter. The wait to order was short. The service staff were fast and efficient. We found a booth and waited for our order. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were okay. There was a water leak in the men's room that made the floor wet in one area. The restaurant was decorated nicely. It had a nice diner vibe. The noise level was okay, We ordered a Junior Burger, a Bacon Burger Combo and a side of French Fries. Our granddaughter requested the Hamburger Kid's Meal with Apple Juice. Our order was ready rather quickly. All the food came out hot. The Bacon Burger and Junior Burger tasted good. Both were flavorful and were well dressed. The buns were good. The fries were just okay. Not great but not bad. The granddaughter loved her meal. She ate over half of the hamburger (pretty good for her age). She ate all of her fries and part of mine. The portions on the Kid's meal were generous. The added bonus were the two lollipops that came with. This meal was in a kid friendly paper bag. The price was a bit up there but that's pretty much standard at most burger places.

The person before me placed an order for $415. I am next and told that it would be 30-40 minutes before I would be served. I asked, even for just a breakfast burrito? She confirmed with the kitchen that they would not be able to slot my simple breakfast burrito in before this gigantic order. Now, I get that you probably want to fulfill orders in the order they come in. I wouldn't really care if I had to wait 15 minutes if there were three families in front of me. But you let someone place an order for 20+ people that comes out to $400+ dollars and you can't find a way to slot in a breakfast burrito? You're going to turn away all business for 30-40 minutes because you can't have a kitchen work on multiple tickets at a time and get a small order out in the middle of a giant one? That's piss poor management and it's just downright disrespectful for people who might come after this giant order. I'll likely update my review in the future after I get more of their great fried zucchini and breakfast burritos as I go here quite often, but for now you have to stew in your 1-star for the horrible customer service and lack of proper kitchen management.

I liked that they offered flavored creamer for your coffee in addition to regular cream. And their coffee was good. Everyone was nice. We were greeted when we walked in and were seated right away. Our food came out pretty quickly. The first impression of our dishes was kind of a "hot mess". The food was just thrown onto the plate - especially my husband's. He had the Louisiana hot links with egg, hash browns and biscuits. I personally would suggest you ask for the biscuit and gravy on the side - otherwise it will just be at the bottom of your other food. I kinda like a little effort when it comes to presentation. But don't get me wrong, the food tasted good. I had the corned beef hash and eggs which was good - the hash looked to be made in-house. It was good - but to be honest, I actually prefer the old school corned beef hash from a can, that's toasted on the grill. And as for the vibe of the restaurant, it's not real homey. Kinda feels like a diner you would come across while on a road trip. This really isn't my style of a breakfast diner, but it's pretty popular- there were a lot of families enjoying themselves, so maybe give a try and see if it's for you.

You can tell they've been around for a long time in the best way. It has that classic deli feel with a mix of diner, café, and old school market vibes. Service was friendly and helpful, even during the lunch rush. We went around 1 PM on a Thursday, so it was definitely busy, but the wait felt expected and worth it. Portion wise, they do not hold back. You really get a bang for your buck here. The smoked fish platter was the highlight for me. I genuinely loved everything on it. It's perfect for sharing (or for leftovers ). It almost feels like a DIY bagel experience you get to mix and match different toppings and flavors, which I'm obsessed with. Also... I tried an egg bagel for the first time and it lowkey changed my life. They make their bagels in house and sell them by the half dozen but they do sell out. By the time we finished eating, they were already out, so if you want some to take home, grab them as soon as you walk in. The Benjie Special was solid super flavorful and packed with a generous amount of pastrami. It did lean a bit greasy for our taste, but that really just comes down to personal preference. They also offer a variety of cold deli items by the pound, which adds to that classic New York-style deli experience. Overall: A cozy, old school deli with generous portions, quality food, and that nostalgic mom and pop charm. Definitely a spot we'd come back to.

This diner experience, was something I was missing. Sitting down at a comfortable, soft cushion, seating booth, getting a cuppa coffee as well, having a waiter / waitress, asking if we need anything, tending to us. I missed that and that's why I'm giving this five stars. One could tell that there have been people here, for decades!
