Was craving for pastrami sandwich and drove by here and remembered that they do have a good sandwich. Came in the morning but they do have the menu for all day therefore got that and a fish sandwich combo since it was $10. Parking was easy since they do have their own parking lot plus they do have drive through too. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Clean, spacious and bright. It's an old building and you can see the aging but well kept. Staff are very nice, friendly. Menu is good with lots of options. And the prices are quite affordable too, especially for the portion of the sandwich. The pastrami was good as I remembered, hitted all the right spots, the fish is abit overly fried therefore it's dried. The sandwich is good with cold fresh veggies. Love it.

My mom told me about this spot. She for sure knew what she was talking about when she suggested that their breakfast burritos were yummy! I did go through drive thru as soon as they opened (6AM) and it was convenient for me. The place from where I was waiting in my car looked clean and organized. The woman who took my order was very nice. They speak English and Spanish here. I'm working on my Spanish so ordering in english was best. I ordered their bacon & egg burrito. It's so filling I had to save half. Their salsa tastes homemade and isn't too spicy, but there is flavor there. Maybe had to wait like about 8 minutes for my order. I'm definitely coming back.

The food here is delicious, fresh and hot! The service at this restaurant is consistent and always friendly!! The ambiance is relaxing, comfortable, with inside and outside sitting. Most importantly the customer service by all employees is excellent!! I've been coming here for the last two years so a review was past due for sure! Thanks

I finally got back to Omega Drive-in and I was not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient. And, most importantly, the food was quite good---the double patties were charbroiled, which allowed the cheese to meld into the beef patties as well as the hamburger bun. The establishment is indicative to fast food restaurants of the 70's; a throwback to my teenage years. Finally, I truly enjoyed everything about Omega Drive-in, so go for a drive or a neighborhood walk and enjoy the ambiance of a local eatery.

Came back to give it a second chance and the place was empty becuase of the Super Bowl. The workers happen to be watching it while working on a lap top by the driveway making cups so the customers wouldn't see it and screed up our order.

Best tasting chargrilled burger ever. I've been coming here 30 years, and that char on their grill makes all the difference. Fresh red ripe tomato and their bun and sauce makes you crave it. When I'm back in the OC, Omega is always on my list of must haves. I am glad they are still in business and it's because the consistency of quality and friendly service ain't changed in 30 years. Comfortable booths. plenty of condiments, and you can relax. Gettin down this huge burger and onions rings takes time at my age.

I read in another review for Apollo Burgers that Omega was better than them. This was my first time here at Omega. As I haven't tried Apollo just yet. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, large onion rings and a side of 1000 Island( my norm order for Mom&Pop burger joints. The drive thru wait was long and there was just one car in front of me. The girl who helped me was very nice. The food is okay. Onion rings were good but I told them no onion on my burger and I can taste onion even though I didn't see anything. Wonder if the lettuce got cross contaminated. Raw onions can have bad bacteria if not handled properly. Also the bacon was really hard. I don't think I will be back. Maybe will try Apollo and I will update this review.

Overpriced mediocre food. Don't understand how a large order of onion rings doesn't come with a side of ranch.

Initially, I walked…read moreinto the establishment thinking it was going to be another "fast food burger joint" but walked out craving another burger. The ambiance is minimalistic with a few tables along the wall and a long window table for solo eaters. However, the owner/cook are super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the signature and the double burger meal (w/ loaded fries). First off, the loaded fries is one of the best. It doesn't aesthetically look "all that," but it just HITS. The jalapeños and grilled onions balance out the cheese and bacon. As for the signature burger, the crispy cheese was a great complement to the perfectly seasoned patties. The texture of the cheese was just right: a nice balance of almost crispy but also gooey with a small cheese pull. Perfection. I haven't had a good smash burger in OC for a while, so this was a pleasant surprise. The establishment is located within a plaza, so parking can get a bit difficult when busy, but I came in on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of spaces available. I will definitely be back. A++!

I ordered their Signature Smash Burger meal, hoping it would showcase what the restaurant is known for. However, the burger did not resemble the menu photos. As shown in the attached pictures, the patties were very thin, overcooked, burnt, and dry. The burger lacked flavor and was far from the satisfying burger Smashburger advertises. The bun was also noticeably crushed and flattened, giving a careless presentation. While appearance isn't everything, it didn't help when the taste was equally disappointing. The overall dining experience was not much better. Only two of us dined in, with no other customers inside. Although several to-go orders were being prepared, our food still took longer than expected. The atmosphere was less enjoyable than I had hoped. Staff members were quite loud in the kitchen, and an employee sat next to our table, speaking loudly on a phone call for an extended period, making it hard to enjoy the meal. I'm sharing this feedback hoping management will address these issues. The meal did not reflect the quality I expect from a restaurant that prides itself on its food. For the price, customers deserve food and service that match the advertised quality.

I ordered their Topa Topa Burger, Okonami fries and a Dr Pepper to drink. We sat outside on the patio since it was a nice evening at the time. All our food came out pretty quickly and around the same time as we had ordered one after the other. My burger was delicious! All their burgers here are made from wagyu meat. Mine came with sliced avocado (pretty much half of an avocado) which was ripe, smooth and creamy. It also came with crunchy onion strings and their special Topa Topa sauce and of course some kewpie mayo and shredded cabbage. The cabbage was super crunchy and fresh. The buns were super soft and toasted perfectly. The fries were alright. The Okonamiyaki style was unique and the toppings were tasty. My Dr Pepper was a little too sweet, maybe it was more syrup than carbonated water. Overall the burgers here were great! I also got an order for my boyfriend later that night. Ordering to go was super easy. My boyfriend devoured his Spicy Miso burger. Service here was great as well. Would come back for the burgers!

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable. The Classic Burger arrives exactly how a smash burger should: wide, crispy-edged patties spilling over the bun, melty cheese, and mustardy House sauce dripping down our hands with every bite. What surprised us most was actually the sauce lineup. Most burger joints offer a couple of options and call it a day. Here, we've got buttermilk ranch, jalapeño ranch, chipotle mayo, white BBQ, Hammer sauce, and our fave: garlic toum. Creamy, garlicky, and addictive - we found ourselves dunking everything into it! The vibe is relaxed and lively, with plenty of TVs showing sports and a crowd that's there for good food and a good time. One thing to keep in mind: parking can be a bit of an adventure.
