Came for drive through order only (second time) and I must say, entering this parking lot was confusing! I think the roundabout around the drive through exit may have confused drivers who entered through the exit to then turn into drive through entrance. I am happy to say when I went, both lanes for ordering were quick to welcome and take my mobile order. They were really quick with other orders but since I had two meals and drinks I did have to wait near the curbside pick up. The staff brought everything within a minute and this one staff was super nice, she asked if I had everything before running off. They were probably busy, I noticed after ordering the two lanes got full pretty quick and curbside had cars waiting. I ate in the car, the fries were slightly undercooked (not crispy and limped) but still hot, but the McNuggets were crispy and hot. The drinks were filled just right, the iced coffee lid was a coffee lid instead of fountain drink lid so I'm not used to drinking it from a straw. Overall, good visit. Ordered a breakfast burrito and oatmeal through the mobile app and selected drive-thru pickup ahead of time to save minutes. Pulled up and the drive-thru line was completely dead--not moving at all for several minutes. Decided to just go inside and grab it quickly. Walked in, gave my mobile order code to the first employee (who was busy taking a curbside order). She casually told me wait a minute." Okay, fine. Stood there patiently. After waiting the full 5 minutes (and then some), another employee noticed and asks me what I am waiting for. The first employee explains to her that I'm there for a mobile order pickup. Instead of just scanning my code or handing me my food, the second employee immediately snaps that "mobile orders placed for drive-thru can ONLY be picked up through the drive-thru" and flat-out refused to help me or even look at my code. I'm standing there dumbfounded. So why in the world did the first employee tell me to wait inside instead of immediately saying "sorry, you have to go back to your car and go through drive-thru"? She wasted a solid 10 minutes of my time when she could have told me the policy right away. This is ridiculous customer service. Inconsistent information, zero willingness to help, and complete disregard for people's time. I was polite the entire time and still got treated like an inconvenience. Never again. Hey, times are tough. Need to save a few bucks here and there which is why I started stopping here for some breakfast on my way into work. I always place my order on the mobile app and then hop into the drive-thru lane when I arrive. The early morning crew here is a well oiled-machine. You just give them the code on the mobile app and the food will be ready shortly when you reach the pick-up window. I chose curbside pickup when I ordered my meal. About 5 minutes later, I arrived at the curbside, opened the app to choose my curb number, but the option wasn't available, so it told me to go the counter to pick up the food. I arrived at the counter, but the employees were confused and misunderstood saying I should've chosen a curbside number. I explained to them that the app didn't give me an option, and it told me to go to the counter instead. I felt embarrassed and unnecessary stress when they still didn't understand me. I did it through their mobile app I was shopping at the time I finished making my purchases headed to the restaurant I checked in in the Drive-Thru told the lady my code she told me to pull forward only to advise me that it's no longer breakfast hours. I kindly let her know that I had ordered it during breakfast hours she took the same number the drive-through code again from me and told me the same thing again that there is no breakfast food for me and I'm going to get the money that I just spent back in 2 to 3 business days. I don't know where on Earth people can do business like that take your money not provide you with the goods that you purchased and then hold on to your money for 2 to 3 days before they give it back. Stopped for a quick breakfast at this location at about 9:45 in the morning. The drive thru was very busy with cars going around the building. I decided to walk in and place my order. It was very busy inside the store as well. I was impressed by the hard working staff whose job it is to fulfill pick up, dine-in and drive thru orders. They delivered these orders as quickly as possible and managed to push them out as a team. At one point there was a line and minutes later it disappeared. I just wanted to give these team members a shout-out for a job well done. They obviously keep their customers happy and coming back daily. The large number of customers they service is proof of that. Today, I ordered on the app for curve side pick up, waited for 35 minutes, and the app says the order is complete when I never got my order - I go in and they say they never got the ticket - what a lie!! Stopped by this location a few times, the drive thru was relatively quick when I went today. Unfortunately they were out of the crocs toy for the happy meal and the random toy that they give isn't something that I really want. Food wise it was alright, the fries were a little limp and didn't taste the freshest. Overall, it's not a bad place to grab a quick bite. Fairly standard with other places. What's up: The guys and I were on our way down south for a quick trip around San Marcos and Vista. Before we hit our destination, we stopped here for some quick food and a break. Parking: Parking was plentiful and we didn't have any issues getting a spot. Environment: We wanted to order breakfast but as we were doing that on our McDonald's app, it said they were no longer serving breakfast, even though we still had 30 mins before it ended! When we got to the place, I didn't feel very comfortable. It was pretty messy out front in the patio area and it looked like there were several transients roaming around and sleeping under the tables. They didn't bother us, but it put us on high alert. To access the restrooms, you'll need to ask the staff to be buzzed in. When we asked about breakfast, the staff mentioned that they were not ready for Lunch so we could still order Breakfast items. The plus side was that the food came out quick. We were able to jump back on the road in no time. Indoor dining was blocked off but the patio area up front was open, as long as you don't mind some folks sleeping under the tables. What was ordered: - Hash Brown (crunchy and yummy) - Egg McMuffin (it was ok. A bit messy thrown together, but still good) Yay/Nay/Meh: Nay. Food overall was as you'd expect. It was really the environment that put me off. Oh, and we had to walk around to the other side of the building from where we parked because the door was locked. Today a guy on a bicycle was being served at the drive-thru. When asked if everyone can do the that, the response was "only him". (Preferential treatment). Earlier this year, the inside register person (older woman) refused to take my order and literally walked away into the back when I got to the register simply because I refused to buy into the mask drivel. I've had many bad experiences here, such as cash only in the drive thru with no sign before you get in line and long waits. I've been going here for 4 years now and the other night was the worst experience of McDonald's food in my life. I ordered via the app and picked up through the drive through. Fries were extremely greasy and overcooked. The large fry wasn't even filled to the top and napkins in bag were soaked in grease. Next, my Big Mac was falling out of the box and cold in the center.
