Cheese burger construction was very similar to a In-N-Out burger, whole sliced onions, tomato patties, cheese lettuce, all the standard accoutrements you would expect. Patties are fresh and seasoned well. Great construction, I felt it was superior to other fast food burger. I can't say it's better than In-N-Out yet as consistency will be a factor but certainly a tasty burger. Chicken sandwich was tenders as the protein and looked fresh with lettuce and tomatoes. Chili fries were great with shredded cheese and smothered. Chili flavor was good but lacked some spice that a standard chili has, maybe cumin. Still a good chili fry. As far as fast food burgers go, you really can't go wrong with this place for the quality and price point. I've only gone through the drive-thru, but it has always been quick and efficient. They do have inside seating if you want to eat there. Their Double Cheeseburger ($3.95) is a steal in this economy. It comes with two patties, lettuce, american cheese, tomato, sauce and I opt for grilled onions. It's a good sized burger although the lettuce was sparse on this recent visit. It's very similar to an In-N-Out burger but if I'm being honest, it's not quite as tasty. I've tried their French Fries ($3.95) and Sweet Potato Fries ($4.50). Both are decent but a little greasy. The sweet potato fries weren't crispy enough for my liking. They have a drink ($2.95) called the Blade which is lemonade and strawberry Fanta which is a genius combination. If burgers and fries aren't your thing, they also have salads, chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. Gave Nexx Burger another chance since my friends wanted to go for a late-night meal in the area, and wow, I was surprised at the difference in taste, value, and service! Maybe it was an off day when I first went last year. This time I actually ordered a burger - specifically, a double cheeseburger for $3.95 with a side of fries that was also $3.95. This was a pretty satisfying for under $9 total. The burger tasted so savory, and I couldn't pinpoint why. Whether it was the cheese, the patty juices, some secret sauce, or a combo of things, I was left with a full and happy stomach. The fries were decent, but I'm still not a huge fan of this style of fries (slightly coated and mildly seasoned). Even though it was near closing time, they didn't seem bothered by us coming in and didn't rush us, which was much appreciated. The lady who took our orders was chipper and helpful. Something I learned this time around was that not all sauces were free, so just keep that in mind when adding a condiment other than ketchup to your order. There were lots of available tables, and they were clean and spaced apart, avoiding the feeling of being cramped. I didn't see napkin dispensers, so I guess we'd have to ask the staff for more napkins if necessary. read more

2nd time having Nexx Burger but 1st time at this location. Walked inside to order instead of drive thru and the staff was really nice. The food didn't take too long to come out as everything's made fresh to order. They are very similar (if not better) than In-N-Out lol I can't believe I just said that but it's true! They have simple burgers and they are sooo cheap!!! Super cheap you can't believe how good their burgers are too!! They have their spread which is called super sauce and everything is same concept as In-N-Out except better with more options! Their buns are also wayyyy better and holds up well with all the sauces drenched on and not one of them got soggy. We drove back home 1.5 hours back to San Diego and they were still fluffy and not wet at all! They give whole raw onions inside the burgers too! I wonder if they do grilled onions too I'll have to ask next time. I also want to mention the price difference between a cheeseburger and double cheeseburger is only .35¢ so I suggest going big and just getting the double. You won't regret anything! They have a way bigger menu with different options of burgers and even a crispy chicken sandwich which my son got and said it was delicious and had a nice kick since he got spicy. They have chicken tenders that I was supposed to add onto my son's combo but forgot. They have a lot of sides such as onion rings, chili cheese fries, salads, sweet potato fries, etc. Their onion rings were nice and crispy. The chili cheese fries were good it wasn't salty. They also have tons of condiments basically the basics and their super sauce, ranch, spicy ketchup which was sooo good and was actually spicy and pepperoncinis that they don't charge extra for. It's been nearly impossible to find a simple but good vegan burger, I am happy to have found this place and called to double check if the buns were vegan. The angel on the other line whose name I didn't get was so helpful and went out of their way to check the ingredients for the buns and verified that they are vegan. The sweet potato was good and didn't need ketchup, the burger was packed with flavor from the onions, tomato, and sauce. I was very impressed. I was curious to finally try Nexx Burger after seeing a ton of ads on this place (they do a great job blasting their marketing everywhere). First of all, the overall customer experience was solid. The establishment is spacious with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Sizable parking lot, friendly staff, and quick service. No complaints there. Now, when it comes to the actual food quality, I thought this place was below average and underwhelming. I got the hamburger and it was very, very bland. No seasoning, no crunch on the lettuce, and bun was unnoticeably toasted. Just a very boring burger that the average American cook could have replicated at home. Honestly, it felt like wasted calories... It appears I'm not alone as I saw a number of other reviewers say the food is plain and bland. A classic case of photos not living up to the taste. In regards to price, yes, it is true the burgers are affordable and cheaper than In-n-Out, but their fries, shakes, etc are more expensive. The double cheeseburger is less than $4 and a regular hamburger is less than $3. But their "add-on" items are a pricier (ex. their chili cheese fries are $8.50 for a really small container serving -- definitely not entree size). It appears they make their margins on drinks/sides. We generally do takeout from Nexx Burger after taking Zoey to the Orange dog park--super convenient with a drive-thru that's much quicker than In-N-Out. Wow... wow... wow. What can I say about this place? Let me start with the burger. I ordered their Number 1, and honestly it reminded me of the kind of hamburgers you'd get back in elementary school in the 1980s--but in the worst way. The burger was disgusting. The meat tasted like it had been microwaved, then just thrown under a bun. It had no flavor and felt like it had been sitting there for a while. My wife ordered the Number 2, and unfortunately it was just as bad. The only decent thing we had there was the drink. The ambiance wasn't much better. The workers looked depressed and like they didn't want to be there. My wife and I came in with a positive attitude and tried to be respectful because we know customer service jobs can be tough. A lot of people treat workers poorly, and we didn't want to be those people. But the staff didn't seem interested in helping anyone. No smiles, no friendliness--it almost felt like it hurt them to talk to you. The service was just as disappointing as the food. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Go across the street and try Duke's or somewhere else. Don't waste your money here. And honestly, all the people giving this place four stars should be embarrassed--especially if they're employees leaving reviews for their own workplace. I have been meaning to try the infamous Nexx $3.75 double-cheeseburger and I was finally in the area so I stopped by. On a Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm, it was crazy busy. The whole time I was there, the drive-thru had a long line of cars and I got the last available spot in the parking lot. It's nice that they have an outside employee going car to car in the drive-thru to help speed up things. The restaurant is modern looking and is very clean. It was also pretty busy inside but there were a few tables still available. I just ordered the double-cheeseburger and was handed a vibrating pager to let me know when it was ready. About ten minutes later my burger was finally ready. The burger is about the same size as I&O, maybe a tiny bit bigger. It was a pretty filling burger, but honestly the meat didn't have a whole lot of flavor. About half way through the burger, I kept searching for any flavor from the meat but it was pretty bland.
