Ordered their fried chicken w/onion rings & fries, everything was way over fried. The chicken was very dry, onion rings were practically burnt to a crisp. Very disappointing. Ok- it's a diner- but still.. First of all, The girl at the counter is one of the most friendly, sweet and bubbly personalities you will ever meet- I didn't realize they would bring the food out to me until she gave me one of those little numbered stands to put on the table- When she gave me that, I asked her to add five bucks to the total for the tip- she told me they don't have that option- but that I shouldn't worry about it since I was already here- so sweet! Make sure to bring cash for the tip! Everyone here is awesome... They obviously know and appreciate their regulars too- which makes me want to become one! My wife found this spot when she had to be at CHOC hospital with our daughter due to her kidney issue. We normally go eat the DUI fries, which are the BOMB. The burgers are pretty good too along with the chili cheese fries and patty melt. The DUI fries come with either Pastrami or Carne Asada on the top or you can have them with both, and they don't skimp on the meat either, they are loaded. Not sure what's going on but my 2 year old son and I love getting the Trio burrito every morning and recently these past couple times that I've gone the hash brown has been burned constantly. I'm paying almost $10 for a burnt hash brown burrito. Not happy at all. So this last time I asked for light hash brown hopping they wouldn't burn it and sadly it's still burned. Just came here for the first time today and I had an amazing experience! The staff is super friendly, attentive, and speak both English and Spanish. Service is super quick. Victory is a classic. People are friendly. Wide selection to choose from. Prices are fantastic ($5-$15), especially these days. Quality is what you expect from a diner - not the best, but gets the job done! My favorites are the ham steak breakfast plate & the club sandwhich special. Cobb salad is a solid contender, good portion and still healthy if you're trying to eat light (no dressing needed). For what it is, would recommend giving Victory a try. read more

Very good food. Drive-thru might take a few minutes longer than a fast food chain. When ordering, just make you have your order read back to you. We had several visits with special extras like (add avacado, no tomates, or onions) and they didnt add and we get charged extra. Even when the order was read back to us, the request was ignored. We went at 11:30 on Saturday and it was pretty busy but the lady bussing the tables was really watching out for the incoming customers by letting them know where the open tables were. This place has so many food options and it's so convenient. They're open 24/7 every day except Mondays and they have a drive-thru. Some of my favorite things to order are the Cobb salad, tuna salad, club sandwich, tuna sandwich, chicken soup, zucchini fries, and carne asada nachos. Side note: I did not eat this all at once lol. I had a terrible experience a couple of days ago. Came in at around 8:30 and ordered a chili cheese omelette. Food finally arrived but instead of what I ordered the waitress brought something completely different. I pointed out to them and then the manager came to my table and asked me what was my original order. I told him the chili cheese omelette but the way he acted was as though I had ordered the wrong thing. I heard him talking to one of the cashiers and she went through the orders the other cashier who took my order put in and they realized she had correctly ordered the item I wanted. My food arrived a few minutes later but the waitress who brought my food had her finger on top of my omelette. When I pointed that out she acted as though I was being a jerk. Then said "my hands are clean". Needless to say I was very upset and asked for the manager. When I told him what had transpired he acted as though I was being a jerk. No wonder that waitress acts the way she does. The manager is an enabler. Not the first time I had issues with that waitress.
