Just came here for the first time today and I had an amazing experience! The staff is super friendly, attentive, and speak both English and Spanish. Service is super quick. The carne asada nachos and spaghetti we had were so good. The portions are big for a really good price! We didn't know the portions were gonna be so huge, we had to take home 3 boxes . I already made a review but I do want to rate the veggie burger which is why I'm getting on. Yelp. I go to almost every place which has veggie burgers in the City of Orange and ask if they have veggie burgers and if they do then I order it - and then I made a ranking to myself on a pad of paper. Recently, I went into an establishment call Bosscat, and the young lady there asked me if I did my ranking on yelp, and then that gave me the idea to start putting it here. The victory burger veggie burger here at victory diner I rank 8 out of 10. But to be honest, everything I get here has been exceptional. I used to go there every week. And in the first years I would get pancakes, but later I would get the veggie omelet and a veggie burger. I used to go across the street after ordering pancake to the carl's junior on Stewart and Main and get there veggie burger, but they have since discontinued it As for victory diner, everything is good here.I completely suggest and recommend victory diner. Very good food. Drive-thru might take a few minutes longer than a fast food chain. When ordering, just make you have your order read back to you. We had several visits with special extras like (add avacado, no tomates, or onions) and they didnt add and we get charged extra. Even when the order was read back to us, the request was ignored. We still love this place, but wish they respected there customers request. read more

So it was my first time coming into this place I've driven by here multiple times wanting to try it with my husband but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing as soon as we walked in we were taking our time to look through the menu unfortunately the little lady behind the register drinking her energy drink was very roof she reapplied to us asking if we were ready with a very rude attitude rolling her eyes at us as I responded to her to give us a minute very unprofessional so we ended up leaving we felt very unwelcome I think someone needs to teach her some manners cause honestly if I were a crazy person I would of said some very rude things to her in that moment but people like that aren't worth even waisting your energy on. read more

Our first time visiting. We went at 11:30 on Saturday and it was pretty busy but the lady bussing the tables was really watching out for the incoming customers by letting them know where the open tables were. Very friendly young lady took our order. We got a turkey burger / fries and double cheeseburger/ fries. The fries were golden and hot. PERFECT. My turkey burger lacked a lot of flavor/ seasoning but I ate the whole thing as I was really hungry so it wasn't bad :) Again, the fries and service were perfect. My wife found this spot when she had to be at CHOC hospital with our daughter due to her kidney issue. We normally go eat the DUI fries, which are the BOMB. The burgers are pretty good too along with the chili cheese fries and patty melt. The DUI fries come with either Pastrami or Carne Asada on the top or you can have them with both, and they don't skimp on the meat either, they are loaded. Victory is a classic. People are friendly. Wide selection to choose from. Prices are fantastic ($5-$15), especially these days. Quality is what you expect from a diner - not the best, but gets the job done! My favorites are the ham steak breakfast plate & the club sandwhich special. Cobb salad is a solid contender, good portion and still healthy if you're trying to eat light (no dressing needed). For what it is, would recommend giving Victory a try. read more

We waited a total of 34 minutes for the food to come (although to be fair, it was really crowded). The restaurant was pretty packed and noisy as a result. A little jug of milk and orange juice costs $4 each. The only enjoyable aspect of my breakfast was the 5 slices of bacon and fluffy pancakes. We would go here again if we had nowhere better to go and recommend others to come if they're looking for breakfast on the slightly cheaper end. read more

I ordered a double cheeseburger with raw onions but even though they only put a few chopped onions on it and I couldn't taste them but the burger was still fantastic. They need to put the onions on in whole sliced rings. My wife occasionally loves a plate of good ol fried chicken but you gotta wait 20 minutes for it cause they make it fresh which is good. The chicken was disappointing because it was cooked way to long so it was dry and hard inside. I needed a fork and knife which were nowhere to be found so i went to the window to get them and upon getting back to my table I noticed my fork and knife were slimy with wet food on them. Yuck! Pricing doesn't match the drive-thru menu (about an 11% increase for a burger). After receiving my total I called them out on it right away and was told, "yeah, they changed like a month ago..." it's also worth mention that an order of fries will cost you $4.75 but for $4.50 you get the same size fries and a drink! My drive-thru order sucked! The bun was hard as a rock and my fries were far from fresh. I was on my lunch break and had no time to replace it. Ordered bacon/egg/cheese sandwhich tonight for dinner on the way to a night shift. Confirmed multiple times with the guy in the drive thru it was only bacon, egg, and cheese as I'm allergic to tomato. Attached is what I got in the pic. I called back and requested a refund as I was about 20 minutes late after waiting 20 minutes+ for it in the drive thru. John answered and said I had to drive back to get a refund and drop off the sand-which in order to get a refund. HE WAS extremely rude and unprofessional. We usually like this place. Today our breakfast burritos included some eggs that were over easy. Very runny under cooked eggs. While some eggs were scrambled. Tortilla not warmed up and tasted a little raw. All the burritos were the same. If I go back I guess I need to clarify scrambled eggs and completely cooked and a tortilla that is warmed / cooked fully. They usually take a few minutes to make the food. But today the order came quick. I am probably wrong but I feel like the eggs that were over easy and raw may have been left over from a previous canceled order.
