Tajin rimmed michelada glasses

I don't know about you, but it's great to dine inside a restaurant again with loved ones. Ostioneria Bahia is the best place to reconnect with the world and celebrate as things open up again. Start off with a frosty mug filled with michelada (beer, lime, tomato juice, spices). Salud! Food: Mojarra al Mojo de Ajo: An entire perch is deep fried until it is dark brown. The flaky fish is firm with a crispy scored skin with a light garlic butter sauce. Camarones Marea (Rellenos): Tail-on shrimp, cheese, and bits of imitation crab are rolled up in a strip of crispy bacon. Pulpo al Mojo de Ajo: The octopus tentacle is cut into small coins that are soft and tender morsels lightly coated in garlic butter sauce. Each plate comes with fluffy buttery rice and beans, and a spicy, grilled, green chili pepper. Service: Everyone is so friendly. They bring out baskets of tostadas that you break up and dip in salsa or guacamole. Dining Area: Every other table is kept empty.

Boyfriend introduced me to this place because I was craving seafood and he wanted Mexican The food is phenomenal. The secret is in the sauce of the dishes. Even the beans, typically a bland and mediocre side, was so flavorful. I never thought beans could be so good!! The oysters were fine; however, I wish there was tobasco Staff was super friendly and pretty quick even though they're short staff. Definitely coming back

Arrived 30 min prior to closing ( I'm not usually that person, but cousin wanted ceviche) & pics looked good. I ordered the fajita mix with corn tortillas. Was a mix of chicken beef and shrimp very flavorful, came out of a hot skillet. My cousin ordered a plate with 2 tostada's, ceviche and some oysters. Portions from this place were huge! We couldn't eat it all. Oysters tasted funny and we're dark grey in color, sorta off putting. Ceviche was refreshing and came with saltaditas!! Tostada's were piled up with shrimp but unfortunately tostada's ended up soggy. I'd try it again though.

Check your food before you get it to-go.

I'm a regular customer at Bahia but lately I haven't been so happy when I get food to-go. Make sure you check your food before you take it home.

I went to eat here last night with a good friend. My friend is absolutely allergic to anything flour related so he ordered a few CORN tortilla offerings. However, he told me he had a case of a D this morning. We asked our waiter twice of his tacos were flour and he blatantly denied it was not. Other then that, my plate was decent.

Ask the Community - Ostioneria Bahia

Is this the right address to this original location? Keeps sending me to a random spot and it's not this restaurant. I'd like to try this place. We always go to #2 restaurant and love it!

It is at 4429 E. Chapman (corner of Hewes and Chapman in 7Eleven plaza. We like the food at this location and the staff are very nice. Has more of a neighborhood feel than the location at Chapman and Tustin Ave.

Is there live music on Sundays?

We were there on a Sunday, and although the restaurant was very popular and full of guests, there was no music.

Website? Possible to buy a gift card?

Probably not, it's a small mom and pop restaurant

We were a party of 10 and they offered to take our orders at the table instead of ordering at the counter. The server was also willing to do individual checks! That was really accommodating. There is a wide selection of menu items. It's been fun to try something different each time. My Short Rib Omelette was very tasty and flavorful. It was a good sized meal. I couldn't even finish it. My iced lavender latte was perfect. It hit the spot. A great place for brunch but make sure you come early. It gets crowded.

For the price, they give you a good amount of food. I got the egg scramble with ham and cheddar cheese. It came with toast (my husband picked sourdough for me) that was buttered and had a bit of jam on the side. It also had hash browns. The food was delicious and filling. My husband got a breakfast burrito in which he forgot sometimes he isn't a fan of them because they overload with potatoes, but he said he really enjoyed this one. Considering I'm also pregnant in my first trimester, I was so glad they had milk to help with my calcium intake. All in all, I would definitely come back here given the chance. (I'm from the Bay Area in Northern California so visiting regularly isn't quite feasible.)

Every time I go here, there's a crowd and I am not surprised, this is the go-to breakfast spot in the Orange area. However, despite the crowd, we always get in reasonably quickly. They are used to the crowds and have a great system of crowd management. If you come here after church on Sunday though, you may wait a few. I love their cali skillet, which I always order with no cheese (I'm lactose intolerant too) and they ALWAYS get it right.

It's a great spot for breakfast or brunch, and the staff made the visit even better with their attentive and friendly service. The food was fresh, hearty, and very tasty. I ordered their stuffed French toast, giant pancakes, and got the chicken fried steak and eggs for my husband. The pancakes were fluffy and huge and good. The chicken fried steak was a bit dry as it was overcooked. He was so hungry that I didn't have a chance to grab a photo before he inhaled his meal. At this place, the portions were generous so we both had lots of leftovers to take home. Only downside was our waiter. She was busy but kept forgetting to refill our coffee and water. In addition, I had to ask for clean silverware but the second set was also dirty. Had to wait for clean ones and by the time I got them my food wasn't hot and was warm instead. Parking was convenient since the restaurant has its own parking area along with additional nearby shopping center parking. Overall, Flappy Jack's in Orange is a great local breakfast spot with tasty comfort food, and large portions.

We got the coffee flight: Pistachio, Chocolate, & Horchata. Food was good but it lacked seasoning - i definitely had to add quite a bit of salt and hot sauce to enjoy it. I would probably go somewhere else if I wanted eggs Benedict. We ordered the Birria eggs Benedict and the chilaquiles.
