Pinchy & Pals is a new Instagrammable seafood shop perched up next AMC at the District in Tustin. They offer lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls, and seafood pastas and soups. The place is cute and service is decent. And let me tell you - the fries are so crisp and delicious. With that said, I may need to give this place one more try because my lobster roll tasted strongly of the sea. Not in an inedible way, but not in the freshest, juiciest and plumpest way I dreamed of when I read the other reviews. Besides that, the brioche bread was incredible. If they served that as a butter toast at a bakery, it'd be a treat! I just wish that for the price of over $25 after taxes there were a bit more of lobster to give it that beautiful plump bite that makes lobster rolls feel satisfying. It may be the proportion of knuckle meat (near the shell, almost tastes and looks like shrimp) was maybe too high in this roll compared to the claw and leg meat. With that said, their dipping sauce was also excellent (and had me almost down all my fries while trying to diet...yum!). All in all, I loved the carbs at Pinchy & Pals. I would give this another shot in case it was an off day given the raving feedback. Their pastas looks interesting too. And the store itself is very Instagrammable and cute!

This is a cute spot! It is on the small side but well decorated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got calamari as a starter and lobster rolls with a side of fries for our entree. Calamari- Flavorful breading and fried beautifully with a light crisp. The interior is chewy and soft. Lobster Roll- Served fresh with a generous amount of meat. The roll is fluffy and buttery. The mayo sauce has a nice brightness to it. Quite tasty overall! Fries- Hot and crisp with a delightful seasoning. Pairs perfectly with the lobster roll. Great experience overall!

The lobster roll sandwich was so delicious. It was such a cute and comfortable place. And Eva was so kind and friendly!

I got the lobster roll which was $25 pretax. The lobster was a bit chewy and overall the roll was just okay. It didn't blow my mind. It wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best. Also, it is expensive for what it is.

+ Scrumptious and elating ginger noodles & mahi taco. Flavorful bites throughout the entire meal. + Located in Tustin's beautiful District with ample free parking. + Good amount of outdoor seating amidst the District's beautiful water fountain. - Okay amount of indoor seating. + Soda machine with ice water. - A lil extortionate. I sure enjoyed the flavors through the sauces, but the qty of value protein for the price was a bit lacking. + Polite, helpful staff. - Too bad for my friend who loved the Sal's pizzeria taken over by this shop. + Peaceful ambience. I enjoyed: $23 L3. soy ginger noodles + $6 mahi mahi taco w/everything + tax = $31.25

Tried Pinchy & Pals in Tustin and was honestly impressed. The lobster roll was super fresh, and the bread was crisp and buttery, which made every bite really satisfying. You can taste the quality, especially with the melted butter and lemon on top. My favorite thing on the menu was easily the lobster grilled cheese dipped in lobster bisque and the soy ginger noodles come with shrimp, onions, sausage, and more! If you're craving lobster, they even have lobster pasta, and lobster tails by themselves. The staff was nice and gave me a couple options of their favorites too. They're also a few different things to do around this spot, so it's a good spot for a date or just hanging out. I'll definitely be back for their lobster roll and lobster grilled cheese melt! For a full video breakdown, I posted it on IG @ToshiEats

This place is officially a repeat visit for me. Ever since I tried their lobster roll last time, I had been thinking about it nonstop. The flavor was so consistent and fresh that I had to come back for another round. This time, besides ordering the lobster roll I had been craving, I noticed they had launched a new Taco on the menu. During weekdays, it's only $13 for 3, so of course I had to try it. And honestly, it did not disappoint. Lobster Roll I already loved it the first time, and it was just as good on my second visit. The bread was soft, and the lobster tasted fresh and flavorful. The overall taste wasn't too heavy, which makes it the kind of dish that looks simple but is surprisingly addictive. No wonder I came back just for this.

Finally checked @pinchyandpals off my weekend bucket list! This place has always been my "white moonlight" for lobster rolls in SoCal, and their new menu items totally lived up to the hype. No fluff, just straight-up good food and solid value. What we tried: Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl: A garlic lover's dream! 8 plump, juicy shrimp smothered in garlic butter. Squeeze some lemon, mix it with rice, and you're in heaven. Mahi Mahi Tacos: Super light and refreshing. Perfect for a summer lunch that won't weigh you down. Funnel Cake Fries: A total game changer! Traditional funnel cake flavor but in a snackable fry shape. That strawberry sauce? Chef's kiss. The Classics: * Lobster Roll (3oz): Always fresh, never frozen vibes. The bread is toasted to perfection. * Clam Chowder: Fun fact--it's bacon-free! Super creamy and packed with clams. Perfect for those who skip pork.

I was really craving a lobster roll and boy did they deliver. A little pricy but definitely left satisfied. The calamari was ok but that wasn't the reason I went out of my way. Will be back for sure.

Okay Pinchy, I like you. I'll be back soon. We got the Pinchy OG and the Shrimpy Sam and that was so delicious and so well-seasoned! I really love the Shrimpy Sam! Prices are normal for a seafood joint. Highly recommend!

This is a delicious and fast grab and go food spot! We tried several dishes to share, lobster roll, coconut shrimp, shrimp cheese seafood fries, and soy ginger noodles. The noodles were probably my least favorite, but the seafood items were excellent. The lobster roll was delicious and the loaded fries were really good. Food came out really fast, there are a few tables inside to eat and several outdoor spots right outside the restaurant. Definitely recommend this spot for a quick seafood meal

Service wad good. I ordered the lobsta roll and an order of just lobstaa tails. The staff was nice to let me know that with 2 orders, we can get a free upgrade. He was even nice enough to let me know that he can do half & half of the soup. So we chose half clam chowder and half lobster bisque. Prices were decent. I do prefer the original Connecticut style for my lobster roll. Like just the warm butter and lemon. They added some Cajun seasonings. I dunno if it was to help with the taste. I took a bite and noticed that the lobster wasn't that fresh. The Cajun made it taste a bit better. The lobster tails order came in 2. However, it was really small. The greens that we got wasn't that fresh. The fries were good. The soups were pretty salty. Also, it wasn't even hot. Overall, a nice place to grab some simple lobsters.

The ambiance is a bit quirky and moody, great setting for a special occasion. Interesting menu with lots of variety. We ordered the grilled cheese dumplings, yellowfin tuna poke, parmesan garlic fries, ribeye, and chilean sea bass. Two clear favorites: the grilled cheese dumplings are such a creative concept -- if you love tomato soup and grilled cheese, it's basically the perfect bite in dumpling form. And the chilean sea bass was really the star of the night -- beautifully seared so it's crispy on the outside but soft, juicy, and tender inside, and the couscous paired with it really well. The one thing I'd skip is the ribeye -- the texture and flavor just didn't deliver the way the other dishes did, especially at that price point.

Located in the Hmart plaza in Portola ~ between Culver Dr and Irvine Blvd, Blueberry Social takes up a decent-sized space, right smack in the middle of the plaza. It's one of those places where you walk up to the counter, order your food & go find a seat to have it delivered. Service is quick & efficient and the staff was friendly ~ providing food & drink recs, since everything looked good and it's hard to decide. The menu is American comfort food w/ a modern twist. The vibe is casual and I love the aesthetically pleasing decor (esp. the cute pinkish suede couches/bench tables inside) ~ it's quite contemporary & calming. The food? Super yums!
