A great new spot in Irvine for family meals and gatherings. The private dining room was comfortable, service was attentive, and there was plenty of parking, which is a huge plus. Beautiful! My mother-in-law remembered this place from when one of our best friends took her there..... great choice! The restaurant is where SW used to be until they shut down during Covid.... but the quality of the food, the service and ambiance erased the memories of 6 and more years ago. I happened to discover this newly opened restaurant. The dining area is spacious and bright, and the staff are very friendly. We ordered their daily specials: "Poached Chicken" and "Seafood Fried Rice," and each dish was only $9.90! Delicious and affordable ! We also ordered the "Baby Cabbage in Chicken Broth," which was especially flavorful--the cabbage even tasted like seafood. Great Chinese food spot! My favorites were the green beans, sweet and sour pork, and the honey walnut shrimp. The green beans were super flavorful with a nice bite to them. The sweet and sour pork was crunchy and sweet without being overly sweet, and I'd say it's pretty similar to orange chicken. The honey walnut shrimp was another standout. The shrimp were huge and had a really nice batter to them. Overall, all the dishes we ordered were solid. It is on the pricier side, though. We went on a Sunday night and ordered a couple of beers, which happened to be buy one get one free. I'm not sure if that deal is tied to a specific time or day, but our server mentioned it. Came here on a Monday night and was seated right away, which was nice. The inside is nicely decorated and chairs are comfy. They started us off with some complimentary pickled vegetables that were actually really good and a great little appetizer while we figured out our order. ofc we had to get the Peking duck. It did take the longest to come out. It comes with 10 wrappers, which felt like a good amount. After we finished the duck, my dad asked about the duck frame and they gave it to us for free, which was a nice surprise because the menu lists it as an extra charge. In this case, they didn't do any additional fancy preparation, just packed the frame into a to-go box. We also tried the smoked ribs, and honestly that was the only letdown. It was pretty pricey for just four pieces, and only some of them were tender, so it didn't really feel worth it. My dad said the snow pea tips tasted old lol but i thought they tasted good. Jiang Nan is a new family favorite for Chinese food in the Irvine area! They call themselves fusion but I find it to be quite authentic. The vibe is more modern than an old school Chinese restaurant. They can get pretty busy so reserve a table ahead of time if you have a large party. There are a ton of tables on both sides of the restaurant but they do tend to get quite busy, especially during Asian holidays. Some stand outs are the steamed whole fish and my personal favorite - fried tofu with seafood - which comes with a mini table side show! I also really love the fish maw chicken soup bc the kabocha squash makes it a little sweet and really creamy. The peach gum dessert is also delicious. I never had it before dining here and now we have to get it every time we visit! Perfectly not too sweet and the texture is really fun. The servers are really kind, patient, and truly want you to enjoy your meal. It can be a little slow during busy times. Jiang Nan took over the old Sam Woo in the plaza across from the Arbor. We came for dinner on a Friday night and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant is fairly spacious and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Service was decent throughout the meal. We ordered quite a few dishes to sample: Peking Duck (half), Duck Frame - Dual Option, Hand-Made Pork Soup Dumplings, Spicy Chicken Wontons, Stir-Fried String Beans, Dan Dan Noodles with Shredded Chicken (mild spicy), Deep-Fried Snapper with Pine Nuts in Sweet and Sour Sauce, and the Peach Gummy Dessert. The Peking duck was just okay -- while the skin was nicely crispy, the meat itself lacked flavor. The duck frame was well-seasoned but unfortunately had very little meat on it. Both the soup dumplings and spicy chicken wontons were disappointing. The dumpling wrappers were too thick with minimal soup inside, and the spicy chicken wontons were surprisingly bland. Our favorites of the night were the stir-fried string beans and the dan dan noodles -- both were packed with flavor and well-executed. The deep-fried snapper was crispy and nicely prepared. We ended the meal with the peach gummy dessert, which was light, refreshing, and a pleasant way to finish. In order to expand your palette, you must be willing to explore all that the foodie world can offer ~ thus on a random weekday, when the hubs & I got to sneak in a random lunch/day date, I chose Jiang Nan..and boy did we leave full & satisfied, without braking the bank! Jiang Nan, per their IG, is a modern Chinese fusion, Michelin recommended East Coast & California dining establishment. It's conveniently located around the corner from my house, in the Orange Tree square shopping center, to the far right of the 99 Ranch market in the old SW bbq restaurant space. When you walk in, the total remodeled area is modern, yet still invoking Asian roots. The servers/waiters & waitresses are friendly and accommodating. We ate lunch around 12:30ish in the afternoon, while schools were still in session & people were still at work, so it wasn't packed but still had a good amount of business. Parking was a lil madness, but we don't mind walking, so we parked farther, near the daycare towards the back left of the center. For lunch, they offer agreat deal ~ for only $17.95, you can get a single serving set..consisting of one meat + one veggie + one soup combo (see attached pic/menu for options offered). Your meal also comes with rice. In order to try more of the yummy options, the hubs & I both agreed to try different dishes and share. In the end, I settled on the eggplant with garlic sauce, stir-fried beef with scallions and hot & sour soup. My hubs chose the dry-fried green beans, sweet & sour pork tenderloin and egg drop soup. Let me tell you, everything was made freshly and pleasantly surprisingly..perfectly marinated & seasoned. Chinese cooking to me can sometimes be too salty or overly drenched in sauce. However, my eggplant was saucey but not mushy, the beef stir fry was earthy & refreshing with the scallions. It tasted like beef belly meat..which I love. You can taste some ginger in the stir-fry too. Lastly, the hot and sour soup was just proportionally spicy and sour. There was loads of mushrooms, tofu & egg. I slurped it all up. We really enjoyed the hubs greens beans as well. It had a garlicy flavor with a crisp bite. The sweet & sour pork was not overly sweet and was super moist and tasty. And his egg drop soup was flavorful (I still preferred my hot & sour soup tho). Under $40 for lunch, for two these days is quite a deal, considering the amount of food you get and the quality to which it's made. Visited with friends for Lunar New Year. They take reservations for parties of six or more. When we arrived, one person in our group was already seated in the back, and two others arrived about 20 minutes late, but the staff was accommodating and didn't give us a hard time. There is a small private room in the back where we sat. I'm not a fan of tablet menus. I get the convenience, but swiping through a clunky interface doesn't do it for me me. Unfortunately, the dishes also looked better on the tablet than when they arrived at the table. We ordered the fried whole fish, dan dan noodles, half a duck, fried mushrooms, fried eel, pea sprouts, pork soup dumplings, some other greens, pork ribs, and fried milk. The fish was good, and the mushrooms were solid. My favorite was the fried eel. That said, several dishes were a niss. The pork came out room temperature and was not a fan of the seasoning. The duck wraps were cold, and the portion of duck itself was wmall. The fried milk dessert was pale and unappetizing, half of it stay in the plate. Service was friendly and attentive, and we weren't rushed, which was appreciated given that it was Lunar New Year. If you're in Irvine and craving Sichuan-style food, it's worth a visit. Jiang Nan is a Chinese fusion restaurant that recently opened inside the often busy Orange Tree Plaza located at the corner of Walnut Avenue and Jeffrey Road in Irvine. It has achieved "Michelin Recommended" status and blends "tradition with innovation, inheriting the rich culinary artistry of Chinese cuisine while infusing it with modern, stylish flavors, serving signature dishes like Peking Duck, Xiao Long Bao, and Grilled Fish." There were long waits when the restaurant first opened, so we did not visit until the crowds died down. Like most fusion restaurants, the restaurant offers an elegant atmosphere and presentation is everything as evidenced by how their dishes were plated. We tried a number of dishes and of the ones we tried, the Cumin Lamb on Sizzling Plate was probably my favorite and the Sauteed Tofu w/Crab Meat was the most exotic. My daughter enjoyed the Hand-Made Pork Soup Dumplings so much that we had to place a second order. The only miss was a rib dish we mistakenly ordered - portion size was small and it was not particularly flavorful. Jiang Nan prides themselves on their commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional service. I commend them on their service levels as they had plenty of wait staff working the night of our visit. I also wanted to give our server, Josie, a shoutout because she went above and beyond to provide top-notch service to enhance our dining experience. Everything was so good especially the lobster that had a really good deal for 2lbs for $35 and they can cook in various ways, but the best way was the fried garlic!! You got a jones for Chinese Fusion food, whatever that is? This is your place. This is the newest iteration of what once was and went. S and W Seafood and BBQ with it's sticky carpet was busy for years with good reason and then closed for no reason. Tang Du didn't do, so it stuttered and shuttered. Jiang Nan is certainly huge, pretty and all dressed up for the dance and now just needs a chance. "Fusion" may be the future. That means you will be handed a tablet to peruse. Good luck. It scrolls and rolls, interfaces and back spaces when it shouldn't. Just keep boinking the schmootzy screen until your cart is full. Staff are IT saavy and are there to help with Tech Support. They are all roving around the restaurant like their pants was on fire. Sen Yang adopted my table as it was obvious I needed a little assistance. He was very helpful and while the computer may be more efficient, if you have a question, you still have to flag down a human. Sen Yang to the rescue. Pointing at some other table's food may be worthwhile here when ordering. There was some odd Membership Program with other items on that menu. No cost to just sign up and keep scrolling. I can't help it, I'm a paper menu guy, but then this is the future. A QR Cube cubed. The Food: I thought this place was connected to Jiang Nan Spring, in Alhambra. A moment of silence for the sudden demise on one the best in town. Nope, Jiang Nan is part of an East Coast chain. No matter it will either sink or swim on it's own local merits. A Hostee will point at your table and as soon as you make your nest a bowl of crunchy Cabbage in Chili Oil gets set down before you. There is no coursing the meal. Whatever you order will appear at your table as the kitchen gets it's computer feed. Dishes come out quickly and at random when cooked giving the illusion of fusion a fast food feel. First out was a small bowl of Dan Dan Noodles with Pork Bits and Scallions. Mix it up and chopstick up an oodle of noodles. This is a credible version and served as a nice base for the other dishes I dropped and dragged on the tablet. Next out came Spicy Chicken Wontons masquerading as Dumplings. It arrived jet engine hot and was a tasty classic. The Wontons were settled in a puddle of Chili Oil. The interior of each package was all prime Chicken. No feathers, beaks, toenails and feet. This was the highlight of my foray into fusion. The Peking Duck Spring Roll was party food fingers of crunchy wrapper stuffed with lean Duck and fresh Herbs served with a syrupy Sweet Sauce. Another winner. A large tureen of Baby Cabbage in Chicken Broth showed up next. This required both hands to move the bowl around on the table although it was shallow. Smoke and mirrors as it looked like it would feed the entire Chinese Army. If you love lightly wilted Cabbage in Broth, this dish is for you. For me it was a bit bland, so I hailed Sen Yang and asked for a cup of Chili paste. Ask and a runner will run up to your table with whatever. The Chili Paste was thick and twice as nice on the Rice which was also bland. Get some. Speaking of, the Bacon, Vegetable Rice Clay Pot was simply a mound of White Rice from the Zojirushi Cooker. Not for pre-diabetics. There were Pork Bits and Diced Vegetables mixed in. (Green Bell Pepper and Onion). More Chili Paste, please. Was it spiritual? Not so much. Finally, the main even appeared. Cumin Lamb. The dish sizzled and then fizzled. A bed of chunks of Stir Fried Green Bell Pepper and just Caramelized Onions squares supported a pile of Cumin Lamb. The Lamb was razor thin little sheets and was stringy, connected to connective tissue and inedible gristle. I'm still fumin' over there being no Cumin. This lamb should be on the lamb. Bottom line, I'd return here to order differently and try Jiang Nan Style again. read more

Yesterday we decided to try this restaurant. Since they don't take reservations and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, one of us arrived early to get in line. Luckily, we were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise. Ordering is done via iPad--very straightforward and easy. The restaurant is located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch Supermarket, so parking can be challenging during peak hours. We started with the pork liver stir-fry, which I absolutely loved. It tasted so similar to what my grandma used to make before she passed, and I was genuinely happy to experience that flavor again. We also ordered the Peking duck. There were four of us, and the half portion was more than enough. It came with the usual hoisin sauce, sugar, leek, and cucumber, but also included a surprise addition of pineapple chunks, which really brightened the dish. Highly recommend this. The duck bones were then made into a tofu and Napa cabbage soup--rich, comforting, and incredibly flavorful. Our server made an excellent recommendation. We also tried the fish stir-fry, which was just okay for me. I'm not a fan of heavily sauced fish dishes, so it didn't stand out. The pork and crab xiao long bao came four to an order and were quite tasty. For vegetables, we ordered pea shoots (dou miao), and they nailed it--vibrant green, tender, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we shared the deep-fried milk curds with condensed milk for dipping. They reminded me of mozzarella sticks (one of my favorites), with a great contrast between the crispy exterior and soft interior. I told my friends I'd love to come back to try more from the menu--there are just too many options to choose from. This restaurant is a good option for something a little fancier than the average Chinese restaurant but not as pricy/fancy as a formal restaurant. The decor is clean and minimal with some Chinese art as flourishes. What makes this spot feel a little fancier is the plating of the dishes, the attentive customer service, and the slightly higher than average prices. Overall, I thought my food was tasty but not necessarily exceptional. Mapo tofu with fish had a good kick to it, Peking duck egg rolls were a little dry, lychee and mangosteen green tea mostly tasted like lychee tea, and the shrimp with tomatoes tasted like sweet and sour shrimp. Best dish here was the Napa cabbage with chicken broth. The broth itself was very cozy and I liked how the little bits of dried scallops and goji berries added a pop of flavor to some of the bites. My waiter (a young guy with glasses and tattoos) was very attentive and helpful, offering to pack up all of our food and regularly checking in. The only thing I didn't like about this place was that as I was waiting near the hostess a woman working there shoved me with her body as she walked by. We were so excited to try this new Chinese restaurant which opened in the Sam Woo Market center, especially since they offered Peking Roast Duck. We made a reservation on Yelp and went for a late lunch. We were seated and a very nice young lady explained we are to order using a tablet which she will come by and check before we submit it to the kitchen. The decor inside is very nice, but maybe a bit cramped for large parties. As we perused the menu and noticed there were a limited amount of chicken dishes including no "Kung Pao" chicken. That seemed odd. We also were craving "Twice Cooked Pork," which also was missing. We ordered lettuce wraps, string beans, and crispy beef. The dishes were good, except the lettuce was slim pieces of lettuce which were hard to fill with meat. Then things got strange. I asked for the menu to look at other dishes and especially their famous Peking Duck. Using the tablet, I began to scroll upward which opened a entirely new section of the menu with many of our favorite dishes? What is this? I asked our waitress. "Oh, sir, that is our MEMBERS ONLY section of the menu which includes Kung Pao Chicken, Twice Cooked Pork, and Peking Duck. Members only? Immediately I felt excluded and restricted. The staff explained that membership does not cost anything and just needs your phone number and name. I have to admit, in all my years and all my travels, I have never experienced being restricted from ordering anything in a restaurant. Membership in other restaurants is an incentive program to boost sales and offer discounts to their customers. This membership is restrictive because if you are not a member, you may not order a big portion of their menu. It was a shock to me. The food was good and the service was excellent. 'The kitchen and the front of the house are doing a great job. The restrictive membership is deceptive and frustrating. The Peking Duck was excellent. Taste and texture were perfect, with the pancake wrap thin and stretchy. 10 pieces were included for half a duck. Sweet and sour squirrel fish was tasty and well-presented. Service was excellent as everyone was friendly, attentive, and well put together. Multiple TVs were on streaming TVB and the Lakers game. Order via their ipad. The menu was extensive, requiring many many scrolls to get through all the choices before making your decision. Tried this spot in Flushing, New York so was really excited that it made its way to Irvine! What we ordered: - Half order peking duck ($50): came for the peking duck which includes the thin wraps, cucumber, onions, pineapple, dipping sauce, and a little bit of sugar. The duck itself felt a little dry but the flavors when made into a wrap go very well together. I will say I have had better in terms of tenderness, but it wasn't bad and the presentation is nice. - Pork XLB and chicken/shrimp XLB ($9 each): Comes with 4 per order and I thought it was just ok. Probably wouldn't order it again. - Stir-fried green beans ($16): Solid and can't go wrong. It is a stronger flavor that actually has a bit of a cake. But good portion size and tasty. - Tiger prawns in chili sauce ($30): More on the expensive side given it's not that many prawns. However, the prawns are large and juicy and the chili sauce on top is slightly sweet. Each bite made me want to go back and eat another. We arrived around 11:15 today and were waiting for them to open at 11:30 but saw folks flowing in already so we decided to do the same. Instead of closing the entrance off or having people write their names down on some sort of wait list, no one was really directing anyone and it was just a bit chaotic. After we sat down, the waitress came over with the iPad that you order on and asked us to place the order for duck now if we wanted one. Then she came back and told me they were sold out. I was having a hard time with 1) sold out items while being the first seated parties that day and 2) the restaurant not having their star item in stock. Weird... Prices are high, so be prepared but I thought what we got was not bad! Best dish we tried was definitely the dongpo rou. It was so tender! I always get the deep fried snapper with pine nut in sweet and sour sauce if I see it. Theirs is ok, meizho dongpo has a better one. For the soup dumplings, one order only comes with 4 and unfortunately most of them already popped when it was served to us (aka most of the soup already leaked out, sad). Leave those to eat at DTF instead :). When we went, there were some portions of the menu that were labeled "members only" but they told us everything was available. I was excited to hear that Jiang Nan was opening in Irvine since I recently moved back from NYC and I've been to their original Flushing location. This location honestly surprised me because this experience was better than when I went to the Flushing spot. This restaurant has a Michelin bib gourmand distinction and it's definitely on the fancier side for Chinese restaurants. I went with a larger group so we were able to try a variety of dishes. My favorites have to be the sweet sour fish and the eggplant with garlic sauce. The dishes were well executed and had the perfect amount of sauce and flavor. The xiao long bao was also so good, the skin was delicate yet it was able to hold a lot of the dumpling juice. The duck for me wasn't the star of the show, the skin wasn't as crispy as I expected but overall it was good. I'd avoid the spicy wontons, the wonton itself was bland and tough and the sauce was mid. I'll definitely be back when I feel like treating myself to the fish or eggplants! read more

I checked out this newly opened Chinese restaurant in Irvine that's from NY and was recommended by the Michelin Guide, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I visited with coworkers first, liked it a lot, and went again that weekend with a friend. Ordering was super convenient thanks to a tablet system where you can browse and search the menu. Since it just opened, everything was spotless, and you could really feel how attentive and thoughtful the staff were. When we ordered tea, it came with a tea warmer and a proper teapot, and they kept refilling it without us even noticing- which was a really nice touch. I highly recommend trying the floral tea. One thing I really appreciated was how easy it was to find vegan options using the tablet. Even when items weren't explicitly labeled as vegan, the staff were happy to check and confirm, and it turned out there were actually quite a lot of choices. It's a great spot to go with non-vegan friends too - no one feels like they're compromising on taste. The standout dish for me was the mushroom rice in the stone hot pot. It was incredibly flavorful, and you can easily make it vegan by removing the egg. I went right before their 11:30 AM weekend opening and was able to get seated immediately, but I have a feeling this place is going to get very busy soon. You order through a tablet on your table and there are photos for each dish which is great for anyone who is new to this kind of cuisine. We were celebrating a birthday so we order many dishes for the table to share. First off we ordered some starters - Wagyu cheese spring rolls (these were just ok), soup dumplings (the skin was a bit thick but tasted ok - this is not dintaifung), their pork belly with garlic mash was delicious and crowd favorite. We also ordered the mapo tofu which comes spicy but they did tone it down a little for the non spicy eaters at the table. The star of the show was the roast duck which came with steamed pancakes and all the accoutrements. The duck was tender but the skin wasn't crispy as I'd hoped. For an additional $15 the cook the duck bones in either soup or make We also ordered the stir fried shredded cabbage with pork belly (yum!), clay pot mushroom rice (favorite!), and sautéed pork belly with green pepper. Also delish. Presentation for all the food was great and portions that felt the right size. Great place for a celebration or a treat yourself dinner. They started a lunch special today. Soup three choices we had hot and sour and egg flower with seaweed. The best hot and sour i have ever had. Fresh ginger, tofu, egg bamboo shoots, seaweed in a perfect hot and sour soup base. The egg flower was mild and totally yummy. You have four choices for a main. We ordered the lamb and the beef. Fresh ginger and garlic on the lamb with a kick of mala sauce. The beef and scallions was also delicious with fresh garlic and scallions in a mild sauce. We chose two vegetables chinese long beans and chinese spinach. Perfect. Aimee waited on us. She is a delight. The place is clean and bright and we loved every minute. read more

Came here on a Saturday night for dinner and waited a bit for the crowd to die down--totally worth it. The restaurant is beautiful and easily one of the nicest, most polished Chinese restaurants in Irvine. It's super clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet (no loud plate-clanging like you get at a lot of Chinese spots), which made the whole experience feel more upscale. The food was delicious--Chinese fusion done really well. Portions are a bit smaller than a traditional Chinese restaurant, but everything we tried was flavorful and felt thoughtfully prepared. We started with the Imperial soup (their "fancy soup") and it was rich, comforting, and really tasty. We also ordered the sliced chicken with chili oil (great heat and flavor), braised string beans (so good), and the braised pork ribs, which were also delicious. For dessert, my son got the peach gummy dessert--light, airy, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Shoutout to our server, Yanny--she was friendly, thorough, and genuinely helpful. We had questions about a few dishes and she even went to the kitchen to ask the chef about ingredients, then came back with clear answers. That kind of service really stands out. One thing I loved: ordering on the iPad. You can see the dish descriptions and prices upfront, and the food came out efficiently after we placed everything. It's also a big plus compared to places like J Zhou in Tustin where the receipt can be hard to understand if everything is written in Chinese. Everything here is a la cart. Our family was excited to try this place for the first time, after hearing their NYC locations were recommended in Michelin Guide. I made a reservation on a Saturday for 13 and was surprised I was able to secure a table that large, on such short notice. The restaurant had an upscale'ish feel to it, but we were defintely crammed in the dining area like sardines. Our chairs were touching the chairs of the guests behind us and made it difficult to navigate to our seats. As for food, we ordered hungry. In total, we ordered 15 different dishes such as: Peking Duck, Sweet & Sour Pork Tenderloin, Crab & Tofu, Latte Chicken, Snow Pea Sprouts, Fried mushrooms with Truffle oil, Crispy Beef, Crab & Pork XLB, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Stir Fried String Beans, Baby Cabbage in Chicken Broth, Seafood Fried rice. Portions were small (as expected), but with 13 people it was nice to have just a little of each. The most memorable dishes of the night was probably the Peking Duck and the Baby Cabbage. If I had to redo it, I would have skipped the Sweet & Sour Pork, Latte Chicken, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Food plating didn't match the atomsphere and pricing it was going for. Majority of the dishes were just presented on a plate white plate with no garishes. Service was great. Our server was attentive and constantly checking in on us and clearing our empty plates. At the end of the night, our damage was over $500. In the end, I thought the food was good, but pretty pricey for what we got. read more

My family and I went here for our Christmas Eve dinner. Peking duck takes about 30 minutes to prepare so they tell you once you get seated. I made a reservation but it wasn't needed since they had ample amount of seating. Food was good but nothing stood out to me to make me come back. Service was quick and attentive. This was the perfect celebration for our mom on her birthday we were able to be seated in the private room and it fit comfortably for a party of 9. The food was amazing we loved each dish especially the honey walnut shrimp, mushroom hot pot, pea sprouts, xiao long bao, hot and sour soup, Japanese tofu, mapo tofu, it was a beautiful dining experience and on a weekday it wasn't crowded. The service was wonderful and the manager came to wish our mother happy birthday and gave us birthday noodles! It was a special treat and they played the birthday song during her cake which she really enjoyed. The service was impeccable the water and hot water was always filled and we truly enjoyed the experience would come back to try their other dishes and to celebrate another special occasion. Came here to eat tonight. Waited 10 minutes for a table around 8:00pm on Saturday night. Service is very attentive and friendly. Food tastes great, but portion size is small and prices are expensive. We ordered 1) Peking Duck half - tastes great but barely any Duck! 2) sweet and sour pork ribs - only a couple pieces even though the flavor was spot on 3) sautéed potato shreds - not sour enough but decent 4) limoncello dessert - expensive for the small quantity 5) creme brûlée - nicely done 6) 2 bowls of white rice - yum Overall the food is good, but Portion size is small and prices are expensive here which brings the star rating to somewhere between 3.5 to 4 stars. I came to JiangNan for dinner with my friends. I called ahead to make a reservation and they told me that parties of six or fewer could simply walk in, which was very convenient. As soon as we walked in, I really liked the decor. atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Peking Duck and the fish with pickled mustard greens, crab meat with tofu,dishes were delicious . While enjoying the food, we were also watching the sunset outside the window,which made the whole dining experience feel especially relaxing and enjoyable. There was also a small fun moment during dinner. The restaurant playing birthday song while we were eating, and it turned out someone at the table next to us was celebrating their birthday.
