Asada plate with jalapeño and onion and chips and extra tortillas and what else!? Yum

8 buck for horchata, come on now. That is ridiculous. Shooot. Pick up only mostly. Two tiny tables around if you need to eat there.

This was my first time here and it won't be my last. My partner comes here once a week, so he decided to take me here for lunch. Honestly, I'm not joking this is the best Asada burrito I've ever had. I live in Long Beach and I will be making the drive just to have this burrito again. I'm excited to try other things on their menu; he loves their nachos as well. Customer service was excellent, and the food came out super fast and hot. There is limited seating inside the restaurant, so we got our order to go. The pricing was definitely reasonable. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the steak was seasoned to perfection almost like a pot roast. I can't describe it, it was just magnificent.

Nice little hole in the wall Mexican food! Not much seating inside, maybe 4 seats total. Most people grab the food to go. Seems like many pre-order and just stop by and pick up their food. They have two designated parking stalls that sometimes fill up but there is plenty of parking in the center if you don't kind walking a few hundred feet. :) Food is great, always packaged well...and they also give you chips! We got some guacamole on the side the first time here but this past visit, we didn't see any in the bag.

Excuse the messy trays. We couldn't help ourselves . Food was delicious and friendly service, definitely will be back

Shredded chicken fried taco, chicken scraps, skin, veins, fat

I ordered shredded chicken fried tacos and these lazy workers think it's ok to give scraps of the chicken to customers! They didn't give me chicken they gave me scraps the chicken veins, fat, skin.. omg it was the most disgusting thing. That's not what a shredded chicken taco is you're supposed to clean the chicken and throw away the scraps! horrible restaurant! Look at the picture..

    Menu as of 10/10/24

Solid Mexican food. Chicken Burrito was very filling. Good quality ingredients. Will return.

We've My wife and I are huge Formula One fans, and Bandeño has become part of our race-weekend tradition. Every race weekend, we order Bandeño. Sometimes twice or we order the night before the races that start really before they open at 9:00am, yes, it's that good! It's our version of race fuel, like the rally monkey is for the Angels, or cheeseheads are for the Packers! The flavors are bold, fresh, and unmistakably authentic in a way that's hard to find and it has never disappointed. We love it so much that we've basically turned into unpaid ambassadors. We've told friends, neighbors, and anyone who will listen, and we even cater Bandeño for our employees once a quarter because it's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. If you want food that feels real, made with care, and tastes incredible every single time, this is the place. We just found out they also have a location in Fullerton and we've started to take our friends in Fullerton and they all have loved it so much they take pictures and send us every time they go! Last thing, you MUST try their spicy hot green salsa! We only wish they sold it so we could stock up!

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

We also grabbed a flaky pastry in the attached bakery (I didn't catch the name), but it was perfectly buttery and light. The Food: I had the stuffed quesadilla with asada (beef) and it did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful and moist while the white cheese was soft and gooey. However, the tortilla could have been crisped up a little more, as the gooey inside made the tortilla so soft that it ripped too easily and fell apart. Still delicious though. My wife has the 3 street tacos for $9 and, wow, talk about being disappointed. Firstly, the tacos are mini size. Like, smaller than the palm of your hand. Second, they came with sour cream -- not very authentic. Third, you'd need six tacos to get you remotely full. Next, the accoutrements were nothing to write home about. The salsas were just OK, and the pickled carrots and radishes were bland and not very plentiful -- literally just 2 or 3 pieces per person. The horchata was average at best. The Setting: Firstly, it's listed as the super generic "Street Taco" online but the sign out front says "El Street Taco." Second, even though it looks like a sit-down restaurant, you can't go inside. They've set it up as a stand with only outdoor seating. The cash register is behind these tiny windows that you have to duck down to look through if you want to see the cashier; super awkward. Overall, it's clean and organized, but there's not enough garbage cans and it's not very cozy or inviting -- and especially not for the prices you're paying. The Service: Our server was fast, friendly, and efficient -- a true plus for the business. The Conclusion: The quesadilla was so good, but the rest of it left me wanting. From the outdoor-only seating, the weird window setup, the undersized tacos, only go to "Street Taco" if you're prepared to get street-cart quality food at sit-down restaurant prices.
