I love this place. I eat here once a week. Everything is good here and the service is great.

This place is a cute small, hole-in-the-wall Mexican food joint. It's very clean, minimal seating inside. There's four tables inside fits literally only two people. There are seats and tables outside, but I'm not sure if it truly belongs to the establishment next door to this place. I like how organized and clean it is. I came in the evening time on a Sunday. There was no one inside. Cash is better, but they do accept major debit/ credit cards. I came here because it was recommended by a friend to try their asada fries. That's exactly what I had ordered, only modification I had was no tomatoes. Can't wait to come back and try their other food combination items in their menu. It all looks great! read more

i bought the lengua torta and combined it with the red salsa to make a fantastic explosion of taste and flavor. Also paired it a a fresh cantaloup water for a lack of better translation...LOL. But it is amazing. Pleople say that good things come in small packages so please don't be surprised about their square footage but about the heart the cook and owner puts towards the amazing food. If I had more than 5 stars to give, I will give it a 10. Please take the time to visit and try any of the meats, they are great. read more

This was my first time here and it won't be my last. My partner comes here once a week, so he decided to take me here for lunch. Honestly, I'm not joking this is the best Asada burrito I've ever had. I live in Long Beach and I will be making the drive just to have this burrito again. I'm excited to try other things on their menu; he loves their nachos as well. Customer service was excellent, and the food came out super fast and hot. There is limited seating inside the restaurant, so we got our order to go. The pricing was definitely reasonable. My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. We have been in a restaurant rut so I have been looking for new places to eat breakfast/lunch. Thus, we left Orange for the rarified air of Villa Park. My wife had the breakfast burrito. I had the two taco plate with a beef taco and a chicken taco. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: This restaurant has really long hours. If you are making an early start or need a late meal, you are in luck. Service was fast and friendly. They have a pretty traditional menu. You are likely to find your favorite Americanized dishes here. They share parking with the library, a market and a bank. You can combine a visit with other errands. Their refried beans and tortillas were excellent. The beans tasted freshly made and the tortillas were thick enough not to fall apart. Cons: There is very little indoor seating. This may or may not be a problem. Their rice tasted like instant white rice with red coloring, no detectable flavor. Actually, everything was fairly bland. Of course, this is a matter of personal preference. The beef tacos were made with unseasoned ground beef. That's just lazy. Their prices were a bit high for the simple nature of their food. My wife said they used a LOT of salt. I am not sensitive to salt so I will accept her judgement. Will we go back? Maybe. I may return and get the potato taquitos to go when I am too lazy to cook. All in all, I cannot give them a hearty recommendation but I know some people prefer bland meals and this may suit them well. read more

We were very disappointed after ordering to go at this place yesterday. We decided to try the pozole and menudo but I called them ahead to ask if either one was spicy. They assured me that it wasn't. Portion looked good so we were preparing to eat it right away when we got home. Both soups were spicy beyond belief, we have eaten spicy food but this was too much, couldn't even eat more than a little bit it was so ridiculosly spicy. We had to throw away, so disappointed. Nice little hole in the wall Mexican food! Not much seating inside, maybe 4 seats total. Most people grab the food to go. Seems like many pre-order and just stop by and pick up their food. They have two designated parking stalls that sometimes fill up but there is plenty of parking in the center if you don't kind walking a few hundred feet. :) Food is great, always packaged well...and they also give you chips! We got some guacamole on the side the first time here but this past visit, we didn't see any in the bag. read more

The food is delicious! You get a lot for your money. Excellent flavor. Staff always friendly. The place only has a few tables so many take it to go. I like to eat there. The inside looks clean. They bring you some chips with beans and cheese. Bottled drinks and fresh drinks. No diet soda or uncarbonated water. So I bring my own or get at liquor store next door. They didn't give me chicken they gave me scraps the chicken veins, fat, skin.. omg it was the most disgusting thing. We LOVE discovering hidden gems! Not sure this is so hidden to the local community, but we were here for a soccer tournament and this was walking distance from the fields. The menu selection was great, signage easy to read and made it easy to order. Aside from an assortment of tacos, quesadilla, combo plates and tamales, they also offer ala cart items and ice cream! Really reasonable pricing too. The gentleman who assisted us was so pleasant! When we got to the front of the line, he was thorough, helpful and patient with my kiddo who initially ordered something they were out of. I ordered a crispy chicken taco, cheese tamale and fish taco. While it was all great, I wish I ordered 3 fish tacos - sooo good!!! Fam ordered a chicken and a steak quesadilla - came with rice and beans. We also received chips & a variety of salsas and crema. The red is Spicy HOT, lol - green was more my style! I think it's over priced. I mean. I never paid attention to the price I paid for my meal the first two times I came here. It wasn't till yesterday when I came here. I bought one $12 torta and a Fanta orange. It all added to $17 bucks. I feel like that's just a rip off. There are other Mexican restaurants that are way more authentic and not expensive. This is definitely a hidden gem! Glad I found it. It has a mom and pop feel and appears to be well run by a hardworking husband and wife team. The husband seems to be the chef. Firstly, I noticed there were many Mexican customers (seated, take it to go orders, on line). This is always a great sign that the food is authentic and/or an excellent value. I ordered a breakfast burrito. It turned out to be a platter including crispy fries, jalapenos, radish slices, grilled onion, and crunchy tortilla chips. They generously included sufficient condiments (2 different salsas and ketchup). My only criticism is that they ran out of bacon :(. I had to settle for ham. If it had been bacon, I would of scored them a 5. Never run out of bacon, Team!! I look forward to an upcoming Taco Tuesday.
