Crunchy Tacos
Shaun B.

Found this little gem while searching for some good Mexican grub while we were up the street. This place was a great place for fresh, delicious Mexican food. I choose the 3 for $8 crunchy tacos. The carne asada and pollo al pastor were both delicious. The carne had a delicious flavor and the pollo with the al pastor flavor was a delicious alternative to the traditional pork option. My partner for street nachos which were absolutely bomb! Everything here has good flavor and isn't too greasy and doesn't make you feel too heavy after. The workers were very kind and helpful. The food does take awhile, but to get the freshness, totally worth it. They only have a counter and a few tables outside, but the food is delicious!!! Would come back for some good tacos and other Mexican fare!

This is currently my favorite spot for a quick bite to eat. I love their agua fresca. Their churros were just okay--they tasted slightly raw. But I also appreciate the fact that their al pastor isn't so salty, like other places. The patio also has a very homey atmosphere to it, and there's never a line. I like how simple their menu is, and I'll definitely be coming back here again. I'm so glad I found this place!

I've been coming here for a year and I just had to come on here to say how much I love this spot. Every visit that I have had here has not disappointed! Ive ordered their carne asada burritos, hard/soft shell tacos, sopes and there street nachos.... All INCREDIBLE. The nachos are my FAVORITE. The food tastes fresh and the woman up front is so kind and attentive. She's been the one to help me every time I have visited. I've introduced a few of my friends to street taco and they said they are going to bring their friends! If you're looking for great food, awesome service and clean spot.... try Street Taco :)

This is a GREAT local spot! I LOVE their breakfast burritos, stuffed quesadilla, and the Ay Papa burrito. Ask for the extra hot salsa, if you can handle the heat, they make a great one! I've also enjoyed their soft tacos, fish tacos, street fries, torta, and menudo - when they had it.

So happy to have found this delicious neighborhood gem for street tacos and burritos. Ordered the 3/$7 taco special with 2 Al pastor and 1 carne asada with all the toppings. A must! Instead of two corn tortillas each street taco had one with a more hardy (thicker) corn soft shell. Also had the cheese quesadilla with chicken Al pastor (did not know you could have pollo prepared that way); a (hefty) carne asada burrito (with fries!!!); and fish taco. Highly recommend the latter-- go with the spicy sauce. Yummy!!! No inside seating but there's a cute patio with red umbrella and lots of shade.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The service is always great, friendly and fast. The crunchy tacos are the best, but you can't go wrong with everything on the menu . I highly recommend coming to El Street Taco.

Just quick update from last review. Food is still great per usual and service is astounding and efficient. Wanted to update y'all on the current cost due to inflation.

Fish, Asada & Carnitas tacos

Found this place through Yelp when I was in the area craving for tacos. It's only an outdoor seating with just a counter to place your orders. 1. Fish taco - 3/5 - too crunchy and way much batter. I didn't even tasted the fish 2. Carne Asada 3/5 - good but the meat is too tough in my opinion 3. Carnitas - 5/5 The size of their tacos is a bit small for the price ($3 ea) I'll probably order carnitas tacos next time I'm in the area.

Really enjoyed the 3 street tacos, rice, beans with cheese, and jamaica I picked up from here yesterday. The carnitas taco was my favorite, then the carne asada. I wasn't used to the taste and appearance of the small cubes of chicken, but the taste was ok. I loved the hot salsa and the avocado salsa. Flavor of the jamaica was perfection. Not too sweet and not too tart or sour. Was worth stopping in the rain, ordering at the pickup window, and sitting under the canopy for the short wait time. Service was friendly and efficient. First time here and I hope to return soon.

Best taco place in the area, prices are good and you won't be disappointed. It's hard to find a good taco place in the general area.

Cool spot with some great margaritas and cocktails!…read more Love this little Mexican restaurant located on the bottom floor of the Packing House. Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!

It's on the first level of the packing district. It's a small spot but they make effective use of their space. There were people there but it wasn't full. It took a really long time for our waiter to take our order. We each ordered two tacos from their special and I tried the spicy margarita and my friend had the sangria. The spicy margarita wasn't my favorite and I found that it was wayyyy too spicy. The spicy really overpowered the alcohol and other flavors. The presentation for the drinks was beautiful but the flavor didn't do it for me. My friend didn't seem like she liked the sangria either. The tacos took a really long time to come out. The Al pastor pieces were cut into thick cubes. There was nothing memorable about the tacos. I really wanted to like this spot but it was a complete miss for me.
