The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

I really loved the shrimp ceviche here. Each piece of tostada was covered and already seasoned and limed. It was fresh and had tons of shrimp pieces. The fish tacos were also amazing. I used some of the mayo and fresh limes they gave me. The fish was soft and delicious. They have a house sauce that I really loved; it was not spicy and had a look of spices that reminded me of a slight Tajin taste. It went well with everything I ordered. Looking forward to coming back here, the service was really friendly and my waitress was so nice!

Thought I'd finally post a well deserved review and give them some god damn credit! It's so hard to fine authentic or even close to authentic Mexican seafood classics and signature dishes like even as simple as a basic ceviche tostada, agua chile or fish taco even. This time I had a shrimp taco, shrimp ceviche tostada then finally I ordered a PULPO AND CAMARÓN CEVICHE tostada. This place always have a nice friendly staff and people who know what they're talking about. Wish there was a location or sister restaurant closer to me in Costa Mesa / Irvine area cus I no longer live in orange. But yes, this place is awesome. Buenísimo ! Provecho PUEBLO.

But on last Saturday morning 3/7/26 I found a parking spot and walked right in. I ordered a wet burrito with barbacoa, 3 carne asada tacos and a bowl of menudo. The wet burrito came out hot covered in red sauce and cheese. The baracoa was tender and had flavor. Easily one of the best wet burritos I've ever had. I got the tacos for my brother and menudo for my mom so no feedback on those foods. I walked in around 9:30 am the place was semi busy. I saw couple of customers having the menudo. Its an indicator that its good. Staff was nice and gave me a complimentary bag of chips and cup of salsa. I would return to sample other items from the menu and recommend.

I love it when I come to a mom and pop shop with delicious fragrance and Spanish speaking locals because you know it must be good!!! We ordered takeout because room was limited and it was still extremely hot when we got it home (about 15 minutes away). We ordered the pastor burrito and cheese and beans burrito. The service was extremely friendly and quick! The gentleman there was so helpful and understanding. They do charge a 4% up charge when paying with card. So cash is recommended. Cost is very reasonable and the burritos were both fantastic with salsa made in house! Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but their quality is definitely there!
