Taco

My favorite place ever!!! Lots of Mexican food choices.. but the machete is forever my fave!! Salsas are all good and they have grilled onions and potao wedges also! Green picaditas are also my fave. Service is great and fast. You can sit inside or outside.. a must try.. little hidden treasure for sure.

12 Tacos

My friend ordered tacos from this spot so that I could try it out and I'm so glad she did. We ordered for a group of 3 people and ordered both carne asada and al pastor tacos. Both were incredibly flavorful. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, and the tortillas were cooked well without being overly greasy. But what really took the tacos to the next level was the salsa. The creamy, light green salsa in particular is amazing. Definitely one of the best salsas I've ever had. It added the perfect kick and creaminess to every bite. Great food at a super reasonable price.

Went there for taco Tuesday. Tacos were $1.50. I had never been there before so I didn't know what to expect but the lady working the register was extremely nice.. I talked to a couple people while I waited for my tacos to be ready and they all raved about the tacos and said they come here all the time. I ordered about 17 tacos and they were ready and about 10 minutes. When I took then home to the rest of the family we were all impressed, they were absolutely delicious filled with flavor.

This place is a hidden gem! The tortas are incredible perfectly toasted bread, fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor The quesadila is amazing, loaded with cheese and cooked just right. Their tacos are top notch, and the salsas take everything to the next level. Definitely a must-visit spot! The place is a little small but has tables inside. They also have some great deals, like 12 tacos for $21. Everyone is super friendly, and the atmosphere is lively with music playing

Pastor Sope and Pastor Taco

Love this place! Parking is very easy. Inside is small, but relaxing. They have good music playing that is not too loud or too quiet. The staff is so friendly and food is made fresh. You order at the front and take a seat at one of the few tables inside. There is a salsa area to get different kinds, but it also has the pickled carrots and more. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes con carnitas as well as a pastor taco and pastor sope. The chilaquiles are absolutely amazing. I chose to do a medium egg on top, but you can ask for it any way. The chips still have a crunch and the salsa has just the right amount of spice to it. The beans are super flavorful. The pastor taco and sope are amazing as well. The sope is huge and has great flavor. The taco is exactly what you want as a taco. We will definitely be back. This place has quality food and amazing service.

Was pleasantly surprised. I had driven past this place several times and finally decided to try it We tried the machete with Lengua, and a pastor burrito. Flavor was great. The machete for me was enough to feed two. Some people might not think so. The salsas were even more amazing. Great flavor and spice on the four salsas that we tried. I think I would definitely consider going back. Maybe you could consider adding gorditas to the menu, since you use masa to make machetes. I can't find anywhere that makes gorditas close by.

Entry

Las Salsas Taqueria -- Authentic Flavor, Fresh Ingredients, and Friendly Service Las Salsas Taqueria is hands down one of the best places to enjoy authentic Mexican food. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of grilled meats, fresh tortillas, and spices instantly makes you hungry. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is always quick and attentive. Every dish tastes freshly made and full of genuine Mexican flavor. The tacos are phenomenal -- perfectly seasoned meat, fresh cilantro, onions, and warm tortillas made just right. The carne asada and al pastor are especially amazing, juicy and flavorful in every bite. Their burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas are generously filled and perfectly balanced, and the salsa bar is the star of the show -- with so many fresh, spicy, and flavorful options that take every meal to the next level. What really sets Las Salsas Taqueria apart is the consistency. Whether you dine in, order takeout, or grab something late at night, the quality never changes -- always delicious, always satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and you can tell they take pride in every plate they serve. The value is excellent for the quality and portion sizes you get. You leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. If you love real Mexican food made with care and flavor that feels straight from home, Las Salsas Taqueria is a must-visit. Five stars for amazing food, friendly people, and authentic taste that keeps you coming back for more.

Carne Asada tacos

The tacos were delicious meat was very tender and not fatty. The enchilada were so flavorful, but a bit too spicy for my liking. Next time I will get the green sauce only. Everything was very good and I see why they have so many stars

Came here cause my husband wanted to eat Mexican food. We got an asada wet (additional $2) burrito, 12 taco pack, 3 chicken Taquito combo, chicken enchilada combo. I got the asada wet burrito with half red and half green sauce. I personally liked the green sauce better. The burrito was huge!! The asada was good. It wasn't dry (maybe because it was drenched with the sauce). I think next time I won't get the burrito wet cause I couldn't try the different salsas that we brought home. We actually ordered too much food, but always great to have leftovers for lunch for the next day. The 12 taco pack, we got 6 asada, 2 pollo, 2 carnitas and 2 pastor. It must've been good cause my 2 kids ate 7! My youngest really liked the Taquitos, it was very crunchy. The rice was tasty and not too dry or too sticky. My husband got the chicken enchiladas. He really liked it. I took a bite and it had a slight kick to it. I tasted his beans and it was very tasty. Overall, this might just be our new go-to. I'd recommend checking this place out and would definitely be returning. Next time, I wanna give their Machetes a try.

We ordered the carne asada burrito ($10.49) and two chicken enchilada plate ($10.49) to go. I was the only customer when I arrived and my order took about 10 minutes. My only issue is that they charge $0.50 to use your credit card. While i waited for my order, I packed some salsa to go. There are 6 different containers of salsa; unlabeled so you don't know if they're spicy or mild. They also have potatoes, grilled jalapeños and picked carrots to go. My husband enjoyed his carne asada burrito. The chicken enchiladas were good. Honestly good but not great! You should definitely try it once. Good selection on their menu.

Al Pastor and Carne Asada Tacos.

A friend pick up the party pack tacos from here and it was such a hit! I love how they're already filled and topped with cilantro and onions, so they're all assembled. We had the carne asada and al pastor, but my favorite was the al pastor here. All of their sauces were spicy too and gave that extra kick on the tacos. Perfect for groups and parties!

This was a great find and the definition of a hole-in-the-wall! Small space in an unassuming strip mall with just a few tables. The staff here are very nice and the food is true authentic Mexican! We ordered a couple breakfast burritos (they have sausage, steak, and chorizo meat options) and they were huge and delicious with a perfectly crispy tortilla. Also ordered their tripe and carnitas tacos as well as their menudo. The tripe taco wasn't what I expected because the tripe is deep-fried so I probably wouldn't get it again, but I enjoyed the carnitas and the menudo hit the spot on an overcast, rainy day. The menudo came with tons of chunky tripe in a beef broth. I added lots of lime to give it some acidity. You need to like tripe to like this and it does have a strong scent to it. They also have a little self-service bar with different salsas, limes, radishes, and jalapenos/sliced carrots/onions. I didn't realize Orange had hidden gem Mexican places like this! Definitely stop by and give it a try.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

We had a large group of about 30 people, which is never easy for any restaurant to handle, but they accommodated us so well. I ordered the carne asada plate, and the meat was cooked to perfection -- tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. You can tell they know how to prepare their dishes with care. For dessert, I had the arroz con leche, and it was amazing. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and comfort, especially after an emotional day. The ambiance truly stood out. The hacienda-style patio with trees created such a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The Spanish-style architecture inside, along with the fountain, made the whole experience feel warm and inviting.
