This used to be the go to spot 10-15 years ago. Went down the drain. Had a cabeza burrito and my wife had a pastor burrito. Her burrito the pastor was dried up, my burrito didn't have any flavor. The salsas were garbage, rojo tasted like warm beer with lime, and the verde tastes like an ash tray. Not to mention toon for 2 drinks and 2 burritos came out to almost $40. The al pastor hits every time, and the service is quick enough to make you forgive the little things. I've frequented the Westminster location since I was like 13, so finding out this was close to us I was so excited. Everything is basically the same and quality of the food is just as good as the other location--delicious! The salsa verde is amazing as well. The service is fine, they went too quick in filling our first burrito and didn't ask what type of salsa I wanted (just poured red and I prefer green but it's fine) and didn't ask if we wanted cheese. So now we know to state it at the beginning or you're not getting what you want because he would not unroll the burrito lmao. Tasteless food I have ever had! I have been living in area for almost 3 years and I cross this place at least 10 times a week. Today was the day I would try Taqueria Mexico. After all what can go wrong, it's been here for a while and well, I was hungry. I ordered a simple carne asada burrito, i am of Mexican race born and raised here but still have had my loads of Mexican food. This by far is the worse tasting food I have ever had! The rice, the beans the meat all needed salt, seasoning, FLAVOR! Do they not taste their food before serving? I only had half and It's been 3 hours and my stomach is still turning. Never will I go into this place again. Try at your own risk but keep some alka-seltzer on hand! read more

Guy with red looking hair rushed me out like if I was disputing his lunch time. A lady was assisting me and checking me out but as I was inputting my email for the receipt, he pushes a button on the register and it's opts me out completely. He went to sit back down and gave me a dirty look like if I wasn't suppose to be there. I didn't think much at first but as I check my email, no receipt. Why am I only receiving two salsas for 5 tacos?? (See pictures below) This is the only taco spot I've ordered from that skimps out on salsas. I would have ordered extra salsa on the side but of course they don't even have that as an option. Not only are they stingy on salsas, but they also have burnt over cooked HARD rice. I've never had food from a mexican spot that made disgusting rice like this place did. You can see the dark grains in the picture I posted below because it's that burnt. You are a disgrace of restaurant if you can't even do the bare minimum and cook rice correctly lmao. This is a joke of a establishment. Even the limes came thrown in the bag with no container, literally just laying in the to go bag. On top of that the limes had no juice whatsoever and were rock hard. The food was good however, the customer service was terrible. I asked for five tacos to go and asked for three salsas and the guy laughed and I asked him what was funny and he said he could only give me one salsa per the business owner. He said he was going to give me the salsa however he didnt mention he was going to charge me three dollars more. When I asked for the receipt he stated he couldnt print it. I did the math and they charged me three fifty more than the taco obviously also including tax. Ventured into the depths of Orange sometime last week and found myself at Taqueria Mexico at the recommendation of a friend. The ancient candy vending machines along with the sketchy beat up ATM sitting on that classic old brown square tile flooring screams delicious Mexican food. The tacos are around $1.89 each and the burritos are under $10. Pretty Cheap! Honestly though, I had the al pastor and cabeza tacos and they were pretty good. Nothing to rave about but they definitely got the job done at a price that I couldn't complain about. I don't think I would seek out Taqueria Mexico the next time I'm craving Mexican food but I'll probably pull up if I happen to be in the area and want a quick bite. read more

By far my favorite place to get tacos in SoCal! The price isn't bad at all and there are a lot of meat options. I definitely prefer their tacos over their burritos. Their burritos aren't bad, but they're fairly small. My go to order is tacos with Cabeza (beef head), onions, cilantro, and salsa verde. The meat is so tender, YUM!
