Stopped by on a friday right at 1pm to pick up lunch, drove right up to the drive thru. After ordering could see the cook making my california burrito fresh. You could tell he was hustling, took a good couple of mins but well worth it. Burrito was one of the better Cali burritos Ive had recently. Love the shoe string fries. Didn't like that a "mission viejo" burrito online which comes with sour cream and guac cost $14 but a california burrito add guac comes out to be $17 for the same item. Next time I'll just do that. But burrito wise, definitely hit the spot and was damn good.

California burrito

Albertacos has multiple locations across Southern California and Colorado. This location in Orange is on a corner intersection with a small parking lot. We ordered the California burrito ($13.25) and the carne asada fries ($17.99). The burrito had a lot of sour cream, some fries, and not much meat or anything else at all. The carne asada fries were thin which was good but the only fresh ingredient was the small amount of pico in the guacamole. It needed something refreshing and they just didn't have it. However, I still liked it more than the burrito. Another interesting observation was that their red and green sauces came in pre-sealed packets instead of containers with lids which made me question just how fresh they were. For the price and what I got for them, they just weren't very good and I've had much better elsewhere. Their drive-through is open 24/7 which is probably one of the only good things about it.

My late night Uber Eats order - carne asada fries (wrong order) and 3 rolled carne asada tacos
Debbie S.

So I need to start off by saying that I love this place. It's by go to when I'm visiting and staying in this area of Anaheim. But the reason why I'm giving this review 3 stars is because they messed up by Uber Eats order, and I was unable to get the meal I actually wanted because of not having a car for them to correct their error. However, the mistaken carne asada fries that they did give me (instead of a carne asada burrito) was still good. And their rolled tacos was crunchy as ever as I like them. Please just pay attention to an order when packing it especially when it's being picked up by a delivery service.

Carne Asada Nachos

I always only order from here on DoorDash so I can't speak on service or ambiance. Some of the reviews here scare me even. But I do want to talk about how I enjoy my nachos. I specifically enjoy my nachos without the queso cheese and more with an oven baked style where the cheese is solid. This is the only place nearby, open late night when I have my cravings, and has it. It really does fulfill that kick. And the portions are great. Honestly, I love that one dish I get. And will get it again from them sometime soon.

$2 extra for a cold lump of cheese
Chris W.

Sitting here in the parking lot, during prime lunch hours, I have only seen one other car order food, I think I can tell you why... this place actually has decent food, but they nickle and dime you for everything! A basic lunch today of a bean and cheese burrito, shredded beef taco, and iced tea- totaled $20.84. I wasn't aware that I would be charged an additional $2 for asking for cheese on my bean burrito. The cheese added was not distributed equally, and there was a big lump of unmelted cheese at the bottom as I was finishing the burrito. It's just not worth it to eat here... so pay attention owners! Maybe the late night college kids keep you in business, but you should be ashamed for treating loyal customers like this and it's no way to be successful.

Order an asada fries. Let me say this... this gotta be the worst fries ever. I don't really write reviews even if the food is bad, but the fries was hard as a rock and tasted so cold and old. Never ordering this place again sorry. 1 star tho for the horchata, the horchata was my dinner. Btw the fork couldn't even poke some fries

Carne Asada Fries

What a rip off! $18 for this? There was barely any carne asada. It was mainly just fries and sour cream. Was still hungry afterwards. Very disappointed as the other Albertacos are generally pretty good, but sadly not this location.

Carne Asada Burrito.

Decided to give this place a second chance after eating a really cold burrito while dining in, and the burrito wasn't cold this time. The redemption arc of this burrito is truly a sight to behold. Came in on a Saturday afternoon as the only customer. Service was quick and the staff was pleasant. I ordered Carne Asada Burrito and a large horchata. Horchata has only failed me in life once before, and I'm glad that the record remains the same after drinking their horchata. The burrito was decent. Nothing too crazy about it, I'm just happy it wasn't cold like last time.

Breakfast Burritos "Extra bacon"
Shawn M.

I'm not one who normally complains about portioning but if I'm paying nearly $5 for "Extra Bacon" I should not be getting a couple crumbles of it throughout my whole burrito no exaggeration, while many other spots that's will give more bacon for their regular portion, burrito wasn't too bad itself.

The crowd alone caught our attention, so we decided to give it a try -- and I'm glad we did. Atmosphere: The moment we walked in, the vibe immediately stood out. It has a charming vintage feel, with beautiful natural sunlight pouring in, making the whole space warm and cozy. Perfect for a relaxing weekend brunch or a casual meal with family and kids. Here are the dishes we highly recommend: Guacamole & Chips Absolutely addictive. The guacamole was fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. We couldn't stop eating it. Steak Plate The steak was cooked perfectly tender, and the juicy corn underneath soaked up all the delicious flavors. Every bite felt satisfying. Pulled Pork Tacos Super authentic Mexican-style tacos with rich layers of flavor. The combination of refried beans and avocado sauce made them even better. A few small notes: The restaurant was extremely busy, so the staff seemed a little overwhelmed at times. Service was okay overall, but understandable considering how packed it was. Coffee lovers: Their coffee leaned a bit on the sweeter side for us, so if you prefer less sweetness, it's worth mentioning when ordering. Overall, such a fun and lively brunch spot in Old Towne OC. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!

Nothing pre-made, everything crafted fresh and customized to your liking, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It's tucked off Katella across from the TJ Maxx and Smart & Final center, with parking and entrance in the back. Once inside, you're welcomed by such a friendly team. The space has two dining rooms, a cozy bar at the entrance, and a cute little street-facing patio. We kicked things off with the Picchu and La Diabla cocktails. The Picchu was crisp, refreshing, and light. Super easy to sip. The Diabla had a subtle spicy kick that kept things interesting while still refreshing. For food, we started with the ceviche mixto without octopus, and wow. The citrusy lime flavors were bright and fresh, perfectly balanced with sweet plantain chips on the side. The portion was huge, easily enough for three to four people. Next was the mixed Lomo Saltado. It was packed with flavor, though the chicken leaned a bit dry for me. I would probably go all-in on the beef or shrimp next time. The shrimp were huge. Then came the ribeye tacos and I'm not exaggerating when I say I was in love. The beef was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, and every bite felt like a moment. We also ordered extra plantains because these flavors just call for it. Crispy, sweet, and so satisfying. My second drink, the Oye Mi Amore, was a standout for me. I love guava and this one delivered. Now let's talk about the experience because it really made the night. When another server came to box up our food, we didn't catch his name, but he turned a simple paper bag into a whole luxury experience and had us laughing nonstop. Our server then asked about dessert. Of course we said yes since it was date night. She surprised us with a complimentary churro. While we waited, she brought out tequila shots. Totally unexpected and so smooth. Then the churro arrived and it was unlike any I've had. Light, airy, and delicate instead of dense, with just the perfect sweetness. The whipped cream was soft and cloud-like and paired beautifully. As if that wasn't enough, she came back again with another round, this time in snifter glasses with a darker tequila that was rich and incredibly smooth. We never felt rushed. We were just genuinely taken care of the entire time. For the two of us, the total came out to $145, which felt more than fair for the quality and experience. We will 100% be back, and next time we are bringing family and friends. Huge thank you to the staff for making this such a fun and memorable night.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

For dessert, I had the arroz con leche, and it was amazing. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and comfort, especially after an emotional day. The ambiance truly stood out.
