Big fan of tripas and buche tacos. I'm pretty sure this might be the cleanest spot I've been to. This is my go to place for pork tacos. Tastes clean and the fresh salsa tops it off. To the owners, "Keep up the great work! I can definitely see the quality in the tripas and buche you put out!" read more

A lot of people were inside so it was very promising! I went in to try the handmade tortillas, very soft tortillas by the way. There are definitely better tortillas out there but for the price it was very good! What was a shocker was the Thursday special tortas for 6.99!!! The torta was IMMACULATE. I loved it! I shared it with my mom and it was a good portion! 9/10 stars The cashier was friendly and the salsa bar had a good amount of options!!! Definitely try vip tacos!!! read more

Closest taco shop to where I live. Decided to try it out but wasn't impressed. Hand made tortillas is what caught my attention but I think if you can eat them fresh there they might've tasted better than at hope all soggy. Might give them another try and eat at the restaurant. They have a couple seats outside but the parking lot can get really busy. Rather not eat outside and taste car fumes. read more

Like I've said before in previous reviews, this has to be my favorite taco place in Orange! They are so nice, quick to prepare the food, & there's always a place to sit if you want to eat inside. read more

VIP Tacos - Tacos Near Me - Anaheim, California

This place is my go-to taco shop since it is so close to home. It is located in Anaheim right off the 57 freeway in a small plaza with other food and a 7 Eleven. Parking is a bit small but people come and go so you don't have to wait too long. On weekend nights this place gets really busy so you will have to wait. They do have a small dining area with a few tables inside and a couple outside of the taco shop. The ladies at the register are great and always encourage me to order in Spanish since they know I struggle. They always get my order right and the service is so fast. There is a self serve condiment area inside with radish, cucumber, different salsas/chilis, and frijoles/beans. If you dine inside, you can get the beans for free. They are delicious. I tend to order the mulitas with carne asada. It comes with a side salad with crema and cucumbers. Everything tastes so good and I love how the cheese melts in the mulita. It is finger looking good. My favorites meats is the carne asada, carnitas, and the al pastor. I just found out that they are open for breakfast and I have my eye on the chorizo burrito so I will definitely go back. read more

Came after a concert as they are open late for those looking for a quick yummy bite! Great portions and quick service. The asada was my favorite. The chorizo could have been a little less greasyish, but honestly maybe the taste of the sope I got just made me want another one instead of the chorizo . :D The salsas had a good taste to them. The habanero had a good taste & just the right amount of spicyness. The green salsa wasn't spicy. The avocado had a bit of a spicy taste to it. (Food does come with salsa on the side as they have a salsa bar) Music was playing in the background as well which was nice. read more

I got 4 al pastor tacos plus 1 asada and paid $20. The quality of the tacos were good, but idk if I'd pay $3.50 each. However, they are more sizable than other tacos. Flavor and sauces were all decent as well - solid 7/10 taco taste-wise... just expensive. The service was good and extremely fast as you'd expect from a taco joint. Order at the front, then grab your own sauces and free beans to the right of the cashier. The interior is small maybe seats around 15ish give or take. Location is next to a liquor store so you can buy drinks separately as an option. I'd give this place around 3.4/5 stars. Maybe I'll come back if the prices decrease a little. read more

Talking about the best fish tacos fresh full of flavor just the way they should be. Service was friendly and polite.

Handmade tortillas and some of the best tacos in the area. Wide selection of food and different meats.

Visited on January 8th. It's in a small parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. The place was clean. The service was good. I had potato taco also known as tacos dorados. The combination plate comes with 3 hard shell tacos, rice and beans. They have a salsa bar and a pot of cooked beans available for you to enjoy while you wait for your food. I have to say, those beans were good. They have fountain and bottled drinks and aguas fresas. Orchata was good. Overall, I'd recommend this place and would come back to try other items. read more

Great food and very reasonably priced. They also have daily specials. I had their carne asada nachos and absolutely loved them.

I had such high expectations for this place since I've always heard good things, and it's right by me, so I was excited to finally try it. The prices were definitely higher than your typical taco spot, and I was surprised at how little it filled me up. I usually eat 5-6 tacos when I'm hungry, but here I needed 8 just to feel somewhat satisfied. My family and I went together for the first time, and honestly, the food just wasn't it. The beef and chicken tacos tasted horrible, and the salsa was bland with no spice or flavor--it didn't add anything at all. Overall, really disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Taqueria Escalante across the street is way better. read more

Stopped here after ducks game. Great spot to pick up some quick tacos and some real tasty eats after a sporting event. Hands-down the best thing we ate, was the quesadilla you got to go for the freshly handmade tortilla. Best way to go it's almost like three tacos and one when you add meat really enjoyed the tacos but could've rocked with a bunch of quesadillas and been super happy. Not a lot of seating inside, but for the most part, the eats are pretty quick. It's pretty straightforward so there's a lot of turnover. It's open till 12:30 in the morning so you can grab your tacos real late. We ordered probably 20 tacos between us and they came out super fast. read more

Stop what you are doing and go get some tacos from this joint right now! I had two Carne Asada and one Pastor and tried all the salsas. The pastor was out of this world!! The flavor was so good. Small little shop, not from the area was looking for something quick and easy. The order was ready fast, prices were decent, I ordered two mulitas, it seems like the tortilla was made fresh. If I'm in the area again will be stopping. (They have a salsa bar which is always a plus) read more

(NOTE, not the best picture of the quesadilla) I came here on a Taco Tuesday night with my family and the overall experience was ok. Service was good and quick, prices were kinda up there compared to other taco spots and the food was ok. The handmade tortillas were really good and their salsa was tasty but the main ingredient was lacking... the meat. Granted, juicy and tender but not very flavorful. Thankfully the salsas and condiments added flavor and made the meal a lot better but the meat on its own was missing something. Maybe it was an off day/time but I'd go back to give it another shot. read more

Went on a Tuesday and to my surprise they had a taco Tuesday special. The service is good and fast. I got tacos de pollo and asada. The tortillas are hand made there so that gives the tacos an extra good taste. They are also not stingy with the meat. I would definitely recommend it. read more

This is my mom's favorite taco spot, and it used to be mine too back when I ate meat. Now, I still come here for their quesadilla, and it never disappoints! The prices are super affordable, and they're definitely not stingy with the meat--they load it up! Their hot sauce is legit and adds the perfect kick. This is the spot to hit up after the bar or whenever you're craving tacos, especially on Taco Tuesday. Highly recommend! read more

The chorizo was all dry and hella old the al pastor was not good either. Asada was ok

I'm going circa 2023 when I was writing reviews differently, then again, you, you haven't changed a bit. I still see the same beautiful charisma that makes you a delicatessen. You wouldn't dare try to presume that I want you. How would you know, that's very presumptuous of you. Quite honestly, that's a different side of you and I am not sure how I feel about this new side of you. Yet, I see you and I can't help myself. I won't be defined by my urges. It's biology and you are just out of this world. I did enter and checked you out. A full menu, wow. You intrigue me even more. I do what I do best, I order one of each because I want to spend more time with you. I don't want to seem needy, so I casually pull back. Don't worry I will be back. You and I are going to make great things happen. You just wait. I know that you are part of a tender and meaty relationship. I will see you again. Even if you don't know it. read more

This time we ordered burritos since they were on special! The burritos were a decent size for $6.99 (you can't find that price at most places anymore) and they had a good flavor. The burritos come with the standard items: rice, beans, cilantro, onion and meat, and you can choose to remove any of them (they asked if everything was okay). Since it wasn't taco Tuesday and it was raining the restaurant was quiet we were the only people dining in. Definitely a visit if you're looking for a real taqueria. For salsas I def recommend the green avocado and the red (it's spicy so beware). It's nice to have a place that has legit salsas. read more

Tacos are really good, what makes them special is the handmade tortillas. However customer service during my visit was not that welcoming. Cashier looked like she didn't want to be there. I was looking forward to tasting the beans de la olla, but there were no more little trays. cashier was busy with another customer so I asked a guy who came from the back for a container to get beans and cashier responded with "I got this" I waited just for her to say we don't have anymore. Very disappointed, she could have easily given me a foam cup. I guess that's why there is a sign at the door looking for a cashier. I didn't really know what to expect when I first came in here, because the area it is located in is less than reputable. However, ignoring the uncomfortable amount of transients stationed just outside of the adjacent 7/11, I was pleasantly surprised with the place. Don't let the downscale ambiance turn you away! Though no one welcomed me when I walked in, but rather just stared awkwardly as if I wasn't even meant to be there, I was determined to get in on the taco Tuesday deals. Mind you, they charge more than two dollars for their tacos on a taco Tuesday special, so I was immediately biased toward the level of quality I expected to receive. For more than two dollars, I better be munching down on some loaded, flavorful tacos. Well, the tacos were filled with a more-than-acceptable amount of meat and garnishing, but the flavor was mid. That's really all I can say, good portioning with some disappointingly mid flavor. If this place was any further than just down the street, you can rest assured I wouldn't return. Come here if you're local, go elsewhere if you're looking for something bomb. read more

I really like this place, so here's a warning. 1) Don't go starving, because it takes awhile for your food to come out. It's good food not fast food. Lol! 2) Watch out for that tortilla when it comes out because it's HOT!! 3) it's a small place so there's not a lot of seating. Their tortillas are handmade and super filling. Had mulitas, al pastor taco and al pastor tostada. The tortilla for the taco is pretty big and they pour a lot of meat on it. Once you're done eating the itis just hits zzz. I'm already thinking about going back. read more

Stopped by after a late night concert and there was a small line, but it moved quick. They were cleaning the inside (which is always good to see that they clean before closing) and while the chairs were being stacked (we must have come close to closing, sorry!) it looked like there were plenty of seating if dining in. Service was very friendly and they had to go cups for the salsa to pack them up with your food. We ordered carne asada burritos and while they're a little pricey, it's pretty standard pricing across shops and the burrito itself was delicious even after sitting about 15 mins to bring home. The burrito was loaded with carne asada, rice, beans, onions, and cilantro and hit the spot. Would definitely be down to come back and try more! I heard their carnitas is really good as well so I'll have to try that next time. read more

Been coming here frequently maybe once a month but the last time was the last time. I am almost certain I got some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning the last time I ate here. After I finished the food I had a bad feeling about it, just a gut feeling that what I ate, was not okay to consume. As I was sitting down, I got a glimpse into the back and a worker or two were sitting or walking around drinking beer with no gloves. Which is crazy to me but you do you. Meat is cheap and never really cooked or cared for very obviously, usually bland or missing color to it. I've had this lingering nausea feeling for a week now and I'm certain it stemmed from eating here. Lady at cash register looks like a zombie too which isn't a good look or representation of the food you're expecting. Cya. I hope I get well soon because this nausea is unfortunate as heck. read more
