Wow! What a difference some time away makes! It makes me sad that I haven't had much time to come over to this side of town and enjoy some of this yummy food, but WOW, this restaurant has made some amazing upgrades! It is beautiful inside! I'm sure there are some before-and-after photos on here, because the transformation is incredible. Now, the restaurant finally matches the food and that's saying something because the food has always been great! I absolutely love it here! Whenever I'm able to make it to this side of town, I always come for their pozole. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you can truly tell they make their food with love. Unfortunately, our first visit here on Saturday, September 12th around 1pm was a really disappointing experience. My mom had tried their food through her work before and had been raving about it, so she was really excited to finally bring my dad and me. Before heading over, I called to ask if they were busy since my mom had to work later that day. I was told there wasn't and that tables were available, so we decided to stop by. None of us had actually been to the restaurant before, so we weren't familiar with how their dine in process worked. We originally planned to take our food to go, but while I was still at the register finishing our order, we changed our minds. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice ambiance, so we decided we wanted to stay and enjoy our meal there. I immediately let the employee at the register know and she told me that was completely fine, to take a seat and that they would bring our food and check to us. When I walked over to the table, another staff member was already speaking with my mom about us sitting there. We explained that this was our first time and that the employee at the register had just told us to take a seat. She explained that dine in customers are supposed to wait outside to be seated, but the way she spoke to my mom and me was unnecessarily rude. There was an uncomfortable back and forth while we tried to explain that we genuinely didn't know the process and were simply following what we had just been told. She eventually rolled her eyes and walked away. About 10 minutes later, another staff member brought out my mom's food along with chips and salsa, which we hadn't received while we were waiting. We expressed our frustration with the overall communication and service and she apologized, which we appreciated. She also explained the dine in process again and we completely understood. We would have had no problem following it from the beginning had we known. What made it even more frustrating was that while we were eating, we watched other customers walk in and immediately be greeted and given directions about where to sit. That was literally all we needed when we first walked in, especially as first time customers. The restaurant itself was very clean and my mom really enjoyed her food. Unfortunately, I couldn't really enjoy mine after how uncomfortable the experience had already made us feel. My mom had been so excited to bring us here, which made it even more disappointing. Been coming here for years, good food, great service and a clean environment. Newly remodeled, brought a fresh new look on the restaurant. My favorites are the enchiladas and the menudo, and the agua frescas and orange juice are always made in house and taste amazing. Lindo Michoacán takes me right back to my grandmother's cooking. Everything is prepared fresh and cooked to order, so when the food arrives, it's always piping hot and full of flavor. The handmade corn tortillas are thick, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The service is consistently excellent, and watching all the dishes come out of the kitchen makes it hard not to want to order everything on the menu. The dining room is on the smaller side, so it can get pretty busy on weekends, but the atmosphere is lively with four large TVs showing sports. I come here for their chilaquiles chingones and they never disappoint! Highly recommend getting it with scrambled eggs and a side of their handmade tortillas. I usually have enough leftovers to take home and have for lunch the next day. Parking is a bit sparse, but there's residential spots available next door and within walking distance (as well as my favorite romance bookstore, Heartbound Bookshop). All their dishes are made to order, so please have some grace and be patient with their kitchen. As I always say, you can't rush perfection! read more

We were so happy with the flavors of our food! This place was really busy at 10:30 Saturday morning. We were 3rd on a waiting list, but our party of 3 was seated within 5 mins. Everything I have tried here has been really really good. The food is super authentic and tasty. The service is always great and consistent. This place has a lot of hype on Tik Tok so we decided to try it. I was craving good chilaquiles and this place had great reviews about them. Unfortunately, they were inedible. The spice was something ridiculous. I ordered the red chilaquiles and it's as if their salsa was from the camarones à la diabla. The waitress never mentioned the spice level and I love spicy but this was stomach-lining-irritating. When we told her instead of offering to replace them or take them away, she said that customers like it and that next time I should ask or order the ones in their chip's salsa... there was a second opportunity and she doubled down. Out of respect, I did not argue with the señora waitress. They still charged it instead of offering some sort remedy. Their coffee is also not cafe de olla. It's like a diner coffee with cinnamon and tasted burnt, also left that. Aside from the terrible chilaquiles, their fresh oj, agua de pepino, beans, and homemade tortillas are delicious. A sit down establishment - they give free chips & salsa. A little spicy but refreshing salsa and the chips super light and crispy. I had a lengua burrito mojada salsa verde and the lengua was super soft and th salsa verde super flavorful. I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and even though I live out of state now, I always make time to eat here whenever I'm in town. The food is always fresh, delicious, and the handmade tortillas are soft and amazing. My favorite is the menudo, and I love that they serve it seven days a week, which is hard to find. I also like that you can customize it with or without hominy or pata. The fresh chips and salsa are a great start to the meal, and my daughter loves the tacos de lengua. Adriana is an amazing waitress who always goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your meal. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the music is at the perfect volume to enjoy while still having a conversation. Weekends can be busy, but it's always worth the wait. Service here wasn't great and I hate to start a review like that. They asked me for my name for the waitlist and then they didn't write my name down. I noticed about an hour into my wait when i saw people who were being seated who had gotten there after me. When i asked about where i was on the waitlist, they couldn't find my name at all and instead of having me sat next i proceeded to wait over an hour. In total i waited over two hours for my food.
