The amazingly delicious and fiery Chikali Salsa, only at Taco Land Anaheim.
    Yan N.

Everyone has a Taco Trail, a Taco Map, Taco Tour, whatever you wanna call it. You know, those taco spots you have to hit when you need a fix. And if you don't have one, you should probably remedy that. And when you have one, be sure to add this place to it. We took a little week long road trip to Disneyland with the kiddos, and of course was craving a little Taco time. The Wifey, being much more up to date on this social media stuff, found this place on that "Insty gram" thingy. So we headed over. It's only a 10-15 minute drive from Disney, but after trying it, would gladly drive a hell of a lot further. It's a Disney themed taco spot! The decor is cool, the owner and his staff are even cooler, and the food is awesome!!! I thought the "Tacos Chingones" were gonna be regular street tacos, but nooo... these things were epic! The "Gobernador," grilled shrimp, with cheese and house made pico, on fresh corn tortillas. The beeer battered fish taco with cabbage, house pico, sour cream and secret sauce. The pork belly taco, with onions, cilantro, avocado sauce and pickled onions, that really helped balance out that deliciously unctuous porky pig. AMAZING!!!! Then, they have a whole separate Birria menu!!! So of course, being a fat kid, I had to try the Birria Quesadilla. It was loaded with delicious, slow cooked, beef Birria and melty, gooey, stretchy Oaxaca cheese. You could taste all the spice notes, the cinnamon, cloves, thyme and Mexican Oregano all singing in harmony with the Pasilla, Guajillo and Arbol chilies. Then that consommé... that delicious preserved broth oozing with Birria goodness. Puts it right on par with the best roast beef and French dip you've ever had. And I'm not even gonna go into the house made, family recipe salsas sitting there conveniently at the table, ready to set your food on next level fire!!! Especially the "Chikali" salsa. Created by the owner himself, this sauce is literally fire. Spicy, but not overly, and so, so flavorful! If he doesn't start bottling them and selling them, he's doing himself and the taco community a disservice. Anywho... I washed it all down with a couple of delicious, ice cold Pacifico cerveza's and called it a night. I left full, fat and happy. Fueled up and ready to hit the park again in the morning. The moral of the story is, if you're anywhere near Anaheim and you're craving some good, modern, Mexican food, be sure to put this place on your Taco itinerary. And if you're not craving Mexican food, reevaluate your life decisions and go here anyway. You'll be glad you did. That is all!

Service was horrible. My friend visited California and wanted to try this place; it was our first time here, we had about three or four questions, but the cashier server did not want to answer them at all. There were only two parties at the restaurant, already seated, and no one behind us; so there was no excuse since there was no rush. The food is very salty, greasy. Nachos were soggy because heavily sauce. Bathroom are dirty. Please clean. Parking lot is rough. Won't be back. Do not recommend.

Al pastor, chorizo and Pork Belly Taco

After a long day being at knotts berry farm, my friend and i decided we wanted tacos and funny enough while we were at the park Taco Land popped up my IG feed and they reeled us in. When we got to taco land it wasn't even busy and we were able to find an easy parking spot. The cashier greeted us and let us take our time and we didn't feel rushed to order. The inside was so cool and all the Disney trinkets everywhere were so nice to look at. On to the food, I ordered 3 tacos, 1 chorizo, 1 al pastor and a bigger taco with pork belly, we also got carne asada fries. All the meats we had were so good and fresh! I'm definitely coming back here after my being a theme parks all day!

As soon as you walk in your greeted with a friendly smile and welcome from the staff! Also the atmosphere inside is so fresh and full of Disney decor. I ordered the surf and turf burrito, the moment I took a bite my taste buds exploded with flavor! The meat is juicy and well seasoned, not to mention they have many salsa options and a condiment area with pickled onions, carrots, fresh lemons. I can't wait to come back and try more items.

Finally able to try this place since I saw it on Instagram a while ago. They have their own parking lot, which is very nice. The cashier was super friendly and made suggestions for us since it was our first time there. I decided on the surf and turf taco which she recommended as well as as a bar queso taco. The salsa bar is great. They have the pickled carrots which I love. There are three different types of salsa which you can mix and mingle. The food came out rather quickly and it all tasted very good. The decor of course is seemed Disneyland, so you can't go wrong there if you are a fan! Definitely worth a try if you are nearby!

They got it going on. This Disney-themed restaurant has a variety of options and I enjoyed everything I tried. the secret breakfast burrito was the best by far, one of the best I've ever had, and the way that egg is wrapped around is genius. The birria grilled cheese was good and their agua frescas are incredible. Quick, friendly staff get you taken care of, and the Disney-themed vibe makes it a fun spot. I'll definitely be back.

When I moved to Anaheim this was the first spot I decided to try for Mexican food. On my initial visit (June 2025), I ordered the Asada burrito and I liked the size, but not the meat nor the price. Their asada is pretty dry and disppointing and the prices are quite steep considering there are a multitude of taco spots surrounding them selling the same food for cheaper. However, with inflation and being so close to Disneyland, what can you expect? I pass by all the time now but I only dare to occasionally go on Tuesdays when tacos are $1.50. I went this month and their carne asada is still subpar, but their al pastor?? When I tell you I rarely eat pastor but theirs is SO GOOD. I highly recommend trying it because they even have the pineapple that comes with it. Overall, Tacoland is an aesthetically cute spot to visit in Anaheim if you're a Disney fan who doesn't mind spending some extra cash or you're looking for a decent Taco Tuesday deal. Their servers are nice and they're just trying to do the best they can. However, I would recommend looking at other spots nearby if you could spare the time.

Didn't make it over to Disney Land; however, I reckon that I've stumbled upon the next best place: Taco Land in Anaheim, CA! Dos Birria Tacos Dorados con consomé, a fish taco, and a Mexican Coca-Cola . Perfect way to celebrate a Taco Tuesday, especially one that happens to fall upon Diez y Seis de Septiembre . Split a birria quesadilla for good measure. Everything tasted fantástico... plus, they have a Disney-themed vibe going on here that somehow just works. If you're a Disney-lover and enjoy tacos, this spot is definitely a must-visit!

I've seen so many TikTok's of this place and finally had the chance to go over the weekend with my brother-in-law. This is the first taco shop I've been too that actually gives you option to pick between corn or flour tortilla. Not only that but they use red onions for garnish which I prefer. I got three tacos Al Pastor, Carne Asada and Pork Belly. Carne Asada 5/5 meat was tender not dry at all. Probably would have to be my favorite. Al Pastor 4/5 meat was good but definitely has a charred taste. Pork Belly 5/5 pork belly is my favorite meat so this with the green sauce it comes with was delicious. Pork belly was crispy but tender at the same time. Agua fresca 5/5 sweet and refreshing. My brother-in-law got the fish taco and it was by far the biggest fish taco we've ever seen. I tried a piece of a fish and it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with good flavor. The staff were very nice and attentive always checking up on us and seeing how everything was. It's definitely a cute place to visit with a good amount of seating inside and a few seating outside. Their parking lot is small but there is street parking available. I'd definitely come back and try different things on their menu!

Cute spot to go grab food. Really cool place to go for people who are obsessed with Disney. I'd recommend the chilaquiles, the birria nachos were a little too much for me. But the chilaquiles were good.

Really enjoyed taco land ! I tried the quesibirra tacos and they were perfectly cooked. Plenty of meat inside and the birria on the side was what I need for my spicy Mexican food fix. The salsa are all top tier ! Service was excellent and exceed my expectations, they were polite and friendly. I enjoyed the ambiance, check out the mural :)

Amazing Fish Tacos. Much better than expected. Huge Fish tacos which justify the price. Great Flavor. Recommend you hit the salsa bar for some some pickled onions. Disney theme makes it fun for kids. The owner even gave out toys to the kids. Cool vibe.

Such a good place to have tacos and more so much options to pick from. The staff was really friendly. We were greeted right when we walked into the doors. The decoration and theme was so welcoming and cute! As we were leaving the owner was walking in and he was so happy to see us and said hi and shook our hands. I will definitely be back and try other stuff from the menu.

Review #1,082 Posted on 7.8.26…read more We stopped in here for a late night burrito & quesadilla on Sunday night the 5th after driving up from the Bay prior & getting checked into our room. This spot is located in a small strip mall shortly off the freeway on La Palma Ave in Anaheim. The food was really good, I was impressed with the meat portions in our burritos & quesadilla. There was a ton of meat. Both the red & green salsas were hot but still edible too. The rice & beans were quality as well. Highly recommend hitting this local spot up as they stay open late, and serve quality food.

I asked for their Birria tacos, the lady said this location doesn't have the Birria menu. Which is weird because other Yelpers posting a pic of their menu and it's their Birria menu. But alright. I proceeded to order and asked for their street tacos. She didn't tell me this is a cash only location also. So I went to go pick up/pay and when I go in to pay the man says, "cash only." I offered debit card, tap, Zelle. Nope. Cash only. Sucks they don't tell you over the phone. It's not advertised online either. I don't know what it is about this location. But imma keep my business at the Whittier location where they're friendly, offer their Birria menu, and other ways to pay.

I usually have enough leftovers to take home and have for lunch the next day. Parking is a bit sparse, but there's residential spots available next door and within walking distance (as well as my favorite romance bookstore, Heartbound Bookshop). The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning
