The line was quite long but they managed to get everyone's order out relatively quick. The menu options were easy to make decisions and had a really clean space. The pina augura fresca was so delicious. They used fresh ground pineapple and it wasn't too sweet. I paired with their OC taco bowl with carnitas and al pastor as my proteins and added some Cajun fries. The bowl was a nice sized portion and decent flavor on both meats. I did wish they gave more tortilla chips on top lol. The Cajun fries were cooked perfectly. They were crispy and seasoned with the right amount of that Cajun spice. They also had a really good habanero salsa to add to my food. It was a great choice overall. I would definitely order from here again if I see their truck at an event.

For the tacos I got a first round of cabeza taco, vampiro de asada, taco de queso con pastor, y un surf and turf taco. They have a salsa bar with lots of good salsas, onion, cilantro, red onion, lime, cucumber, and utensils. The tacos were all so delicious and a 10/10 spot!! The second round was a queso taco de cabeza with lots of sides on top. The service was great the guys obviously know good tacos, the have their grill out by the truck and sometimes they could be out there grilling. The sun was coming almost going down by the time I got there and the vibes were nice by the time I got my tacos. Im happy I got to try something new, I'll be checking them out soon. I had heard about it so we went over only to see a line that was 40 yards deep. No way to make our movie so we put it off. A few months ago I was somewhere that they were going to be only to learn that the truck broke down and the killer was last month when I was in Irvine and saw on Twitter that they were a couple blocks away. I finished my meeting and drove right over only to see the driving away. Aaahhgggg!!!! So today was a few miles away in Long Beach and decided to try the roll. I was shocked to find that there was no line and only a few marines that had just picked up their orders. I was surprised to hear whether I wanted butter or mayo. I thought I all rolls came with mayo but I asked what was more popular. The gal mentioned that the butter was more popular so I had to try that one. I was thinking about adding the extra meat but I am glad I didn't, the roll was perfect although I wish it were a little bigger. The roll here comes on what looks like a giant buttered Texas toast, not the hoagie type roll I was imagining but the toast was really delicious and adds a lot of taste to the roll. My roll had plenty of meat and had a few big chunks that you can really bite into. It had some butter on the lobster but not so much that it was oily. Just perfect. I cant believe how good it was to taste this awesome explosion of deliciousness and I cant wait to get back to try the sandwich with mayo; you know for research. Next time I will also try the lobster bisque soup. The Marine that was eating next to me also had the soup and it really made me crave it but I had a big breakfast this morning and so I will have to chase down this truck again.

It's still good! But it's has fallen from it's hay day. The burritos used to be much larger and stuffed with meat, but now seem to be mostly full of cabbage and kimchi with only a few pieces of meat spread throughout. I've stopped getting them altogether and have now "settled" for the blackjack quesadilla....which is still a delicious blend of cheese, kimchi, and spicy pork. Don't get me wrong, I'll still hunt down and grab Kogi every now and then. There isn't much in terms of delicious Korean/Mexican fusion and Kogi definitely hits the spot sometimes, I just wish it were as good as I remember it.

Other family members enjoy the tacos, enchiladas, chile relleno, and albondigas soup. The service is fast and friendly. The owner Rosalina came over and talked to us and she is a total sweetheart.
