Taco Tuesday!!!!!!! So far best price in the area for Taco Tuesday. I ordered asada tacos with cilantro and onion toppings. The asada taste bland. could use more seasoning or atleast more salt. Now that's easy to fix with their condiments. Theres different variety of salsa and carrots. I prefer green. I also added some more salt to my Taco and its a great decent Taco. I loveeeee and appreciate the Mexican Coca-Cola. It's Sooooo good. It definitely tastes different than American made. Similar, but different. I gave extra star for customer service. The lady made me feel welcome. From other viewers, i do agree....You do get a sense of vibe that you are home or in my case a guest in someome's home. Overall 4/5 for me. read more

I drive by Rivera's all the time and have been wanting to try their tacos. I was also excited by all the positive reviews on Yelp. Today I went for their Taco Tuesday. All their tacos were $1.75. I tried 3 different tacos including Asada, Carnitas, and Al Pastor. Each taco had plenty of meat on them. They also were sprinkled with onions and cilantro. The problem is they were bland. I added the mild green salsa but the blandness did not change. Wish I had liked them better. Rivera's is my favorite taqueria in Fullerton - and I've tried them all. Their service is always friendly - the food is made quickly - and their kitchen (clearly visible while ordering) is VERY clean. Their portions are generous for the price. I highly recommend trying their quesabirria tacos - or their cochinita (some of the best I've ever had). They also have a ramen birria that is a fun option to try something a little different. This review is based solely on their breakfast burrito! Chorizo breakfast burrito was just okay. The chorizo was not too greasy and had good flavor. Didn't love the hash browns in it and they had no flavor. Appreciated it was meat "heavy," but also felt that it was definitely lacking in cheese and barely saw the egg in it. Also feels like it needs some cilantro, onion, or peppers in it to add to the flavor. Wished I would have subbed beans for hash browns and at a $12 price point, it was definitely a 3/5. read more

This taco spot got my husband and I through the worst of Covid quarantine in spring 2020. Their Taco Tuesday was wonderful. We would pig out on tacos and horchata and find some joy even though Covid was tough. Their carne asada is the best! Followed by their chicken. Sometimes I would get al Pastor but I preferred the very flavorful carne asada. We also really enjoyed their burritos and their sopes. The best sopes I've ever had! I haven't found anywhere else that makes them as good. I would get them with the carne asada and ask for extra green salsa that had the perfect spicy kick which would taste great with the fresh sour cream on top. We would stop at bootleggers on the way to get the tacos and pick up a pack of El Chango with sea salt and lime and the flavor combo was perfect. I can't recommend this place enough. Perfect hole in the wall Mexican place. It's take out only - no seating. You can order over the phone which I would recommend doing on taco Tuesday or you might be waiting a long time! read more

It was my first time here and I got two of their fish tacos for under $5.00. It was served with a fresh warm tortilla and chunks of grilled White fish. They had their own sauce that came with their fish tacos. I would describe it as like a Sriracha mayo or something like that. It was served with fresh cilantro and fresh diced onions along with freshly sliced beets, pickled carrots, and a jalapeño pepper. I have to say this grilled fish taco was absolutely amazing! Oh, and when I ask about hot sauce, the nice gentleman who worked at the cashier suggested this spicy oily sauce and let me tell you, it was pretty spicy. They make your tacos fresh to order. It's a must try small boutique taco joint in the middle of a Fullerton neighborhood. The service here was excellent, they were so kind and welcoming. They seem like very happy employees which is great because when food is served by grumpy and rude workers, the food somehow just doesn't taste that great, right? Lol It was a clean taco shop and they all wore masks and practiced social distancing guidelines. The parking lot was small but sufficient.
