It's my first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint, I loved it. I ordered camarones à la diabla and it comes with rice and beans and a choice of flour or corn tortillas. The service was great, super attentive and very welcoming the moment you walk in. The ambiance reminds me of Mexico. It's beautiful inside. I highly recommend.

First time visit with friends who know the owner. Everyone was so friendly upon arrival and the service was quick. We came for the buffet and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is colorful and well decorated with Mexican art. There was also a great mariachi band playing. All the food was delicious and I couldn't eat everything. I'll have to come back to try the rest.

Your missing out if you have not tried Tlaquepaque, this place is on fire. The food is excellent, the service is superior and the ambiance is giving you a taste of Mexico . I got a feel of Zacatecas vibes after eating the food. The chips are made fresh to order, salsa is homemade. The Jamaica and flan are made in house as well. Brunch buffet every Sunday. Truly authentic food.

Had a girls Sunday brunch here and it was a great experience. The service was great and the there were many food options on the buffet menu. Chilaquiles, menudo, chorizo, chili verde, rice, beans, pan dulce...the list goes on and on. My only suggestion is that the food could be served a little hotter. The owner personally greeted every table. Very friendly staff. The champagne was delicious and the Sunday live music was AMAZING! Grupo Bella, an all female music group that played your traditional mariachi hits as well as contemporary music. They were so good!

Although my surf and turf plate was delicious, there were a few restaurant issues that need to be addressed. Having a bucket to collect condensate water on the ceiling rafters is not safe. The bucket overflowed and was dripping near my seat. Our waitress seemed to have issues with refilling drinks. When asked since our glasses were empty, she threw some attitude back at my coworkers for politely asking since a significant amount of time elapsed. The service could definitely be improved, but it is enough of a deterrent to not want to come back.

Came here with a large party. Chips and salsa was delicious! The guacamole was $10! But I read on Yelp that it was free....guess that's not true. But we didn't opt for the guac. There was only ONE server for the entire restaurant. The hostess helped refill chips and water. I ordered a strawberry blended margarita which was really good and refreshing! But the food took a while to come out which is frustrating when you're hungry. After waiting patiently, the food was just ok.... I ordered the Baja fish tacos, which was just ok. The fish is fried and it wasn't overcooked, but it didn't really have any taste. It came with a cabbage/tomato type slaw which I thought needed more of their chipotle mayo dressing. The "slaw" was on the dry side. The beans and rice was just ok too. The rice was super dry like some other places. The beans had some flavor, but nothing to be impressed by. We brought family that was visiting from out of town and they agreed and weren't impressed....it was just oookkkk. Sadly, we probably won't be returning.

Easter Brunch was so good! Lots of variety that really hit! From enchiladas, tacos, sopes, beans were fantastic! Live entertainment was great. The dining area was spacious and service was excellent. Look forward to coming back

Went on a Friday morning and it wasn't packed. The waiter was cordial and service was good overall. Food was flavorful. I enjoyed the chiles rellenos and the rice was cooked perfectly. The ambience was very Mexican inspired with nice wall décor and rancheras playing. Prices were decent and I'd definitely go back.

The food was 3.5/5 and service was 5/5. Although the food wasn't a perfect score, the service and lively ambiance made up for it. It's a cute place that'll make you feel right at home.

We parked across the street near an intersection with a stop sign. Our table inside had a nice view of the Placentia Water Tower, and it felt somehow relaxing to gaze at it in the distance. I ordered the pork carnitas ($18), which included pico de gallo, rice, refried beans with melted cheese, and three warm tortillas. The portion size was large, and I took a some carnitas home. While the carnitas were tender, they weren't as juicy as I hoped. They provided only three tortillas that lost their warmth quickly in parchment paper. The rice had a good texture that had the right amount of firmness. I also tried the guacamole, which had a somewhat fluffy texture with a pleasantly light and savory flavor. While not affecting my review of this restaurant, I wish they served a mole dish.

We also received some guacamole which we never ordered. WTF???!!!??? couldn't even get our order right. We were just forgotten as the bartender never came around to check anything. This place is terribly managed, and honestly, it's not surprising that most of the other locations have closed. If you want any kind of service, don't sit in the bar area. The food itself was decent, but it doesn't matter much when they can't follow simple requests--or just don't care. This was my last visit. Good luck.
