Really enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant had a cool retro style than what we are typically accustomed to. Our server was pleasant and was able to speak knowledgeably about the menu, making good recommendations. I tried the habanero pork belly breakfast which combined savory and sweet. It wasn't overly spicy, nor too sweet, but was able to fuse both together perfectly to create a nice blend. I've never had jasmine rice for breakfast and this seemed like a weird addition to the plate. Don't knock it till you try it. I was told the trio pancakes were a bit too sweet and smothered in too much syrup. But I can't say I can opine on that opinion myself. My meal was nearly perfect but my sunny side up eggs were cooking just a tad too long as the yolk hardened a bit. This is another "not my 1st time here but 1st time reviewing" reviews. Snooze, as long as the timing works out, is my ritual on my at least once a year sojourn to Old Town Orange. Since I don't go often (because there is no Snooze in L.A.!), everytime there is something new to try. I wanted something healthy yet indulgent. This new whipped cottage cheese toast satisfied my cravings, especially since I'm still in my toast era. I'm avoiding lettuce right now, and so the hash browns were a good substitute - and they are great hash browns, especially with the yellow habenero hot sauce. The toast was pretty good, I've been skeptical of hot honey as a food trend but it worked well with the dates and everything else. A must if you are in the area! read more

Main advice is to join the Yelp waitlist when you're on the way to Snooze. For a Saturday brunch, our wait was around 40 minutes once we checked in at the hostess stand, but it's a good area with other stores to shop in while you wait. We were sat outside and our server was really friendly, maybe as present as we needed sometimes, but that's to be expected with outdoor seating on a busy day. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was solid! It wasn't spectacular, but it hit all the notes I needed it to. The menu has so many options that there's something for everyone and I would come back to try something else out (maybe a breakfast burrito). I also think that some items rotate, which is good to know if you're someone who likes to look at the menu ahead of time. read more

Went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning in July. Super cute inside and lots of seating. I love the round booths! A friend told me to order the "celebration" pancakes, which are pancakes with sprinkles for my kids. They LOVED them! I had the French toast with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. I came on a Sunday and put my name on the waitlist. There was a crowd of people waiting to be seated but I only waited about 15 minutes for a table. Staff were friendly and greeted us as we walked through the door. Server was super helpful as she walked us through the menu and gave us her favorite recommendations. Came here for brunch with a friend and it's been a while that I've had Snooze, but I'm glad I went! There was a 10 minute wait for a table as it was a weekend. The server was super kind and checked in throughout the meal. I got the snooze classic which came with 3 eggs, a choice of protein, hash browns and the choice of either toast or tortilla. I sat at the bar as it was the fastest seating option for a solo diner on a Sunday morning and noticed some interesting things. For one, my "waitress" disappeared and so I was handed off to a new one. My next waitress wasn't very attentive, but she was a little nicer and I could tell she was new. My whole experience was very awkward and left me unimpressed compared to other Snooze locations. I got a "kiss my feet" aura from some of the crew and that left a bad taste in my mouth. My only reason for giving this location a three-star rating is the food and lattes. My breakfast was amazing and my honey oat latte really hit the spot. I sat by a nice gentleman to my right, but we were both a bit out of our element due to the service. The bar/counter is great for a morning game, I got to see some events on the screen while waiting. Overall, the location is huge and has a plenty of room for multiple parties. I spotted an outdoor patio with shaded seating (at least it was shaded while I was there). You'll find this Snooze in Old Towne near Plaza Park. There's paid parking nearby, but it's totally walkable if you live nearby or find a free parking space elsewhere. read more

Really just your standard American brunch/breakfast diner. They have a lot of interesting drinks though! Their always busy as well, but the line moves fast. Food came out quick and no complaints! Superb brunch spot in the City of Orange - I stopped by with an old college buddy yesterday morning. He ordered a decaf coffee, I got my usual matcha latte, then ordered another as it was so good. I wanted to try this place knowing full well that the parking situation isn't the best. We ended up parking around the block, but the walk really wasn't bad at all. I came specifically for the Basil & The Bee Burrata Toast, and it did not disappoint. It's a toasted rustic bread with balsamic date spread, burrata, basil pesto, roasted tomatoes and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. I asked for the toast to be extra crunchy since all the toppings can easily make it soggy, and they were happy to accommodate. The toast leans a little on the sweet side, but overall it was delicious and packed with a lot of great flavors in every bite. We also tried the Garden Harvest Omelet, which was quite good as well. Having the honor eating at the Biltmore corridor location in Phoenix several times, I was very excited to see a Snooze in my neighborhood which I stumbled upon during my last visit to the Orange Circle. I am a fan of Snooze AM Eatery, every time I go there, the staff/service is great, the coffee is strong, and the food is always a hit. Until today when I discovered that "shrinkflation" has entered this establishment. I am so disappointed that they had to do it here. I rather pay a little more to get a regular size portion than to be surprised and feel cheated when our meal came out looking like a kid size portion. The pancake was still good, normal size, but the rest of our meal was smaller than usual. We ordered an omelette, eggs Benedict and the fried rice...all smaller portions than usual. I've given this place a few different tries, but I gotta admit it's just not for me. Loved Snooze!! I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to our server, Kim she was amazing! My friend and I absolutely loved her. She took such great care of us, constantly checking in and helping us decide what to order. I was really unsure at first, but she gave us several great recommendations. We ended up getting the Habanero Pork Belly Fried Rice and Juan's Tacos with chorizo, and both were incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced--not too heavy and they were great plates to share. We also tried the Cinnamon Roll Pancake, which Kim recommended, and wow please don't remove it from the menu! It tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll and was absolutely perfect. Next time, I'd love to sit outside or closer to the windows for more natural light. We sat in the back, which was fine, but the front and window areas are much brighter and really beautiful--just something to keep in mind when you visit. Overall, such a great brunch spot.
