Southern Peach Tea & 1/2 LB Chicken Fried Steak Platter
    Alyssa G.

I came here after I worked in the morning at Disney, and I haven't eaten so I was pretty hungry, but I knew I wanted breakfast. Someone recommended me a huckleberries and so I came. The place was definitely full and I only waited about maybe five minutes to be seated. The staff is very friendly, super sweet and had a great service. The menu was extensive, and it was hard to choose. It definitely wanna go there again to try different things. The ambience was great. It felt like a southern kitchen. The peach tea was absolutely delicious. I would recommend. I got the country fried chicken platter and that was very filling. I took some of that home for lunch/dinner later. They did forget my cornbread which I had to remind them. But other than that, everything was superb

Good spot outside of Disneyland for a large group of people. They have a huge menu of food. I found the food to be very heavy and there's only one salad option. My party did enjoy having breakfast options available throughout the day. The service was very friendly but not very timely. We went at a time when the restaurant wasn't full, so I'm surprised by the long waits (for them to clear the table, to take our order, to check on us throughout the meal).

A fun restaurant during a Disneyland trip. The decor was kitsch but cute, the food was nicely portioned and good, and the servers were very nice. Not the best meals ever, but worthy of a stop back in sometime.

Exactly a year later, I decided to give Huckleberry's another shot. This time I ordered the southern swirl French toast and the mardi gras beignets. The French toast itself was amazing. It was thick, fluffy, and flavorful. The sides were just OK - the hash browns were a little dry with no seasoning, the eggs tasted like whatever it was cooked on/in, and the crispy bacon was barely crispy. The "beignets" aren't really beignets. They're very dense and heavy. It felt like the "beignets" were possibly leftover from whatever else Huckleberry's was baking. They also had ZERO flavor. They were not good at all - worse than what I remembered. The provided accompaniment of sauces couldn't even save them. From last year I remember the food offerings being decent - not good - but I oddly liked how dense the "beignets" were. Not this time. I have a feeling that the third time is not the charm, and I will stay away in the future.

My wife and I came here for breakfast. We had no reservations we just walked in and we were sat right away. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. I had the view of the crocodile which moves from time to time. Waitress was nice but very fast paced she knew what she was doing. I had the country fried steak and my wife had the Cajun Benedict of course we tried each others food and honestly it didn't disappoint!! The food was fresh and flavorful. We will come here again cause we saw the food of others and was like damn that looks good lol. Plus we were seated by the kitchen doors so we saw the food as they came out.

My go to spot to eat breakfast away from Disneyland. They have great food here. Service is friendly. You can take the tram from Disneyland to the parking lot which is across the street from Anaheim Garden. They also do free validation for the first hour. Simple American breakfast with great quality. !! I will go here anytime. Price is consistent, has not changed in a few years.

This place is perfect for brunch before heading to Disney or for a relaxed meal with friends and family. The service was fast and friendly, and our waitress was especially sweet and attentive. I also loved the interior décor--the rustic bayou theme added so much charm to the space. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I ordered the Mississippi with their house-made biscuits, and it was fantastic. The biscuits were warm, fluffy, and incredibly comforting. I also tried their seasonal pumpkin spice latte, which I really enjoyed. Overall, it was a great brunch spot, and I'd happily come back again.

Huckleberry's was an awesome surprise. We were in the area and decided to give it a try. The service was great, from beginning to end. Everyone was very attentive and professional. Great recommendations were given Everything that we ordered was delicious. From the appetizers to our main dish, it was all awesome. The ambiance of Huckleberry's depicted Louisiana, with photos throughout the walls demonstrating the theme. Huckleberry's is an awesome spot for one to visit. Next time you are in the Anaheim (Disneyland) area, this is a great spot to visit.

Hey hey hey, welcome back to EatswithEddie, came down to the Garden walk in @city_of_anaheim to check out @huckleberrysrestaurant . Got a gator lemonade which was good, tried the chicken and waffles which had a nice taste with the siracha aioli drip. Also tried the shrimp poboy sandwich which had a lot of shrimp overall ok place but I probably would t go back I give this place a 5/10

Beignets!!! Not as great as the Nola but a very nice portion. Definitely shareable.

Visiting the great state of California and stopped by this gem. The smells and pictures brought us in. There were so many good choices it was hard to choose. The portions were a great size and the food was good. A southern taste on the west coast. The indoor outdoor set up did leave us exposed to the chilly weather. I will be back to try more things on the menu.

Delicious food and drinks, and the service was fast and friendly. We had a great time visiting with friends from out of town and catching up over good food. The animatronic animals were fun.

Cute little breakfast restaurant that's themed as being in the Bayou. I tried a cup of gumbo soup, it was good needed a little salt and pepper. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and that was yummy. The stacked chicken and waffles was a wonderful variation of flavor you get sweet and savory with the Sriracha aïoli being a nice kick. It was a big sandwich they aren't anal portions. Service was great, had different servers check in to see if things were going well. I definitely want to try more things on the menu here

Haven't been to Huckleberry's for a couple years and my friends invited me to join them for breakfast. Inside still looks the same, cute decor with some Christmas theming. Everything on the menu looked really good but I ended up getting the ribeye and eggs plate. It came with a muffin too which was yummy. Now being totally honest with you I wasn't expecting much from the ribeye. I was actually second guessing myself on ordering it. When it came out I cut into the ribeye and it was very tender and the inside was actually a nice medium rare which I asked for. The flavor was really good too! I was actually shocked at how good it was and for the price it's a no brainer. The service was excellent and everything came out great! We also ordered some beignets to share and they were great! Three different berries on the plate and they were cream filled. Great value and great service as well as tasty food!

Apollo Burger is located off Chapman in the intersection of Garden Grove, Orange, and Anaheim (technically Garden Grove though). There's plenty of parking, but it can get crowded when the lunch or dinner rush hits. The interior has a bunch of seating, and the restaurant is very bright and clean. The staff were all super friendly, and everything was made fresh and quickly. I got a bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger (sub mayo, add pickles and onions), and both were exactly what you'd look for in an old school, diner-type burger. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were all great. I also got a chocolate shake which I would venture to say was one of the best chocolate shakes I've had in recent memory. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich as well, but unfortunately that was quite dry as they used pieces of chicken vs a full cutlet, so I would recommend avoiding that. This is a great burger joint in OC, and I absolutely plan to come back. If you're in the mood for a diner burger, this place is absolutely the spot to visit.

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable.
