I was expecting the usual garlic noodles I get from Asian restaurants, but this had such a unique flavor. Garlicky and cheesy, with some cajun flavors. Was it spicy? Not at all. Maybe they forgot to add the heat, but I was ok with it. The sausage was juicy and flavorful. Portion is large enough that I took 1/2 home for lunch the next day. Husband had their Hawaiian Shrimp Plate. It was supposed to come with pineapples, he didn't get any, and he was fine without them. His mac salad and rice were good. The shrimp unfortunately still had the shells on, which he wasn't expecting, and he wasn't happy about. He hates having to peel shrimp, so he was pretty turned off by this meal. He said he wished it was on the description on the menu, or that the waiter had told him. I tried the shrimp and thought it was good. He said he would never order this dish again. I would definitely get the noodles again, maybe a pound of their peeled/deveined shrimp, and their po'boys sound good too! Finally, service was good, I remember there was even a bottle of bubbly lemon water specifically for washing hands that was super cool and added to the experience. But this one is perfectly in the middle. We ordered 2 pounds of spicy Cajun shrimp with 1 lb of sausage, order of corns (4) and potatoes ( 3 large russet potatoes cut up in pieces). It was 39.00 wow what a deal. We normally order the same thing at boiling crab for about 80.00 and Dodjie (I'm assuming owner/cook) is super nice amazing customer service. They deliver as well near Fullerton Anaheim area minimum of 3 pounds of shrimp must be ordered. Must try!!!

Later, when I came to pick up my food, I spoke with another employee, who offered me an iced green Thai tea to make up for the misunderstanding. While I appreciated the gesture, it didn't really address the issue. If the advertisement was posted in error, just acknowledge the mistake and honor what's being advertised, or correct the signage asap. Customers shouldn't be told 2 different things. The banh mi was okay, but the experience left a bad impression. I won't be returning.
