I'm excited to try all of their soups!
    Heather B.

I wanted to eat caldo de pollo so popped in with one of my kids on a weekday afternoon for lunch. The waitress, I think she said her name was Fatima, was so attentive and friendly. When she asked me if I wanted corn or flour tortillas, I didn't expect that my tortillas were going to be homemade! DELICIOUS! The broth was obviously homemade and it was sooo good! Some places leave their veggies so big that you need a knife to eat your soup and I get that's a normal thing. The veggies and chicken here were big, but not too big, and the chicken was so tender and flavorful! Of course, they brought out the onions, cilantro, rice, and limes with my bowl. The chips were okay, but the salsa was incredible. We also ordered taquitos and they were homemade and had a good amount of meat. I took a picture of their weekly specials because I was excited to see that there is a soup special every day. I'll be definitely returning on Wednesdays because the caldo de pollo was so good. Also, this is such a noticeably clean restaurant! There isn't a speck of dust anywhere; not even on the ceiling fans and artwork! You won't be sorry you visited!

Service is great and welcoming. Unfortunately, that can only go so far. I have tried the many Mexican Food places in Fullerton including their neighbor El Farlito. It's walking distance and preferred over this place. The salsa, which should add to the dish, only adds a weird taste. It tastes as if it had been left open in a refrigerator and taken on the many other smells that are in that refrigerator. Which it was! It was in a big container without a lid. 0/10 The beans, tasted rotten. Not like typical beans or how they should taste. 0/10 Crispy chicken taco, 7.5/10. Not bad, tasty but the lettuce was turning brown so did not taste well all together. I ended up taking the lettuce out and just ate the chicken and shell again without salsa... Rice is cooked well. Could have a little more flavor 6/10

Stop by and was craving tacos . This place hit the spot. I knew it was going to be great from the moment I had the chip and salsa. Salsa was fresh with the right amount of spice and it's refreshing to the palate. Tacos was great but the chile rellenos took me home . So comfy and good .

This place is AMAZING. I came here with a group of 4 people and we were treated so kindly by the waitress Fatima, not to mention the food is outstanding!! Taco Tuesday is 1.75 per taco, such a good deal. The micheladas are the best!!!! Thanks for everything.

Thursday night in Downtown Placentia 8:22pm. Place is a ghost town. Maybe it's because we're close to closing time at 9pm. Owner/cook is just chillin watching Swamp people on the TV. Ok. He greets us and says we can sit anywhere we like. We're greeted by the waitress, our order was taken and we were given some excellent salsa and chips. My wife and I order carne asada fries, 2 birria tacos, 2 tacos de pollo and one quesadilla. The portions on carne asada fries were huge! But the fries were dry and somewhat rubbery. Don't know if the fries were cooked long enough. Good flavor though. Quesadilla was a significant size, but lacked flavor. Yes, a quesadilla is just tortilla and cheese but it makes a difference on what type of cheese is used. The tacos, (birria) had good flavor profile and looked carefully manicured. Portions were a bit on the small side for the price. ($1.65 for the basic tortilla and $2.25 for hand made tortilla). I guess I'm just used to the normal overstuffed tacos with the meat, cilantro and onions hanging over the side of the tortilla. All in all it's fair. Maybe we need to come at a different time instead of 30-40 min before closing time. Wouldn't go out of my way to make it here, but if I'm in the area I might give it a try again.

Great Atmosphere, the Waitress here is very nice and loves to create conversations with you The Enchiladas were tasty with the beans and rice The Sauce on here was delicious and made the whole plate come together Definitely want to come here again and look around the Downtown area.

But now I don't live near fullerton so I thought I would check it out the next time I was close by. I finally got around to it on a weekend afternoon and immediately I loved the vibe. They do a great job placing you in a comfortable spot with the nostalgic furniture, the sports memorabilia, the local news article clippings. The bartender met me w a greeting as I walked in and quickly I found out he would be the host, waiter, bartender, and busser. I never had an empty glass of beer because he never allowed me to have one, the food came out piping hot, and it was easy to pay the check right away and all done by the same guy! So besides the nice vibe and great service they had some very good bbq and side dishes. The chicken and the pork ribs were solid choices. Both moist and tender and glazed with a really nice bbq sauce. I will definitely be here again when I am in the area again.

The first time, I came for the Monday night burger and beer special for $10.95 after 4pm. The burger was very good with a nice sized patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a wheat bun. The beer pour isn't just a glass, it's larger-sized schooner. Specialty beers on tap are an extra $2. The burger doesn't come with a side, but a tasty burger and a large beer for under $11 is a great deal. The following week, I came back for the Tuesday night BBQ special. Their BBQ chicken and ribs dinners are 30% off, and come with two sides and a fresh dinner roll. I got the full slab of ribs which was only $21 after discount. They definitely do not skimp on the ribs, as the plate came with two large half slabs stacked on top of each other. The ribs were cooked well, and the BBQ sauce had a good mix of tang and sweetness. I had coleslaw and fries for my sides. The other options for sides are Beckett's beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, and pasta salad. A half slab and the fries filled me up, and I took the other half and the coleslaw home. This is also a great deal for only $21. Other special days include Wednesday $3.50 schooner night from 5pm to 7pm, Friday night $10.95 fish taco plate, and Saturday and Sunday breakfast specials from 10am to noon. They have a pool table, darts, and many TVs with various sports playing. Service was timely and friendly.

This is one of my favorite places to come in Fullerton with friends, or to bring my wife on a date…read more Their patio is dog friendly, which is nice for pet owners. Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

Pour Company has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. I typically dine here at…read moreleast once a week because the food is consistently delicious, and when I visit in the evenings and sit in Mario's section, the service is always exceptional. Unfortunately, my experiences during the day have been the complete opposite, and both involved the same server, Tania B. The first incident occurred when I ordered my usual meal: the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare with the mushroom peppercorn gravy. When my meal arrived without mushrooms, I politely mentioned that it normally comes with them. Rather than checking with the kitchen or simply explaining the dish, Tania immediately insisted that it had never included mushrooms. I even asked if the recipe had recently changed because I had been there the previous week and it was served with mushrooms. She walked away, returned with a menu, tossed it on the table, and said, "It doesn't say mushrooms." Her tone and attitude were unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional. Ironically, when I returned another evening and ordered the exact same dish, it was served with mushrooms. Today (7/31/26), I returned for lunch and, unfortunately, Tania was my server again. I ordered the Steak Frites medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium-well or well done. I politely explained that it wasn't cooked as ordered. She took the plate back, returned a few minutes later, and told me, "That's how it's going to be. Take it or leave it. The chef is the owner, and that's his message." I mentioned that last time she told me it didn't come with mushrooms and clearly there's mushrooms on my dish. She responds with, well sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. I'm like so inconsistency is a thing here? She replies with if that's how you want to see it. I asked if I could speak with the owner directly, and she responded that he was "too busy making food" and refused to let me speak with him. My friend and I paid for the rest of our meal and were preparing to leave when I noticed another employee in the kitchen. I asked if he was the owner, and he explained that he wasn't and that the owner was actually downstairs. I simply asked if I could have Nick's phone number or email so I could share my concerns. The employee kindly said he would see what he could do. While we waited, Tania approached us multiple times in a confrontational manner instead of allowing us to wait peacefully. Rather than focusing on the guests seated at her bar, she seemed more interested in arguing with customers who had legitimate concerns. Throughout both visits, she displayed poor customer service, responded with attitude when simple requests were made (even something as basic as asking for a side of ranch seemed to annoy her), dismissed concerns instead of trying to resolve them, and escalated situations that could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant itself is excellent. The food is consistently great, and Mario provides some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. Unfortunately, one employee can dramatically impact an otherwise outstanding restaurant. If Tania is, in fact, a manager as I was told, it's concerning. A manager should be setting the standard for hospitality, resolving guest concerns professionally, and de-escalating situations--not arguing with customers or making them feel unwelcome. I truly hope ownership addresses this because Pour Company deserves better representation than what I experienced. I would love to continue supporting this restaurant, but I will be avoiding daytime visits as long as this level of service continues.
