I have been coming here for a couple of months now. Every Saturday I'm at The Swig (use to come here a couple of years ago with my cousin and his wife). I just want to say that Jane and Candice are just beyond awesome! I walk in and they already know that I get a Pacifico with Tajin rim and my mozzy sticks. The food is delicious! The cheese quesadilla with chicken I can't even describe how amazing it taste. The mozzy sticks have serious cheese pull! I recently had the philly sandwich and I can't wait to have it again. I was in the area for work staying at the Springhill suites just .3 miles down the street and looking for a place to get dinner with my coworker. They're not a lot of options in the immediate area so we thought we'd give The Swig bar a shot. When we walked in, I was a bit unsure if we made the right call but very soon we realized we made the right decision. We sat at the bar and our server Sierra was very friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, the food was VERY good. I had an awesome meatball sub sandwich and my buddy had a terrific burger. A few notes: Yes the music may be one notch too loud, there is only beer no liquor, the Swig closes at 10 PM , and the servers are wearing G string bikinis. Place is a bikini bar - literally. This concept was a thing years ago, but seems a little outdated today. No reason to have a cute, half naked girl serving you drinks in 2025. The Swinging Door & The Salty Dog are pulling off a similar concept while allowing their staff to keep their dignity. Worth considering catching up with the times. read more

This review is beyond late! But I will only say I came here because they were the St patty's tater tots with pulled pork and booooyyyyy!!!!! was I happy I did. It was so delicious, the pulled pork was very tender and it had great seasoning. This dish was combined of tater tots, pulled pork, sour cream, pico de gallo and jalapeños. All together was an explosion of flavor on every bite. Let me say that while I was waiting for my food I got an ice cold beer. This is the only place that has ice cold beers. Don't believe me? At first glance it looked like any other bar and grill but once I stepped in I was blown away by the chill vibes given off by this hidden gem. She was obnoxious and annoying. She should focus less on her surgical procedures and more on being a decent bartender. Great bar, with good food. It's clean, it's busy, everyone seems like they are in a good mood, and there is free flowing beer. First, the location - you will need to carefully find this place the first time you visit, as it's in a commercial/industrial part of town. Plenty of free parking in their lot, though. This venue does a lot with a small kitchen, you'll find great burgers, and many other options to pair with your beers. Speaking of beers, they have them on tap and in the bottle, with many brands available, domestic and imported. It's basically a sports bar with a kitchen. It would be easy to open a bikini bar and make it only about the girls, like every other bikini bar. Instead, the owners invested in a quality menu with good cooks, flat screen tv's that can be viewed from anywhere in the bar, a digital jukebox, and a decent selection of beer (no hard booze here, just beer and wine). It paid off, as there's a good vibe here. The girls are friendly, there's always music playing, and the place is clean (not divey at all). If you like to play pool, they do have a table, but it's not a bar that caters to serious pool players. All things considered, I would rate The Swig Bar as one of the best bikini bars in LA/OC. I really hate to write this, but the Swig was my favorite sports bar for many years. I heard that it had recently sold, and I wanted to give it a try under the new ownership. Unfortunately, it is nothing like it was before in the cleanliness department. I would not recommend this establishment. I ordered a club sandwich and side salad and sat near the beer tap area on the bar top. I watched as the chef, without any gloves, ate his lunch in the kitchen with his bare hands. He then used the same hands to prepare my side salad and build the club sandwich. I observed him wipe his hands on his uniform shirt several times in the process, and then return to eating his food. I later visited the men's restroom and found that there was no hand soap in the dispenser, and no paper towels to dry off. I understand how difficult Covid has been on these restaurants and finding good, qualified help is very difficult today, but this lack of training and adherence basic food handling practices is unacceptable. The Swig Bar is mom & pop owned sports bar that sits in the middle of the industrial block of Fender in Fullerton. I don't recall seeing any hard alcohol being offered, just beers. Although I mainly went there looking for a burger. One of the guys at work told me that they have pretty good burgers, fries and hotdogs. The burger that I got was a tad bit better than a decent house made burger, nothing spectacular. And the fries are plain and plentiful. The 7$ that you pay for the combo looks like: 4$ for 4 lbs of fries and 3$ for the burger. In my onion, there could be some improvement to the portion to cost equation. Beer: A small but decent selections on tap. About 6-8 choices (?). Sierra was 4$ a pint. That's a very good deal. The have what looks like 24oz ultras and I'm definitely going back for a couple off those. So why the 4 stars? 1) Great service from the owners and bartender. 2) Atmosphere: Laid back, blue collar, country music blaring, sports being played in the flat-screens over the bar setting. 3) I love and always support mom&pops business. 4) Location: Where most people won't go. read more
