Wow!! I have been coming here for a few years now and even twice on St Patrick's Day over the years. Today however was a Shity experience, got there around 12:20 or so for lunch and it wasn't too busy for aTuesday however there was only one employee for about 15-18 customers. She was very busy taking orders and making drinks for everyone in addition to leaving the Bar area to go to the kitchen so it took 5-7 minutes before she even came over to take my order. I ordered a Bowl of Irish Stew and a beer. The Stew is made way before Customers even get there for lunch so in theory it could take 1-minute to pour a Beer and maybe less than 5-minutes to scoop up a bowl of stew and bread. I started my stop watch shortly after placing my order and after 25-minutes I asked the bartender, "can you please check on my order" she came back a few minutes later and said that it's almost ready. I was extremely pissed as the other customer a few seats down from at the bar already had is Hamburger & Fries even though he came in about 5-minutes after I did. At that point I said I have to go now, without even having anything to eat for lunch. I got the bill minus the Irish Stew and for some reason I still gave her a $4 tip for the beer, in Hindsight I should "Not" have given any tip since she Never even checked on my food until I asked her too. I blame her a little for the Bad service but I also blame Management/Owner. I'm positive that mgmt is trying to save money in this economy however that's Not My Problem. Mickeys will lose lots of money because of very Slow/Poor Service, how many customers never ever come back for that reason?? Management's stupidity is going to cost them losing regular customers, see our time is Extremely important as most of us have jobs to get back to and other places to be so the crappy service is not only upsetting customers but also making them Late Too. Very Disappointed!!! Server #400 4

My husband and I were doing a pub crawl during the Kentucky Derby. It gave us a reason to finally stop in here. We had lovely drinks and the bartenders were friendly. We want to come back and try the food next time. Its a lively spot. We will be back.

Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambiance: 5 We were in the area and stumbled upon this place... and glad we did! The ambiance was fun and lively! We came on a weekend right before the rush of dinner and there was a steady stream of patrons.. We sat right by the open window so it was fun to people watch as we ate our meal. We ordered barbecue, fish and chips (sooooo yum!) and the Irish coffee (iced). We enjoyed the food, drinks, vibe and service

Just looking for a chill place to get a quick bite and stumbled upon Mickey's. I'm always down for an Irish pub, but this one was really nice. They have an open air counter in the back so you can people watch. Also lots of wood everywhere, which I like. And TVs for watching all the sports. Our waitress was very attentive and brought our beers and waters out quickly. Food also didn't take that long. I had wings and my husband had a burger. We both had coleslaw as our side. I honestly think those were some of the best wings I've ever had. Just slathered in sauce the way I like it. The sauce was really good, too. All the food tasted great. For bar food, this was definitely an excellent choice. I'll be back!

In the last year, this has definitely become one of my regular stops in my rotation. They not only have a great happy hour, but their food is great. The staff is lovely and it's got that great Pub vibe that keeps you wanting to come back. Anna is the best!!!This time we went in for Monday's half-price burgers and what can I say that deal can't be beat run don't walk before it's gone.

I have visited this pub a few times specifically for their Irish coffee. If ever craving an authentic delicious Irish coffee with the cream foam this is the place. Truly reminds me of the Buena Vista my favorite spot in San Francisco. This local spot gets it right!

Back again! Joined their themed trivia last night which was Mean Girls. Another amazing visit - even met the owner this time. Like last time, delicious food and drinks, fun and lively environment and the best service all around! Trevor helped us again and also was just as fun as last time. Love this place and continue to rave and suggest to my friends they must visit. Thank you Mickey's for being such an awesome spot! I know I'm going to have a good time when I visit.

Egg Rolls with corn beef. Get this too. It's really good.

Some places sit in the back of your mind for years…read more I first came to Macallan Public House more than a decade ago on a date and always intended to return. Life happened, years passed, and somehow I never made it back. Fast forward to today: I was driving my Tesla, jokingly asked Grok to take me somewhere for a beer, and it pointed me right back here. Walking in felt like revisiting a place that had been quietly waiting in the background of my story. The centerpiece is still the incredible bar. Shelves stacked floor to ceiling with whiskey bottles, glowing green tile behind the taps, warm lighting, and enough character that you can spend half your time simply looking around. It's the kind of room that feels both energetic and comfortable at the same time. I grabbed a seat at the bar, watched a soccer match on the TVs, and ordered an Old Fashioned. It arrived exactly the way I hoped it would: large clear ice cube, generous orange peel, balanced and smooth without trying too hard. Just a well-made classic cocktail. What stood out most was the atmosphere. These days I'm much more likely to be exploring hiking trails, photographing wildflowers, or driving mountain roads than spending time in bars. Twelve years ago, places like this were a much more regular part of my life. Coming back reminded me why I enjoyed them in the first place. Good conversation, a comfortable seat, a quality drink, and no rush to be anywhere else. The beer taps looked extensive, the whiskey selection seemed endless, and the entire place struck a balance between neighborhood pub and whiskey destination. Funny how a random AI navigation suggestion brought me back to a place I'd been meaning to revisit for over a decade. Glad it finally did. 5 stars.

My family and I decided to visit for the first time for British cuisine. It's not a far departure…read morefrom foods of other cultures around the locality, but you'll notice differences between British and American English, for example. Many of their dishes include chips, which during my visit, resembled steak fries due to their thickness. You'll also see that curry is a signature dish in the menu, which reflects how Anglo-Indian cuisine has maintained popular influence in the United Kingdom. I ordered Cutty Sark's curry with chicken, rice, and chips at medium spice. The name is derived from a British merchant vessel that operated during the late 1800s. The curry had a mix of savory and sweet flavors, which reminded me of both Japanese and Indian cuisines at the same time. I couldn't say with certainty that the curry fit into just one cuisine. Packed with some heat and bold in spice, it's a delightful and large dish if you desire a lot of flavor. Where the curry went a little off course was the addition of celery. The petiole is strongly flavored and distracts from the curry in my perhaps controversial opinion. Curry seems to better mix with potatoes and carrots. I tried some of the bacon sarnie as well. The word "sarnie" is an affectionate diminutive for "sandwich." American bacon usually comes from pork belly, which provides a flavorful yet oily crispiness. However, the British variant usually comes from the loin, which is meatier and leaner. I thought of the bacon here as similar to a savory ham. The sarnie bread is fried in fat to emphasize buttery flavor. The restaurant, filled with English decorations, has the style of a cozy and dim pub. There's a good amount of small wooden booths with cracked leather seating. Our server was really nice and made sure we got everything we needed despite the busyness of the restaurant. For example, my curry came with a chutney, and I had asked for a lid to take it home. While I forgot to take the chutney home, she went outside as she noticed that we took the back exit to look at their double-decker bus. She even offered to take a picture of us. The service deserves a lot of kudos, and we were grateful for her consideration.

However, after our experience last weekend, I don't know if I'll be returning any time soon. We went to celebrate Father's Day and my birthday and we're seated quickly. While the restaurant wasn't terribly crowded, the service was awful. The blonde waitress with the British accent was very rude and yelled at my son's (15, 18, and 21) which they later said made then feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The service was very slow and we only had one water refill, despite asking repeatedly, in almost 3 hours. They were also out of multiple items including scotch eggs, sausage rolls, steak and ale pies, and sticky coffee pudding (they only had two). We never received our scotch eggs and sausage rolls and it wasn't until I asked about them after the entrees came that I was told they had run out. And we were never told that the beef wellington, which we ordered in place of the steak and ale pies that they had run out of, was almost $20 more than the steak and ale pies. Then, the bill came and the scotch eggs and sausage rolls were still on the bill, which I failed to notice at the time, so we had to return and ask for a credit for those two items. This was the worst experience we've had at this restaurant. We've had the blonde waitress before and she can be abrupt but this time, she crossed the line into being downright rude and we all felt unwelcome as a result. And to receive the treatment and have this many issues while celebrating special family events was disappointing. I'm not sure if and when I'll be back after the poor treatment we received which is a shame because I do love their food.
