Came here with group of friend. It's decent bar lots of selections beer + spirit and plenty of games which was plus. Not a lot of IPA choices though, I ended up settling with space dust. The place is smaller than i thought and there only one restroom per gender. The service was great and the staff was really nice. They also have happy later in the night which awesome. The only thing was that table were messy and there are no trash cans. The tables were littered with bottles, glasses, and pizza boxes. We had to move aside pizza boxes and bottles to get a table. The staff didn't bother coming by to clear up the table at any point through the night which was really weird. The parking lot is pretty big but then again at night only the bar and liquor store are open in that shopping center. read more

Day drinking in Brea,California... We originally wanted to visit Shady Nook for an hour of karaoke, but we ended up just chatting, having soft drinks, and munching on complimentary popcorn! We didn't want to disturb the other customers with our singing... haha! We could have played pinball or billiards, but we just wanted to hang out together and enjoy the calm, air-conditioned environment at opening time. We didn't have a reservation. We were the first customers of the day. Diane was our friendly server/bartender. She was cheerful and made us feel welcomed. I admired her for opening up the shop, taking our orders, paying attention to each patron, serving everyone, and cleaning up after us! She's amazing! I think we should return on karaoke night... then we can blend in... haha! We also would take another photo at the Photo Booth... and get our picture via email! read more

Came here with some friends, I never been here before what a cool place. It's close by this liquor store we used to stop in sometimes to get lotto tickets lol i never knew this place existed! It's pretty big inside, they have lots of seats and tables and pool tables to play and games even karaoke my favorite lol! Although we didn't end up singing, I hope that next time we do! We had a blast, we ordered soda's and we got some free popcorn. It was pretty busy for during the day, the employee's were super friendly and nice. The parking lot is pretty big. Located off Kraemer Bl in Brea. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the plaza. Stopped by here to hang out with some Yelp friends before meeting up with more Yelp friends. This bar is pretty nice has two pool tables , a pinball machine and they also do Karaoke but we didn't see when that happens probably a night thing. They have TVs all around as well. The bartender Diane was really nice and friendly. We just got non-alcoholic drinks and some popcorn. Overall a nice bar to hang out at. read more

One of my fav sports bars in Brea next to a delicious Italian restaurant. Happy Hour specials are the best and the staff are so friendly.

Bruce is a regular and he came up to my sister and said I put this song on and my sister said no my sister did and he looked at her in the eyes and twisted her wrist and said no I did and then we told the bartender and a calmly matter and the bartenders that I spoke to him, but I believe she did not because he was still there when we left and when I was trying to defend myself people were looking at me like I was in the wrong. I believe that he should no longer go to that bar because he made my sister feel unsafe and to and how dare a grown man put his hand on anyone especially a young lady who did nothing wrong simply there to play darts with her mom and sister it just because you're a regular it gives you no right to do anything like that and I believe the bartender and possibly the owner needs to be talked to or the places should be shut down read more

Very clean upscale dive bar. The bartenders are very nice and they even make delicious cocktails.

Weakest drinks in town. If you do come here, stick to beer. Otherwise you're just wasting your money. I think I walked out of there more sober than when I walked in. read more

Only reason why this place is getting a 2 is because it was super hot inside.... I noticed the air was set to 78 degrees... With about 35 ppl inside. I asked bartender any way we could open door are turn air down. She said sorry but she couldn't. A customer chime in and said new owner has it set. Well unfortunately I I can't leave because I of pool league. So am outside where it's about 84 but still feels better. Switching out with my teammate so he doesn't melt. So want to add. The bartenders did try to work on air brought out a fan Didn't work went 85 owner came still no solution. I've been there twice in the last two weeks. Both times I could see the patrons looking at me as if I didn't belong. I'm Latino and have dark skin but I don't don't speak Spanish. I think the people next to me were surprised that when I placed my order I didn't have an accent. I tried to be friendly and engage in conversation but got the cold shoulder. The beer was good and the bartenders where friendly and accommodating. Both times there, I was the only person of color.
