I met my date for lunch at the Treehouse. Loriel was very attentive and asked if I wanted something to drink. I was tempted to order a cocktail or beer but I decided to wait. I also had signed up for their discount program which offers a discount on golf food and beverage. I had the BBQ burger and onion rings and my companion had the fish tacos. The taco tray was loaded with three fish tacos on a white soft corn tortilla. I was lucky enough to be offered the last taco. The battered fish was great as well as the pico de gallo. Very tasty. My burger and onion rings were fantastic as well. I'd order either of them again. Next time I'll have a cocktail or a craft beer with my food. After my date took off, I came back to hit a large bucket ($14) at the range. With membership, it was 50% off, down to $7. The mats looked fairly new and the range balls were a mix of old and new golf balls. They also pipe in classic rock over their speaker system which was great. The Brea annual membership is $100 but I think I can recoup that in no time. The renewal is $80. So year two of the membership would be well worth it. Don't forget to check in on Yelp, 10% discount was offered on the check in deal.

Great food. Relaxing atmosphere Nice view. Burgers are very good. Fries and sweet potato fries delicious. Alcoholic beverages very reasonably priced. There's always a drink special. Service is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and wish more people would try this place as it's not crowded. Try it !

Surprise! Another 5-star, Taco Tuesday, evening, at Treehouse! This time we had a server by the name of Jackie! WOW! She is a valuable asset. We had a group of 4 out back by the fire pit. She was often checking on us before taco plates were emptied and beer glasses had gone dry. She remembered all of our orders correctly and who ordered them. Please keep her scheduled on Tuesdays! Lol. We keep falling in love with this place, over and over.

Lots of beers!!!!! For every type of beer fan. Also coors light draft is only $4 for happy hour

Awesome bar! A co worker reccomended this bar to me, as she knows I love live music. We ate here last night and heard the Hills Trio Band for the summer concert series. The bar has a beautiful open feel and the prices are great, given that this is at a golf course. The happy hour prices were top notch, I had one rum and soda water, and one glass of Mondavi cab. After happy hour, the Mondavi is only $5, soooo I had a few more glasses. The place gets packed, so I reccomend arriving at least 30 min before the band starts to get good seating. The crowd is older, id say 50 and up. However, my husband and I are in our 30s and 40s and consider ourselves old souls. We loved the vibe and the music. I ordered the hot dog with fruit. Very delicious and served on a pretzel bun. My husband ordered the cheeseburger with fries, and that meal was also delicious. We also split a cheese quesadilla appetizer, because we are big fans of ortega chilies. The quesadilla is loaded with plenty of yummy chilies. Overall, we can't wait to go back. We have added this place to our rotation of hangouts!!

Baja fish tacos, turkey avocado, and fried green beans!

There was live music, which was a really nice surprise! A pianist and a singer. We shared flash fried peppers and warmed mixed nuts. The peppers needed a little more salt, and I was able to get more salt fairly quickly from the staff. They had a decent selection of wine, and the vodka martini I had was nice. I think it's a lovely place to stop by for pre-dinner drinks (i think they had a full menu of heavier foods, not just appetizers if you're wanting something more filling), or after dinner drinks. It's also right by the movie theater, so probably nice for that as well I probably don't need to list all the occasions a drink could be had, hahaha. Life happened, years passed, and somehow I never made it back. Fast forward to today: I was driving my Tesla, jokingly asked Grok to take me somewhere for a beer, and it pointed me right back here. Walking in felt like revisiting a place that had been quietly waiting in the background of my story. The centerpiece is still the incredible bar. Shelves stacked floor to ceiling with whiskey bottles, glowing green tile behind the taps, warm lighting, and enough character that you can spend half your time simply looking around. It's the kind of room that feels both energetic and comfortable at the same time. I grabbed a seat at the bar, watched a soccer match on the TVs, and ordered an Old Fashioned. It arrived exactly the way I hoped it would: large clear ice cube, generous orange peel, balanced and smooth without trying too hard. Just a well-made classic cocktail. What stood out most was the atmosphere. These days I'm much more likely to be exploring hiking trails, photographing wildflowers, or driving mountain roads than spending time in bars. Twelve years ago, places like this were a much more regular part of my life. Coming back reminded me why I enjoyed them in the first place. Good conversation, a comfortable seat, a quality drink, and no rush to be anywhere else. The beer taps looked extensive, the whiskey selection seemed endless, and the entire place struck a balance between neighborhood pub and whiskey destination. Funny how a random AI navigation suggestion brought me back to a place I'd been meaning to revisit for over a decade. Glad it finally did. 5 stars.

Never had an issue here service wise. Wednesday nights are always a fun night here with food, singing, and dancing!

We decided to give it a shot because the menus and pics I was seeing on Yelp looked good. I feel deceived y'all!!! This spot was hyped up as another "Tempo" and I was hoping for a less loud, club-like vibe with good food and drinks. Apparently, they changed owners AGAIN just a few months ago. All of the legit Mexican items- gone! I was really bummed because Orange County really doesn't need yet another mediocre attempt at a vibey sushi spot that serves WARM FISH. * The bartender was great! I honestly felt horrible for the staff. They open at 3:00, and I came in at 4:00 to a literal graveyard. I really hope the guys who waited on us get out fast before this place goes down. I know their tips are probably not even $20/a day. * The sushi items were all warm. I got nauseous within the hour after consuming them. * By 5:00 only one other table had arrived and they were also shocked at the massive disappointment so they spent their time waiting for cocktails, on their phones trying to make arrangements to go to another restaurant. So within two hours, they had two tables. * Yelp is deceiving- their reviews are mostly for the old place. Their menu is a disaster right now. There's limited sushi, brisket sandwich, wings, and other weird hodgepodge selections of oddities. The interior is almost exactly the same as Taps. They kept all of the furniture and decor. Maybe this should be a tear down and star over. It's really sad because we could use an old school Mexican restaurant with mariachi's and Sunday champagne buffet brunch. Just look at how El Torito Grill in Brea kills it on Sundays. Taps used to kill it on Sundays too. Where are the smart investors?! Come save this spot!
