My sister picked up two large pizzas and they were absolutely delicious I asked for light sauce and light crust, this is how it was delivered. Getting a refund was not a problem , but I was really disappointed

A friend and I were in the mood for pizza, and didn't want to drive far. I've DoorDashed from Craftsman a few times before and enjoyed it. I've never actually dined at the restaurant, so we decided to go and give it a try. They are located in the Placentia Town Center right next to CVS, with plenty of parking available. They have a good sized dining area with a mix of tables and booths. They also have a bar area with four big screens against the wall, and a few other TVs throughout the dining area. They also have a small outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. We sat in a comfy booth across from the bar, and it was a nice surprise that they had a college hockey championship game and the Olympics on. They have a good selection of beer taps. I ordered a pint of the Firestone Orange Hefeweizen ($9.50), and my friend had the Stereo Robot Red Ale ($9.50) and were both great. The glasses looked nice with the Craftsman logo on them. They also have a good wine list with some great selections like Belle Glos and Doau. The drink menu also has a nice selection of over a dozen cocktails. They have a big selection of around two dozen signature wood fired pizzas available in 10" or 14" sizes. We decided to keep it simple and share a 14" The Graduate (pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onions, roasted peppers, olives, and mozzarella ($22.75). The pizza came out timely, and is served on a raised stand. The crust had a nice thin to medium thickness and held the toppings well. It had a good amount of toppings and was delicious. This was the perfect size for two people, and we were both stuffed when it was all gone. In addition to a big list of interesting pizzas, they also have a big selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Our server Mikayla was very friendly, and checked on us often. The pizza, beer, and service were all great. A very filling pizza and two pints for $45 before tip is a great deal. They have a happy hour weekdays, and drink specials Monday through Thursday. We will definitely return soon.

I finally checked out Craftsman Woodfire Pizza. The vibe is cool, though it can get a bit noisy inside when the dinner rush hits, so be prepared for a loud atmosphere. The Food & Service Korean Bulgogi BBQ Pizza: This was the highlight! The savory marinated beef and wood-fired crust were a great combo. Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread: Honestly, this was way too sweet for me. The fig flavor was a bit overwhelming, so if you aren't into super sweet-and-savory mixes, I'd skip this one. Service: The service was decent--attentive enough, though they were definitely staying busy with the crowd. Happy Hour Heads-Up __Mon-Friday, 3-6pm__ They have a good Happy Hour deal with $2 off appetizers, house draft, wine & well drinks.

Def not any where near well done

I had some issues in the past with my to go orders but it's been awhile so I thought I'd give them another chance. Another disappointment!! I ordered a well done burger. Maybe, maybe I could say it's medium.... I didn't have the time or patience to drive back or call to talk about it and still have to remedy myself in the Microwave. So my would be barely cooked burger went in the microwave. If I wanted that kinda burger I could have gone to some cheap place.

Great dinner. Everything tasty and fresh. The wings were amazing. Crispy. Juicy. BBQ sauce was tasty. Not too salty. Must ger. Crispy zucchini was great. Good mix of crispy and the tenderness of the zucchini. The Super was tasty. Not too salty. The crust was a bit soft but it was good. Service was excellent. Plenty of parking in a dedicated lot.

Harvest salad

A great spot to try something new. Tasty salads. Had the Harvest and really enjoyed every bite. Dark greens, pears, candied walnuts, and cranberries with a super good vinegarette. Great pizzas. Eclectic menu. And they have live music and half off wine on Wednesdays. Love the service. A big shout out to Reece. Super friendly and knows the menu. I appreciate the value of the food. Great for families and dates a like.

Another special Placentia place, with this one being the last place we had a family meal before my dad passed away. Deliciousness and comfort food, yes pizzas, but also lots of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salad. Small but good selection of beers, great bar seating and both indoor and outdoor seating options. I only just learned that I can turn any salad into a wrap, which makes me happy. The veggie pesto pizza and the harvest salad also make me happy... I could drink a pint of that brown sugar vinegarette. Sometimes they have live music and the one time I made it, the singer was Aaaamazing! I would say the service is great 95% of the time, with any hiccups likely due to a full house, popular place, so be patient and enjoy your company. Support Local!!

Fire-Roasted Bruschetta

I will be back for sure to this place for the food and their kindness! They really had a good way of customer service by understanding what my friends did that night & it was always amazed me how the hospitality for my table was so amazing! It was only 3 of us and we ordered the vegan pizza from the menu, which was the Margherita; it was so good, the dough was soft, though its veg pizza but the taste was bomb!!!! The taste really rocks the veggie, I am actually not a vegetarian but my other 2 friends are veg. So for me, my taste bud for sure never lies! It's one of the best veg pizza ever! The bruschetta was also the star of the night! It was worth the price and these dish are the Main reason I won't hesitate to come back again and hopefully next time I won't trouble the staff since they are so kind to us! The restaurant maybe small but the food and the live music they have on Saturday night is best!!! For sure tip them well! They deserve the good appreciation for their great hospitality!

I am bumping my 4 stars to a solid 5. Over the years, this has become one of our favorite spots. We eat here about once a month. I love the Valedictorian pizza and the BBQ chicken. I also love to create my own with ham and olives. The spinach dip with tortilla chips is a fantastic starter. The wings are also wonderful. We love the happy hour specials and wine Wednesday. You can also bring in your own wine for a corkage fee, which we do on many Fridays. When we bring my grandpa, we sit at a table or booth. When its just my husband and I, we prefer a bar top. You really cannot go wrong here.

I love this place! They have a lot of different types of pizzas. Ones I have never heard of before. We ordered the Korean bbq pizza. It was super good! I love arugula and it had tons of it. The beef was flavorful. Just enough spice to it without killing you with heat. Definitely ordering this again! We ordered an old-fashioned and a ginger mint paloma. I love palomas and it's usually my go to. This is the best paloma I have tasted. I have never had a ginger mint paloma before and now I will be looking for it at other restaurants. Cheers to the bartender! I also tried their pomegranate margarita. It was okay but definitely get the ginger mint paloma! For dessert we had the sizzling apple pie! I love how it sizzles! Sooooo good! Just enough sweetness without the overkill! Service was excellent! Tons of TV screens for games! Definitely will be returning!!!

Live Musician!
Thomas T.

Decided to come sit at the bar to grab a pizza and listen to some live music. First off. Love the bar. Lots of seating, great alcohol selection, cool bartender Veronica. She had a lot people and tables. Sat right next to the musician that was playing live music. He really was energizing the night up! Didn't drink tonight but decided to get a pizza and it was good. I've had better. But still good. Wood fire Pepperoni, Sausage and Ham pizza. I would recommend this pizza. Definitely want to try the other pizzas as well. They all look so good! This restaurant is also super clean, lively and modern looking. Very simple yet lively place. Will definitely be back to try the other

Went on a Thursday, I believe it was half off beers? They have a deal weekdays, and then live music on Saturday. Anyways the pizza was my favorite. Had feta, fig, arugula, and prosciutto, everything on that dough balanced each other out perfectly. Our server was so sweet and fast to get out order in and to keep the beers coming!

Was shopping nearby and stopped in for some pizza. I got the pepperoni pizza and also tried the pulled pork flautas. Both were good, I enjoyed the pizza. Service was good and I got my food quickly as well.

Ask the Community - Craftsman Wood Fired Pizza

Do they take reservations for a larger party?

To my knowledge they don't but i have called ahead to let them know i had a party of 12 coming and I know they appreciated that.

Thanks for your response, Joe! Couple of questions: 1) How many calories are in your lowest calorie pizza crust?…

We don’t have a calorie profile set up for our menu. I would be more than happy to give you information on specific menu items. Joe.

Is there a full bar or just wine and beer?

The Placentia location now has a full bar. YL location has closed.

Are there any vegan options?

I'm not a vegan so not 100% sure what that entails, but their menu does say "vegan cheese 50c more" so my guess is yes. They have many salads on their menu as well.

What time is their happy hour?

2-6 Monday thru Friday

Apparently, on weekends, they only offer whole pizzas--which makes sense. But what about your patrons Monday through Friday who don't want to spend $63 on a pizza? You offer slices of only a few pizzas, yet somehow can't accommodate a request for a small or medium pizza. Quite comical. My biggest question is: It's Tuesday--why can't we order a small or medium pizza? I asked the manager on site, but they didn't seem interested in discussing it, so I simply left. To make matters worse, they apparently don't answer their phone or respond to emails, making it nearly impossible to get clarification beforehand. Needless to say, I won't be returning. And honestly, for a business that doesn't seem particularly interested in communicating with its customers, I doubt my absence will be much of a loss. Enjoy my $63! $63 is this economy is robbery and it's mediocre pizza served out of a food truck. No shade. I've had tasty food truck pizza. For the cost? I guess it explains the majority of your intoxicated customers..

I've been doing to-go orders at this place, as it's one of my favorite pizza places of all time, for quite some time but I wanted to finally give my feedback of the establishment, food quality and hospitality. The Roscoe family has a pretty interesting history that involves a lot of Disneyland and amazing stories to hear. From the glimpse of a story that I've heard, sounds like any American family giving it their all while enjoying themselves and serving amazing food. It made me wish I could've attended one of their Disneyland outings just to be part of their experience. If you head near the back of the store by the restrooms, you'll see massive collage of photos to your left that speaks a lot through each image. Ok, let's take a break from the nostalgia. Let's get onto the food! FOOD Dad's Creation This is my go-to. I've been telling myself to try out one of their other creations but I just can't stop myself. It's got a bit of everything and tastes absolutely amazing! Toppings contain Pepperoni, Ham, Mushroom, Bell Pepper, Red Onion and they don't skimp on the toppings. Boy let me tell ya! Custom Pizza If I can remember correctly, this was a thin crust with a custom toppings. Gf loves her toppings so it's perfect for her when adding. Again, they don't skimp out on the toppings and it's all worth it in the end! Honestly you'll probably end the night with just 2 slices with the amount given! OVERALL Hands down, best pizza place in all of Anaheim. Prove me wrong. The amount of toppings, the flavor, the love put into each pizza. Especially talking with the owner, super funny guy and great history behind Mama Roscoe's. With the short time we had, I had a fun time and I think we'll dine in one of these days just so we can hear more stories while we eat. Plus the pizza will be extra fresh and pipin' hot! Quick note, if you're coming from the 91 freeway, it'll be the plaza with the gas station. Can be easily missed as it's a bit of a downhill but you should be fine if you hit the stop light. Plenty of parking, several tables available with tv's on so it's perfect spot to grab some pizza while watching any games. Huge shout-out to the Mama Roscoe's Pizza team. Every time we order, it always tastes amazing, always packed with toppings and flavor. You guys are my go-to whenever I'm in the mood for pizza and that's a lot of the time! See you guys again soon!

They have a lot of screens throughout the brewery to watch the game, and there are food trucks with a variety of food. It gets pretty busy on weekends and on game days, so parking can be hard at peak times. Both the huckleberry and baja sipper seltzers were really good and sweet, and the baja sipper one tastes like mountain dew baja blast. We also got the bronx bomber pizza, which comes with marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, jalapeno, garlic, and parmesan. I've heard good things about the pizza here, but it came out even better than I expected. The crust is thin but still soft and crisp. They do online orders for the pizza, but not on the weekends. We wanted to do a half and half pizza to try another kind, but they don't do that on the weekends either. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lot was completely slammed, with a line of cars cruising and waiting for spots to open up. The surrounding industrial buildings weren't any better, with completely packed lots despite the heavy tow risk. Since we were in the area for a couple of days, we decided to come back the next afternoon, and the parking situation was much more manageable. It's easy to see why this place draws a crowd, though unfortunately, it's not for the beer itself. The industrial space is massive--both inside and out--with plenty of seating. There are screens everywhere, including a giant one on the patio that makes it a great spot for watching sports. You'll also find several stationary food trucks on-site serving up comfort food ranging from pizzas to loaded fries. It's very family-friendly in the afternoon hours, though the vibe likely shifts quite a bit once the sun goes down. The main issue--and the reason for the 3-star rating--is that this is a brewery, not just an event space, and the beer simply didn't impress. While there's a wide variety on tap, they don't offer tasters or flights, and everything is served in disposable plastic cups. You're forced to choose between half or full pours, which makes sampling more than a couple of beers a bit risky. To top it off, prices are fairly high with very little cost difference between half and full pours, making it clear they're pushing volume (and pitchers) over craft exploration. Ultimately, if you're looking for a lively social hub to hang out with friends, Brewery X is a solid option. But if you're searching for genuinely great craft beer, there are much better choices around.

We came here after the Whitney Houston Candlelight concert at the Nixon Library, and what a find!…read moreApparently we weren't the only ones with the same idea -- some other people from the concert were at Terra too and recognized us: "Hey, weren't you just at the Candlelight concert?" My sister originally chose Terra because she saw a picture of one of their salads with salmon and knew immediately that was what she wanted. We had no idea we were about to discover a new favorite restaurant. 10/10 -- I've already bookmarked Terra because I will absolutely be back. When we arrived, we told our server we had never been there before and asked what she recommended. Her descriptions of the food were fantastic, and she steered us toward the wood-grilled peaches with burrata and arugula. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely delicious! The grilled peaches, creamy burrata and arugula were such a wonderful combination. Then the salad came out, with salmon added. I took my first bite and was literally speechless. It was an explosion of flavor -- the avocado, salmon, sesame dressing and everything else going on in that salad just worked. The salmon costs extra, but it was absolutely worth it. The peach dish and the salad were completely different flavor experiences, and honestly I would happily order both of them again. We were talking about how we were gonna come back and try to resist ordering the same thing over again, but that will be a challenge. Of course, we were at a wood-fired pizza restaurant, so we HAD to try the pizza. We ordered half-and-half. One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else. I will absolutely be back.

The fish tacos with ono fish were also very yummy. Everything on the menu looks exciting and it keeps you wanting to come back. We wanted to try the pizza, which is one of their specialties, but we will have to come back for that. The interior is nice and it gives the possibility to make it feel like a date night place while still offering a bit of a casual vibe. I would recommend this place for sure. We walked out the door having had 2 entrees and an appetizer for about 95$ after tip, so not too bad if you know coming in.
