Churro French Toast, Chocolate Velvet Pancake, Breakfast Burrito
    Kiana L.

I love coming to Toast Kitchen & Bar. It honestly feels like a little hidden gem, and every time I visit it reminds me why I keep coming back. On our last visit we ordered the breakfast burrito, velvet waffles, and the churro French toast, and everything was really good. I have to say though, the breakfast burrito is easily one of the best I've had. It's actually the one thing I always order whenever I come here because it's just that good. It's hearty, flavorful, and super satisfying, making it the perfect brunch dish. The velvet waffles were also great. They weren't overly sweet, which I personally like, and when paired with the cream cheese frosting it created a really nice balance of flavors. It felt indulgent without being too heavy. The churro French toast was another highlight and had that warm cinnamon sugar flavor that made it feel like a fun brunch treat. The restaurant itself is also really spacious inside, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. It's a great place to come with friends and actually sit, chat, and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, which always makes the visit even better.

Food was excellent. I got the biscuits and gravy that came with 2 sides of your choice. I got it with hashed browns and sausage links. My husband got their steak burrito which came with a side of his choice (bacon). The food came out quick which we appreciated. Our food tasted great. The place is big, spacious, bright and very inviting. Our waiter was busy but attentive when he could be. I'd totally come back to try their other stuff. We came in on an early Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded (yet). We got seated upon arrival. I can picture this place getting packed though. They do take reservations. I'd recommend.

This is a great spot to have brunch with friends. The inside is spacious and can be great for groups. I think their coffee and cocktails are solid. Their plates are massive and shareable. I wouldn't say the food is great. It's just okay. I've had their green chilaquiles. They come with Spanish rice and black beans. It wasn't a standout dish, and I wasn't a fan of the rice or beans. My friend loved her Spanish omelette and the house potatoes they're served with. I went on a Friday morning and we were sat right away. However, I have seen it packed on weekends, so you might have a wait depending on the window you visit. The staff wasn't inviting. They felt a bit cold. It's pricey spot, but I recommend sharing a plate since they're massive.

This breakfast is my favorite and does not disappoint. From the staff being friendly and attentive. To the food being delicious and flavorful! My go-to breakfast item is the Classic Benedict with hashbrown chips and a Lavender iced latte. The other entree we ordered is the salmon cucumber avocado toast with hashbrown chips and an Rose iced latte. I can't wait to return!

We came here for my sister's birthday as I had been here for dinner before and enjoyed the drinks and the ambiance. We also love Story, by the same company in Anaheim Hills. Let's start with the service, the reason for the docking of 1 star. My sister asked the server to bring a birthday treat for the birthday girl and they said they would add a candle onto whatever sweet we ordered. We had a reservation for 6 people and were seated in a booth. My sister thought it seemed too tight for 6 so she asked if we could be moved to a table and our server, Luke, was huffy as he moved us to a table instead. Then, he kept forgetting my sister's coffee and she had to ask for it 3 times. He also didn't bring the birthday girl's side of biscuit until she was halfway through her meal. Lastly, he omitted the candle on the french toast we ordered making it super awkward as we had to tell the birthday girl to wait and then go ask them for the candle. The food and drinks however were delicious! I got the spanish omelette which was light enough even though it was 3 eggs. We were intrigued by the hash brown chips which tasted a bit like flattened but crispier in n out fries - pretty good. Someone in our party is vegan and she was pleased to find they had vegan eggs and cheese! The best part was the churro french toast - absolutely delicious with little churro pieces on top! My strawberry gimlet was delicious and tasted like it had fresh strawberries pureed inside. The girl scout was the best non-fruity drink my sister said she's ever had. The spicy margarita was delicious. I'd definitely come back here just for the drinks and some dessert! The guava mimosa was probably the only disappointing drink - tasted like a regular mimosa with barely any guava taste.

My favorite go-to place for weekend brunch! Great location as it is right off the 57 freeway, and very close to the Brea mall. Depending on the time, the wait on the weekend can be very long up to an hour or so. Since I have been here many times, my secret to avoid the long wait on the weekend is to go before the "after-church crowd" IYKYK A simple yet plenty of deliciousness from the brunch menu! My favorites are the omelettes and the benedicts. Though I am a bit sad that it no longer offers the lobster benedict. However you can't go wrong with any of other offerings from the brunch menu. Everything tastes freshly made, and good portions as well. On my most recent visit, instead of the usual omelette or benedict, I had the brunch burger (8oz beef/chorizo patty with slices of bacon and fresh avocado, a fried egg sunny side up, all on a brioche bun). Just added another favorite to my list! Great service and ambience as expected during brunch/lunch hours. Decent price for high quality and good portion size. Again, on the weekend, it can be pretty busy and crowded, and parking wise, one may have to park in the nearby hotel parking spaces, but it's all worth it! Definitely worth checking it out when in the area.

If you're craving traditional breakfast food, this place is great. The vibes were lovely, as the space had a lot of plants and cute decor. Service was attentive and friendly. I was def a fan. Orders: Simple classic breakfast: the surprising star of this meal was my dry multigrain toast. It was a thick slice and had a nice chew. It was how I imagine toasted breakfast bread should be. The eggs, bacon, and potatoes were good too. Large portions size, so I left feeling full. Veggie omelette: a large portion of potatoes and a very hearty omelette. Well seasoned, and filling. Would order again. Overall, we had a great experience!

We went on a Sunday. Get there before 10 since the parking lot does get full and the crowd starts to roll in. Service was great and very attentive. The decor was like it was someone's house with the nice vases and pictures. Looks very clean but homey. This location is a lot bigger than the one they have in Tustin. Food was delicious and definitely would go back.

Good simple brunch spot. We were able to make reservations for breakfast on a Saturday! By 9am there was a decent crowd of people. There was a variety of dishes such as chilaquiles, avocado toasts, French toasts and Benedicts. All dishes come with a side. Side options: potatoes, hash browns, fries , fruit, Caesar Salad or Arugula Salad l. We split breakfast burrito that has sausage ham and bacon, with cheese egg and hash brown with green salsa, along with a salmon Benedict. Service was fast and good came out at a reasonable time. Lattes were delicious. They offer oat milk as a nondairy milk substitute.

I've been to Toast multiple times and have never been disappointed! Their eggs benedict & country potatoes are such a perfect duo, I feel like when you go here you have to get it! I also love that there are a variety of different breakfast items you can choose from; like multiple eggs benedict, multiple omelettes, etc. Service is just okay. Toast has gotten even more busy over the years, that my friend and I had to wait 40+ minutes to be seated despite being on the waitlist. Inside is really nice and spacious. There are options to sit indoors or outside. Although it can get busy, Toast is worth the wait and probably one of the best brunch spots in OC.

Service was decent. Outside patio area was a disappointment. The table they sat us at was dirty and had to ask for it to be cleaned, then the booth seats were dirty from the outside and probably haven't been wiped down for awhile the way it looked. Just felt grimy and gross. Food was just okay, I ordered the chilaquiles with green sauce and chorizo. Food was like warm like it had been sitting for a bit. And not sure why the chorizo was separated instead of mixed together. The best part I had to say was the Iced Mexican Latte. That's what saved the day.

Sauce is bomb. Inside is soooo cute! Service is quick. Pancake size is huge. Def want to come back and try more things in the menu

Definitely award-winning french toast. My friend, a vegetarian, ordered a different french toast and was envious of mine. Hers was a bit mushy and came with a side of bacon and sausage which she promptly handed over to me. The sausage was very flavorful and the bacon was meaty, simultaneously crisp and chewy, and very much appreciated by me. I loved my meal and was disappointed my dining partner had a less stellar experience. I guess it all depends on what you order.
