Surprisingly not a bad brunch spot I would come back to again hopefully in the near future. This hidden spot seems like it's buried within some office buildings, with a parking lot that seems like needs to be paid to get in, but is free, at least when we went on a weekend. We had the pork belly rice bowl, which was not bad. Theres good flavor on the pork belly, and it is a very colorful signature dish. The pork belly could be a bit juicier and slightly less dry. Also had the chilaquiles which was flavorful. Same thing the the meat that can be slightly less dry, but overall also a flavorful dish. I'm glad the sour cream on this dish isn't overwhelming. Both dishes come with a slightly runny egg on top. The coffee and the service feel standard, nothing bad or standing out.

Located in an industrial area of Fullerton, it's easy to miss, but it's worth seeking out. Just remember to validate your parking, I learned that lesson the hard way and ended up paying $10. I ordered the pork belly rice bowl and a lavender latte. Calysta recommended the rice bowl, and the recommendation did not disappoint. The pork belly was perfectly crispy, and the combination of brown rice, pickled onions, avocado, arugula, and pesto was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The pesto was an unexpected addition that really brought the dish together. The lavender latte was just as enjoyable, and yes, the latte art got me. What stood out most was the family-owned feel. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone was welcoming. Special shoutout to Jen for her kindness and for sharing a little about the business. If Eggspresso were closer to me, it would easily become a regular stop.
Fullerton has so many good places to eat at. So many hidden gems. Glad I came across this place. Took my aunty's for brunch and we enjoyed the lemon pancakes and the pork belly rice bowl. Latte was delicious as well. We got there around 9am on a Saturday morning, plenty of parking inside and outside. Got busy quick tho. Cool place, try them out!
Such a cute spot for brunch. I was worried about parking because its near a hospital & lots of buildings however they have their own lot & they do validate parking! Came here for lunch with my son & we got the fried rice & chicken and waffles benedict. We also got the dirty potatoes which was such a nice touch to go with the rest of our food. The strawberry lemonade is really refreshing & the matcha is so good. I love that there's outdoor seating & indoor seating! Service was great as well
Plenty of patio seating outside & inside. Great service & a clean interior. Ordered the cremini mushroom toast and subbed with dirty potatoes - delicious!! A must for mushroom fanatics. Great portion sizes too. My friends enjoyed their Kimchi fried rice & Pork belly rice bowls! I'll have to get that next time. Only downside is the paid parking. Just remember to get your ticket validated before leaving!! You get 2 free hours w validation, but anything over is $10/hour - which isn't super horrible but not fun. It's a decent cafe that delivers quality meals! Will be back!
Husband and I had breakfast here today, it was really good! The parking lot was a bit difficult as it is tiny and it seemed 50% of the spaces were reserved for other businesses. You also have to pay for parking, unless you validate, which my husband forgot to do so it was $10 for less than an hour! Make sure to remember to get the validation. We sat inside and the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. The patio seemed way nicer, I would sit out there next time. You scan a QR code on the table and order/pay from your phone before the meal. My husband did tip $10, but I didn't really see the point as there isn't much "service." Our drinks and food were brought to us, but nobody checked on us again, and since you pay up front you don't have to wait for somebody to bring you a bill. I ordered a peach jasmine iced tea, it was $6 and VERY weak, I should have stuck to water, this was not worth $6. Husband had an iced latte and said it was fine. Both of our entrees came with an arugula salad, but for an upcharge you could sub for fruit, potatoes, or mushroom fries. The upcharges were $5 and $6, yikes! This ended up being an almost $80 breakfast, and while it was tasty, I think it was too expensive. That being said, we really liked our food. He had the Breakfast Banger, a tasty sandwich with rosemary sausage, loads of cheese, a fried egg, on an english muffin. Loved the sausage! His Dirty Potatoes were good, they came with a side of creme fraiche, which wasn't needed. The potatoes are cooked with garlic and sage, yummy. My breakfast was the Croque Madam and I subbed for Portobello Fries. THE FRIES wow so good!! I wish more places had this as a side, they are delicious! They come with a really good aji sauce on the side. My Croque Madam was very good, nice sourdough bread, lots of gruyere cheese, tasty smoked ham, and whole grain mustard. The egg on top was slightly overcooked, I would have liked a more runny yolk. Overall though, we both enjoyed it.

The location is really nice and chill. I got the mimosas package and chicken & waffle Benedict with the eggs on the side. Everything was soo delicious. The chicken could be a little more season but once the syrup is on everything it's fine. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. The star of the shows is those breakfast (dirty) potatoes. 10/10 those were so good my boyfriend and I ordered another side of them . I would definitely come back such a great brunch spot

One of our go to favorite brunch spots! I usually get the Classic Breakfast plate but I was really feeling kimchi fried rice, which was delicious, the Korean pickled radish was a nice surprise and added a sweetness that I didn't know I'd enjoy as much as I did. Aside from their classic breakfast, their chilaquiles special is really what we came here for. They use ropa vieja for the protein and it's so tasty! I like that this spot is a casual brunch spot with no frills in terms of the dining experience. I like to eat in on the patio when I dine here.
I know it'll be a good start to my day when I eat here. The food feels hearty and healthy while being fulfilling and tasty. This time around I had the green goddess salad and my daughter had the pork belly rice bowls. In my journey to healthy eating I opted for the salad but I couldn't resist the hot lavender latte. The salad was alright, I felt the chicken could've used a bit more seasoning or the dressing needed more flavor, regardless I ate most of it. The pork belly rice was super yummy, of course that plate was gone quickly. I really enjoy coming here, and sitting inside or outside depending on the weather and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.
Saw a Chorizo Burrito on Yelp and it looked delicious. But turns out they don't offer that anymore so I was bummed. Ended up getting the Classic Breakfast - 2 eggs, 3 sourdough toasts, 2 sausages, dirty potatoes, and jam. Everything was decent. The Breakfast Banger was OK. A little messy and greasy. The muffin was too soft for me. I wish the ordering app had a Special Instructions so I can request for the potatoes to be crispy or butter or whatever. If I go to the counter and ask for these things, by the time I get to the front of the line the food already comes out. Unfortunately, nothing on the menu really jumps out at me so not sure if I'll come back.
Came by to try something different than the standard breakfast options. Conveniently located next to St Jude hospital area, the private parking lot currently does not require validation or payment. The Egg white omelette special was really good. Lightly seasoned with butter, spinach, chicken, cheese, potatoes/sweet potatoes and other herbs, this was a fairly big portion for one to finish. It's both filling but light at the same time for breakfast. Came with a side of their arugula salad, gives a nutty flavor to it. The other dish, my wife tried it and it was also delicious. Avocado toast with smoke salmon and a half of hard boiled egg on each. This is good for the savory, buttery texture if you were craving this in the morning. Each dish is about $20 per, and felt it was a good value for the dishes. Staff was quick, friendly, and mainly stayed behind the counter. Decor is bright, inviting, and has outdoor seating if preferred.
I'm super confused by the 5 star reviews. We ordered the Chilaquiles (not on regular menu) and Kimchi Rice and both were disappointing. The Chilaquiles lacked flavor and the Kimchi Rice tasted like ketchup rice. It was abnormally sweet and there was very little meat. Im guessing it does well due to the people working at the medical offices not wanting to lose their parking spots so they eat where they can walk to.

I keep coming back for the lemon cream pancakes! Love the softness and that lemon cream is addictive. A half stack probably would be filling enough since they're pretty big. Recently came and almost couldn't finish the full stack. Forgot they were 4 huge pancakes! Also liked the other food and drinks. Really should try more on the menu, but those pancakes keep calling me each time! It's one of those order first then sit down places. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Parking can be tough when the plaza is busy because it's a small lot but they validate. read more

a great little hidden gem brunch spot in Fullerton! this location has a paid parking lot, but you can get parking validated! can still get packed though, so keep that in mind! good amount of seating inside, but they also have a nice amount outside too for the nice weather days. the service was good, the food was good, and the vibes were really nice too! my mom really enjoyed her chilaquiles, and my chicken & waffles were yummy but i do wish the chicken portion was a liiiittle bigger than tenders, and my eggs were overcooked/not runny. but overall, still a meal that i enjoyed! would come back to try other things on the menu :) read more
A hidden little gem that is tucked away by the hospital. If I wasn't told about this spot, I don't even think I would have ever gone here. This spot has a private parking lot that is shared with several other businesses. With validation from the restaurant, parking is free for two hours. The moment you walk in, it's a nice homey feel to it. There is ample seating, both inside and outside. It's a bit of a fast casual restaurant, where you order at the front, take a number, sit down, and they will deliver to your table. I ordered the Lemon Pancakes, Breakfast Burrito with Bacon, and black coffee. The breakfast burrito is definitely hearty and very filling, a bit salty for my taste from the bacon. The Lemon pancakes are flavorful and fluffy, a great sweet treat if you are looking for one. Coffee is coffee. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes. read more

This place have been showing up on my Instagram feeds for the longest time and finally decided to by and try it out. My hubby and I met up with our friend from OC and had a mini catch up session. The whole parking situation was giving us the IDK if we should give it a try, but glad we did because it was such a cute spot to grab a bite along with some coffee. Parking is 2 hours free, don't forget to validate at the cashier before you leave. Not only do they serve coffee, they also serve mimosas , wine and beer. How to order? Grab a seat and scan their QR code. View their menu and order. The servers will bring you the food and drinks. Water is self-serve, but if you need extra plates to share, request as they will bring them to you. What we ordered? Chicken and Waffles, Chilaquiles, Portello fries, Dirty Potatoes, and the Pork Belly Rice! The food did NOT disappoint. Coffee choice? We got an ice espresso tonic and it had a hint of orange, which we liked a lot. Will we be coming back? YES! read more

Place is clean and has a lot of seating on the inside and outside cashier was ok but the people cleaning up plates and asking if anything was needed definitely 2 thumbs up. The food is definitely on the pricier side. Food tastes good and of good quality. Restaurant validates parking good for up to 2 hours. read more

Discovered this place on TikTok since I wanted to get some brunch. Walking in, the interior looked very nice. Loved the decor. For drinks we got the Lychee Coconut Matcha and Spanish Latte. I personally did not like the Matcha drink at all. Had one sip, the coconut cream tasted putrid to me, and I've had a lot of food/drinks w coconut cream. The lychee was the only thing good tbh, most likely it was canned. My friend did like her drink though it was just a regular coffee drink. Heard the Pork Belly Rice Bowl and Mushroom Fries were the best menu items here and that's what we ordered. I feel like the people on TikTok are either paid or have different tastebuds from us because the greatest thing was the presentation. The rice bowls lacked a LOT of flavor. My friend had her bowl loaded with the pickled onions for some reason too. Pork belly was kind of dry in my opinion. Had to add tapatio packets because it was so bland. As for the mushroom fries, they were very soft, soggy almost. Not crispy at all. The sauce was also lacking in flavor. What was I expecting from a modern fusion place? If I ever were to come back here again, I think I would get the sweet breakfast options such as the waffles instead. Very expensive for low quality food :/ read more

I ended up coming to Eggspresso in Fullerton two days in a row with my wife because it was that good. One of the things I loved right away was the convenience--ordering straight from the table using the QR code made everything smooth and fast. I tried a bunch of dishes and nothing missed. The kimchi fried rice was a standout--packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and I highly recommend adding mushrooms for even more depth. The chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs were satisfying and crispy without being heavy. The mushroom toast with arugula salad was fresh and earthy, and the chilaquiles were done right with great texture and seasoning. The drinks deserve their own shoutout. I had the coconut matcha, brulee latte, tiramisu latte, and chai latte, and every single one was excellent--creative, smooth, and not overly sweet. Overall, this is by far the most unique and delicious breakfast spot I've tried this year. Great food, great drinks, and a seamless experience. Absolutely worth the return visits. read more
Everything here was less than desirable unfortunately. They make you pay AND TIP before ordering so unfortunately even if your service sucks you've already paid tip. They make you scan a QR code to order and you have to get your own water and to go containers so I'm not sure why I tipped my usual 20%, especially when the workers were rude when we asked how to order. The food was also just okay. I got chicken and waffles but the waffle tasted like raw dough and was likely undercooked. The chicken was okay so I just ate the chicken and left the waffles. The place looks cute so I was excited to try but overall I would not come back. read more
A very cozy, clean, and welcoming spot to stop by. The patio area is beautiful, perfect if you want to sit outside with some sun and a nice view. The inside is spacious as well, and they even have a designated parking lot. Just make sure to bring your ticket for validation! I ordered a breakfast burrito and a Spanish latte. Loved that the latte comes in glassware when dining in - a small touch, but it makes the experience feel nicer. The coffee was great, and the burrito had a solid portion size for the price. Parking is 2 hour free with validation. Stopped by early on a Sunday. Loved the portobello fries w/aji verde dip. SO yummy. Chicken was very juice in the chicken and waffles. There were two sauces, hollandaise and maple syrup. The kimchi fried rice was a little sweeter and tastes a bit like a pizza. The yuzu matcha tonic was different and fun to try. Don't let end gated parking intimidate you! You can get 2 hrs free parking and it's plenty for Yapping, Food & Coffee! Bring your parking slip! Eggspresso makes it ultra easy for you to order! You can order via QR code listed on each table or order at the front! This spot makes fantastic coffee like their butterscotch cream latte, Americanos but they also make creative matchas like The Forest which is matcha lavender latte. On top of that they also have fruity lemonades! The menu goes over beyond expectations because it has creative brunch menu items much as Chicken and Waffles Benedict, Chilaquiles , Burritos and Popular Mrs Eggspresso Chicken Sandwich. Also unique about this spot is they serve the most delicious tempura portobello fries along with a tasty green sauce. I can't think of any other spot where you can order a side of Pork Belly! There is a lot of space for you to get comfy and enjoy Eggspresso. FYI it's across the street from St Jude Hospital. read more
Super intrigued by the menu being an Asian fusion inspired~ but what's crazy it's the Lemon Cream Pancake being the highlight and second highlight is the portobello mushrooms. Normally I don't gravitate to sweet brunch items but it being "not too sweet" with amazing texture won me over --- even over my burger. All the other options were good but not mind blowing. I've had better fried chicken sandwiches and coffee were just okay. Service was a bit confusing because the main door you come through is quite far away from the kiosk at the front. There are QR codes on the table though! Vibes were cute but we drove quite a way to get here... so the effort wasn't worth that worth it. Solid brunch spot in Fullerton! The Mrs. Eggspresso was delicious and I enjoyed the side salad it came with -- very filling. My drink, The Forest, was also tasty because of the Lavender taste. In total, I paid $30 for both which I thought was a decent price. How it works: You order and pay for your food at the register. Then they give you a number to place at your table so they can bring you your food. However, when it comes to drinks, they just call it out once it's ready so you have to check yourself. I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't very busy. We learned the hard way Now, I'm going to be completely honest here. If you want to eat out at a place with clean cute vibes and pretty looking food that tastes "pretty good" but costs more than it's worth, this place has your back. For $18 for my chicken and waffles benedict, it genuinely was good, but I've had better for a cheaper price. The service was pretty okay! Again, I don't expect much. We were treated with respect and the food came out shortly after. No small talk or high energy here, but honestly, I preferred it that way that day. The packed restaurant made me want a calmer dining experience, which is possible as they have outdoor seating. In my opinion, this is a place you take someone once. For the price, you do expect more in terms of flavor and portion, but it's still a great place to try out! That tiny parking lot though stressed us out though. Checked out Eggspresso in Fullerton recently and really enjoyed the experience. We grabbed a table out on the patio, which made for a great brunch on a nice day. My favorite dish was the pork belly rice bowl. I liked the fusion element and it felt a little lighter than your typical brunch plate while still being really satisfying. The chorizo breakfast burrito was another standout and packed with flavor. We also tried the brioche french toast, which was a nice balance to the savory dishes. Drink-wise, the tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The strawberry matcha was refreshing, and we also enjoyed a couple blood orange mimosas while hanging out on the patio. Overall, a really solid brunch spot and would definitely come back when in the area. read more

Eggspresso is a hidden gem!!! My partner brought me here on one of our foodie adventures and i really enjoyed this place. So this restaurant is tucked away near a hospital so you will need to drive in, get a ticket and then make sure to get your parking validated!!!! They have indoor and outdoor seating, lots of open windows and just a nice simple relaxing vibe to the whole restaurant. The service was fantastic, you order up front , get a number and they bring everything out. The food came out in a timely manner. Everything was fresh and flavors were on point. Justin was the one who brought out our food and he was just amazing. The food!!! More please is all I can say. I got the salmon egg florentine and I loved every bite!! Add in some dirty potatoes and you bring all that dish together, the arugula salad was delicious... my wife got the chicken and waffles Benedict... that chicken was perfect. Not to much breading but enough for a crisp, the waffles were soft on the inside and a good crisp on the outside. The syrup.. idk if it was made from scratch but it was delicious. The matcha I got was very delicious and the flavor was nice too. Updated review. This place is a bit pricey but seriously so good. We got omelets which come with an arugula salad, their salmon Benedict, and the kids grilled cheese. The omelets are a pretty big portion with great protein to egg ratio if you add a protein. Grilled cheese was made with super thick toast and lots of melty cheese. The salmon Benedict was great too but there was some shell in it. Inside is always clean with lots of staff checking tables to make sure tables are cleaned off when people are done. read more
The food was really good. I ordered the chicken and waffles with poached eggs. The waffles were thick and fluffy but not dry. The fried chicken had good texture and flavor as well. Instead of the poached eggs which made them runny, I would have asked for fried eggs if I had known better. The dish was $19 but you do get a good amount of food. You order at the counter and they will give you a number and they will bring the food out to you. The ambiance is cozy. I am not giving this place five stars because it is very hard to find. I circled around twice before locating it at the corner. It is located in an area surrounded by medical centers and a hospital. It has its own private parking lot with a gate at the front. The cafe does offer validation for free parking for two hours. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The seating inside is mixed: tables by the window, and tables on the side next to the coffee service. Service was good but not great. There are only two power outlets that worked in the cafe, and the tables near the outlets were small round tables and hard to work in with a laptop, a plate of food and a coffee mug. It was very cramped and uncomfortable. This is not an ideal place to eat, work and/or study. read more

The place is clean and there's plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and we received our food in a timely manner. We ordered portobello fries to start. For entrees, we opted for the lemon cream pancakes and Mr Eggspresso. Portobello Fries- Crisp interior and soft and spongy exterior. A must have for mushroom lovers like me. Paired with a savory and tangy sauce. Lemon Cream Pancakes- This was an absolute favorite! The pancakes were fluffy and soft with a rich lemon flavor. The whipped lemon cream was fresh and citrusy. Such a fun summer flavor! Mr Eggspresso- The brioche bun was soft with a light crisp from getting toasted. It was loaded with cheese and turkey slices. Got the strawberry matcha and butterscotch latte and the drinks were both very good and strong. For food, we ordered the lemon cream pancake, pork belly rice bowl, and cremini mushroom toast subbed with a side of dirty potatoes. Met up with some friends who suggested trying Eggsresso in Fullerton. It was my first time there, but I really enjoyed it. I parked on the street, but later noticed the table sign mentioning they validate parking with a sticker--which would've been nice to know. You order by scanning a QR code at the table, and while drinks are picked up inside at the cafe counter, they bring your food out to you. I got the pork belly rice bowl, which was solid. The pork had a nice crisp on the outside but stayed juicy and tender inside, with a good meat-to-fat ratio. It came with pickled onions, avocado, and mushrooms, which paired well with the pork. The brown rice could've used a little more seasoning, but overall, the meal was really tasty. Service was also super friendly! read more
Been here a handful of times and loved everything I got. While you do have to get a ticket to park in the parking lot, they validate for 2 hours. Food is filling and decent priced. You can order at the counter or via QR code at your table. I will say that service is very inconsistent. I've had some workers be super kind and patient and then others who didn't even look at me when I was asking a question and quickly pointed in the direction of what I needed. I came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with friends and it wasn't too busy. They have a small parking lot and they validate parking for 2 hours. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and it was nice and quiet. To order, we scanned the QR code on the table to order individually. The food was delivered to our table, but, for the drinks, we had wait for our name to be called and then had to get up and get our own drinks. I ordered the pork belly rice bowl. It was good and not greasy like some other pork bowls I've had before. The pork belly was a little overcooked in my opinion but it was still not bad. I also ordered a cappuccino. It was pretty average, but a little on the bitter side. One of my friends got the green goddess salad, which i had a bite of, and it was also good. It was fresh and they did not overdo it with the dressing. I also tried the matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte. Both drinks were pretty sweet. The matcha taste was not super strong. I couldn't even taste the matcha in the strawberry matcha latte. It just tasted like strawberry milk, which was not bad but not what was expected. Also, one of my friends got a tiramisu latte, and she described the coffee's taste to be a little bit sour. Overall, the food was good, but the drinks were okay. read more
I came here for brunch with a friend after working up our appetites on a long morning walk in the heat. It didn't disappoint! This is a cute spot in the middle of a medical office area so I'm sure their main clientele are healthcare workers. I love the name of their establishment (I kept singing Sabrina Carpenter's song "Espressso" in my head), and their logo is so cute combining an egg and a coffee bean. The decor is nice and there are a good amount of tables inside and out. My friend got the breakfast burrito and I got the Lemon Cream pancake and their featured drink Lychee Coconut Cream Matcha. My friend loved her breakfast burrito and my pancakes were so so good! Light and fluffy and the lemon chantilly cream on top was perfection! I didn't really need the syrup as the cream was so good I was just spreading it on every piece I ate. As for the lychee coconut cream matcha, it wasn't for me. While I enjoy all these ingredients, the combination of all these things together didn't make my tastebuds happy and I had a really hard time finishing the drink. I also bought a red velvet cookie to enjoy later. For $5.75 I had high expectations for my treat, but unfortunately it tasted dry and stale. I think you are better off getting a cookie from Levain for that price!! Next time I come back I'm sticking with the entrees and avoiding the desserts. 2 hour free parking is available in their lot, just remember to validate your ticket at the counter. read more
