I just got a little sick towards the end with how creamy the brie tasted. It's perfect for splitting with others, or you can alternate between a sweet crepe and this one. Turkey Pesto - 12/10 Perfect for brunch! I downed the whole thing by myself no problem. I would order this again in a heartbeat. Chicken Florentine - 7/10 I learned that I'm not a big fan of Swiss cheese. If you like Swiss cheese, this is the prominent flavor. Fraise Classic - 9.5/10 Perfect ratio of chocolate to fruit. I visited Fraise Cafe with my partner on a Friday afternoon around lunch time. This is a mom and pop shop that is perfect for a weekday lunch or weekend family/friends catchup! There was a lunch rush, so the restaurant was fully packed when we arrived. We were able to snag a table near the front while we decided on what to order. The menu consists of crepes, croissant sandwiches, salads and beverages. I like that there was a QR menu code at each table and you can order on the machine or at the cash! It makes for an easy process. Once we decided on our items, tables were clearing up so we could get a seat at the red and white colored booths. For food, we ordered 2 crepes - 1 savory and 1 sweet, and a croissant sandwich. The Norwegian Crepe is one of their best selling savory crepes and it consists of smoked salmon, spring mix, red onion, tomatoes, and capers. This is served with homemade dill-and-chive sauce. Fresh ingredients, crepes made to order and I loved every bite! For the sweet crepe, I ordered the Fraise Classic which has freshly sliced strawberries and bananas and finished with your choice of chocolate - white, milk, hazelnut or dark. I got the hazelnut chocolate drizzle and it was super decadent. It is a perfect sharable item with coffee and tea. Last, but not least, I tried the Ham and Cheese Croissant Sandwich. The croissants are made fresh every morning and they are absolutely flaky and delicious. I loved how much ingredients they put into this sandwich. Every bite you get the warm ham and melted cheese! For our beverages we got the Strawberry Basil Lemonade and a customized Iced Caffe Latte. The Strawberry Basil Lemonade is a refreshing summer drink made with fresh strawberries, fragrant basil and lemonade. I love that they put fresh strawberries and basils into the drink for the added flavor! The customized Iced Caffe Latte has a rose cold foam and then some added brown sugar. The coffee in this is super silky and velvety. I love the smooth roast finish and the syrup and cold foam meld well into it. I loved that I was able to try so many items on the menu. Everyone at the shop was absolutely wonderful - all smiles throughout the whole time. I also adored the smell of fresh crepes, croissants and pastries. I opted for a plain crepe, while my husband ordered the classic version topped with fresh strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream. Unfortunately, both the presentation and the flavors were very basic. The crepes themselves were a bit thicker than the delicate, very thin style I'm accustomed to from other restaurants, and the taste was quite bland--even with my husband's toppings. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant, but like the crepes, it was fairly standard and didn't really stand out. It's a small spot that was run by just two people at the time of our visit, which worked out well enough. One person was cooking while the other served. You place your order yourself at the kiosk, they prepare and bring it out to you. Mini pancakes were cooked well too and a pretty good amount and had toppings and also the dark chocolate drizzle. Anything will get you full and VERY satisfied. For drinks, I got dirty chai latte and their strawberry refresher. Strawberry refresher lemonade was good but my favorite was their chai. Theirs is the best dirty chai I've ever had. It was so good and they make their own chai. Honestly most of the things here, they make themselves--chai, chocolate, BATTER,--and you can really tell from how good the quality and taste is. The owners were so nice too. This is family owned, and they're originally from Syria and Latvia but have been in the US for a long time now. You can see them make your food and she was super sweet and we had a nice chat about savory blinis from Russia and other cuisine/food talks and even about travel. Very lovely owners and family! Really great food spot! Perfect for brunch! Also good coffee and have free wifi so awesome cafe space too. Would love to go here again in the future.
