We tried both the Dubai crepe and the chicken Florentine crepe, and everything was made fresh and loaded with delicious toppings. The Dubai crepe was incredible. The crepe itself was soft, the kataifi was buttery and crispy, and it was filled with fresh strawberries and bananas. My husband took one bite and immediately said, "Wow." The chicken Florentine was also a fantastic savory option, especially with their bright and flavorful homemade dill sauce. We also tried the chicken salad croissant sandwich, which I absolutely loved. The chicken salad had apples and Craisins, giving it a great mix of flavors and textures, and the flaky croissant made it even better. For drinks, we ordered the strawberry basil lemonade, mango smoothie, and vanilla latte. Everything was delicious, but the strawberry basil lemonade was definitely my favorite. It was refreshing and full of flavor, while the latte was nice, strong, and coffee-forward. Fraise Cafe was voted one of the top cafés, and I can definitely see why. Absolutely love this place! I would come here every week when I went to CSUF. I love supporting small businesses and it's great to see how all the employees are family members! They offer great options as preset items or you can customize your own crepe. I opted for a plain crepe, while my husband ordered the classic version topped with fresh strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream. For drinks, I got dirty chai latte and their strawberry refresher. Strawberry refresher lemonade was good but my favorite was their chai. Theirs is the best dirty chai I've ever had. It was so good and they make their own chai. Honestly most of the things here, they make themselves--chai, chocolate, BATTER,--and you can really tell from how good the quality and taste is. The owners were so nice too. This is family owned, and they're originally from Syria and Latvia but have been in the US for a long time now. You can see them make your food and she was super sweet and we had a nice chat about savory blinis from Russia and other cuisine/food talks and even about travel. Very lovely owners and family!
