Loved this small but cute little restaurant. It's perfect for a morning coffee or to just sit and enjoy a book. Inside was decorated beautifully and it appeared to be very clean. The service was not top notch. It was terrible customer service! The person there was not happy to be there, I asked a simple question such as "do you offer vanilla latte" she pointed at a bottle of syrup and said "we have syrup." umm ok so then yes? I also asked for a small fountain drink and she let out an exhale and said "only one size" umm ok I'll take your one size then. Meanwhile she's off killing a fly with a rag, just slapping that rag around the counter. Clearly she is not very customer friendly but also looks miserable to be working there. I was very excited to try the crêpes here at Crêpes de Paris, so I rounded up a couple of girlfriends to check it out with me. As you walk up to the store front you already get a fun sense of visiting a French café. Super cute striped awnings and cute little café tables are set right out front. Inside is just as cute with French-inspired murals on all the walls and more café-style seating. Orders are placed at the counter and your food is brought to your table when it's ready. We tried 2 savory (chicken & spinach and the curry) crêpes and 1 sweet (d'Anjou). I'm not a crêpe connoisseur, but these crêpes are different from any I've tried before. At least an inch or so of the edges were very thin and dry. And although they were made to order, each one was on the cold side of lukewarm. The chicken & spinach one has a nice garlic flavor, but it needed salt. The curry one really didn't have an obvious curry taste. The flavor improved somewhat with some salt, but other than it being yellow, no curry flavor. Of the 3, the sweet crêpe was the best. There were the same issues with texture and temperature, but the pear compote and caramel drizzle made this dish delightful. A couple at a nearby table ordered sandwiches and French onion soup that looked really good. Perhaps if we return, we'll try those. read more

Came in with my youngest daughter for a bite, she got a craving for some crepe. She got the royal crepe and I got a savory one with chicken, mushroom, olive, and mozzarella. Was in search of dessert after eating dinner af a nearby restaurant, so my friend suggested we go here. The interior is very nicely decorated with Parisian motifs embedded throughout. Texture-wise, I found the crepe to be a bit too gummy for my liking. It could just be that I'm not used to this style of crepe, but I would have preferred more of a light and airy texture. My personal favourite is the royal crêpe - it is simple, with Nutella, chocolate sauce, bananas, strawberries, crème Chantilly, and powdered sugar. The staff here is friendly. They are adept in both taking orders and preparing the crêpes themselves, when they are able to. It is definitely a place where you can grab a quick bite, or have a solo meal carefree. read more

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE Walked in on a Thursday morning and the place was completely empty even though they had been open for 30-40 minutes... and now I understand why. The employee was rude from the start. I simply asked for my bacon to be crispy and she literally made a face, like my request was some kind of inconvenience. After taking my order, she then told me I "wasn't allowed" to have an outside drink. I explained I was almost finished and would throw it away, but she kept repeating "it doesn't matter" in a very disrespectful tone. I get having rules, but the way it was handled was unnecessary and unprofessional. The attitude was cold, arrogant, and made me feel unwelcome. Customer service is the reason businesses stay open, and with service like this, it's no surprise the place was empty. I won't be coming back. It has been about eight years since my last review of Crepes de Paris... and it still hits the spot when I am looking for something sweet that is not the usual go-to spots. Recently I changed up my order and ordered the "Warm Wish." It has caramelized bananas on top of a warm cream and stuffed with more caramelized bananas inside. The worst crepes I've had at any crepe eatery. We came on a Sunday at 7pm. They close at 9pm. The place was empty inside. The crepes were cold and chewy, tasted like they were made the day before. They used frozen berries instead of fresh berries. The berries were mushy. Also, whipped cream is the one you get from a can. And the chocolate sauce that was drizzled on the crepes was Hershey's syrup, not real chocolate sauce like they had stated. For the price you pay for these crepes, you should be getting fresh and actual quality ingredients. Instead, you get frozen mushy berries, canned whipped cream, and Hershey's syrup - you're better off making the crepes yourself. I have no idea how this place still exists. This establishment has no pride in the food they serve their patrons. Service was also lackluster. They made mistakes on the orders and didn't even bring out enough utensils. I had to ask for extra. I'm assuming this place was better before and probably has gone downhill over the years. The ambience was actually quite cute and charming. This picturesque Parisian bistro off of Birch Street serves up both sweet and savory crepes, soups, and more. It makes a cute spot for brunch and lunch. We visited for a lunch date after running errands nearby and enjoyed French onion soup and shared a veggie spinach crepe with a Warm Wish crepe for dessert. Everything was delicious and the portions are good -- filling without being overly stuffed. The sunny patio was lovely and the red geraniums and awning are nice against the black and white tile and decor. The Curry Crepe was a fusion masterpiece, marrying the delicate French crepe with the robust flavors of curry. The filling, a blend of savory ingredients, showcased the menu's creativity. While enjoyable, a bit more balance in the curry's intensity would have allowed the other ingredients to shine through, but I think that is because I'm usually more aligned to more spicy and thick (japanese?) curries. We came in a quiet week day so there wasn't much noise but some customers in the booths and corner, the staff was up in the counter taking orders and delivering to our tables when it's ready. The parking area is very busy and we had to opt to park a bit further away on a structure behind the movie theater so there was quite a walk but there's also plenty to do down this alley and Crepes de Paris is definitely one of the highlights! read more

I've always loved coming to this place and never had an issue before -- the staff is usually friendly and the food is great. But this time, my parents went on their own, and unfortunately, they were treated very poorly. Their English isn't very strong, and after they ordered, they left a tip. Apparently, the guy working there didn't like the tip amount and gave them attitude and was rude to them. That's completely unacceptable. Tips are optional and based on the quality of service -- not something customers should feel pressured or judged about. I'm really disappointed by how my parents were treated, and I hope the management addresses this behavior because no customer deserves to be disrespected. read more
