I will say, the place is very clean and the atmosphere is nice. I have even seen people working there. The employees are nice behind the counter. The pastries look very pretty but to me it's missing something, the tarts is too thick and the cream is too soft like whipping cream. Came in and got a pastry that obviously has been sitting out for a while. I go to purchase said pastry and asked "could it get warmed up" to where the nice cashier (female) went and asked her manager (old man) to which he replied "no it will explode"....how incompetent do you have to be to leave a pastry in for so long to where it could explode...common sense says just nuke it for about 5-10 seconds and wallah! Warm pastry. I went in around 8:30pm and was unsure whether or not this abrupt response was due to him wanting to close soon but I found it very annoying. I've worked fast food (donut shop) and customers have asked can I warm up a dozen of French crullers to which I said sure. You make it happen for the customer! This location is very small & has a limited selection of pastries. Their customer service is excellent! The employee that ringed us up was super sweet, very helpful! I got the Pain au chocolat with a small 12oz Decaf coffee. The coffee was a bit on the acidic side but accompanied by the pastry it was balanced out. We visited this location around 7:30pm-8:30pm; so the selection was already picked out & the batch of coffee was not that fresh. All in all, it is a cute compact location but maybe come in earlier to get fresher quality items. read more

Today I went & had the BEST SERVICE! He was so knowledgeable & kind when I had so many questions! It was my first time buying a dessert here & it was a Perfect Choice! A lemon cronut. I think that's what it was called. So fluffy & delicious! And of course I had to grab my favorite Pesto Sandwich & I even tried the Chicken Ceaser Sandwich. My go to (when it's not sold out!) is the Coffee Cronut... it's like OMG in my mouth! My favorite morning pastries, I love this place, I always feel welcomed. It's clean close by and they always have the best selections to choose from. If i could leave zero stars I would! This place is extremely poor ran with poor management, rude employees, and it isn't cleanly inside. I witnessed somebody try and have their drink remade and the owner drank out of it after the customer already had, violating so many health code violations from taking a tampered with drink back to drinking out of somebody else's cup. They're not very nice & the food isn't fresh. I would recommend going to any other establishment. This place isn't worth anybody's time. read more

Literally every time I've gone in here there's one person working the register and lots of people waiting in line while the owner wanders around not helping anyone. . I go in today to get a few treats and I see they have a sign for a free pastry if you download the app. The counter person was super helpful and helped me do it but I guess the app is supposed to add the coupon and it didn't work. The manger was called over and she was like, sorry, I'll contact corporate that the app is not working properly. I came here because the patio on yelp looked nice to study and and the pastries looked good + I could use their WiFi to do my work. I bought a drink to obviously use the WiFi and they told me to use "spectrumfreetrial" when they clearly had their own "PBB" that would pop up as an option. Glad to have a Paris Baguette in Brea. Having to choose between Rowland Heights or Buena Park makes you really think twice before offering to pick up a cake before you go to a party. I appreciate the consistency of the PB franchise- the cakes are cute and the breads are decent. Also, this location has a nice outdoor seating area which is nice to enjoy on fair weather days. Hopefully, you have the luck of not running into the owners if you visit this location. They will look at you and not smile or even say hi. The best thing about Paris Baguette opening up in Brea? I don't have to go out of my way to Buena Park just to get some pastries. The space is fairly small but they're always fully stocked and very clean. Staff are very friendly as well. Prices have gone up due to inflation but they're still fair for the quality you'll get here.
