Amazing pastries. I got a sampling of the small baklava-style pastries and they were truly exceptional. One was a small long cigar shape with walnuts and it was my favorite. I also tried the bouza. It took me a bit to place the dominant flavor - it's pine! I really enjoyed it.

My experience was not the best. I walked in and waited patiently in line to take my order. The ambiance was very nice and pleasant. Unfortunately, it took nearly almost 15 minutes due to a huge family coming in to order. Two members actually cut in front of me. When I did get my turn, I ordered the famous mango pastry and pistachio. HOWEVER, when I look closer at my mango, there was a dead bug on it. Luckily the pistachio was fine. It might have just been a horrible day for me standing in the hot sunlight for nearly 15 minutes, getting cut and the person letting them, and just somehow getting a bug on my pastry.

The selection of cakes here are beautiful. We tried the pistachio nest baklava (which was recommended by the woman working there) and it was probably my favorite of everything we tried. Second favorite would be the regular pistachio baklava if you pair it with a beverage because of it's honey sweetness. The mango mousse is nothing like anything I've tried before. The external layer is a light crisp chocolate with the insides filled with mango fruit encased in a mango-flavored mousse cream. My least favorite was the black forest cake which was good but had a rubbery texture as if it was old. I was also not fond of the lemon gelato sample I tried because the zest of rind was noticeably tart as if it wasn't ripe and the gelato was a light green and not yellow. I really believe your experience at this Syrian bakery is based on what you select, so definitely give several items a try to know what you like and what you don't.

Dubai Chocolate (Small $18)

I always pass by this place and decided to try the Dubai chocolate. This was my first time ever entering a middle eastern bakery and all the baked goods in the display looked so good! The small dubai chocolate came out to $18. Was my first time trying it. It was good however I wished the strawberries were cold, would've made it more refreshing. I will say that there wasn't a menu for prices to be displayed though. Overall I would come back to try the other pastries!

Wow....Quality is high here and as a middle eastern, i can tell the taste is like back home...I ordered their dubai chocolate strawberry because i saw the image in yelp and it was wow...So delicious!!!! My friend ordered 3scoops and all three tastes were so delicious!!!!!! I also bought 4pieces of pastries and they were so yummy...I just tried little piece of them and the rest is for the other days...Everything here makes me to try everything...I love pastries and calories dont count!!!!!! I'll be honest i can eat too much sugar bit in this place, i didnt have feeling i ate too much!!!!Its not too sweet! Service was great...A welcoming, young man helped us and also we joined to their free membership and we got %10 off...The ambiance in inside was so chill...We didnt eat inside but its a great place to sit and enjoy your sweet... There is also parking outside so no worries for parking spots... definitely i suggest this place...

I always pass by this and finally came to try it a few days ago, very clean and organized with their desserts. The girl working the front was very nice. At the time I came I'm not sure if they have a menu but I wasn't expecting the prices after I paid I was a little shocked but the large Dubai strawberry cup was about $23-25 I believe the smaller one is $18? It does come with a lot but I feel other places it's cheaper. They sell a variety of dessert though that I still want to try.

This is a small family owned pastry shop in a tiny strip mall. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, Dubai chocolate, coffee and much more. It is small, so seating is limited. We got an opera cake, a pistachio slice and a small coffee to have right there, along with some other items to take home. All the pastry slices were good, we enjoyed them. Same goes for the Dubai chocolate cup, but it is expensive with 18 bucks for the small one. I took stars off, because we were charged for incorrect items and also overcharged for two items that we didn't buy. Coffee was correct Dubai chocolate cup was correct But ... as seen in our photos, we got a slice of opera cake, pistachio cake to eat there and a slice of mango, 2 strawberry and a coconut cake to go. That's 6 pastries, on the receipt we were charged for a total of 8! Three were listed individually and one item reads "individual cake x 5" Furthermore, we were charged for some that we didn't buy. We did not get a cheesecake, Bombay slice or fruit tart. No idea if those cost the same of what we truly got?! And considering that it's somewhat pricey to begin with, it matters when you are overcharged on top of that. Check your receipt.

Dubai chocolate brownie, yes please. The people that work here are nice people! I've been here twice and love the brownie, and almond cookies. So many sweet baked goods.

Dubai chocolate strawberries (large)

My friend and I came here to try the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. We shared a large and it was pretty good! The chocolate was creamy, not too sweet. I love the crunch in it too. It is a bit overpriced though, for the large I believe it was 22-23$. The bakery had a lot of yummy looking cakes, cookies, other desserts but we didn't get a chance to try them yet. There are a few small tables inside.

Tried the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries here for the first time! I thought it was ok, but it was definitely overpriced. I got the small size and it was $17.99. The large was $22.99. The strawberries were yummy, but it wasn't worth the price in my opinion. As for the service, I think getting the strawberries quickly just depends on when you go. I arrived when someone else was already waiting for their order, so it was fast when I got it. The parking lot is also small, but I think that shouldn't be a problem! They had a lot of other pastries that look good though. I would've tried something else too but $17.99 was already enough lol, so maybe next time!

Desserts are AMAZING! I've gone to several different places to try the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and hands down this is the best spot. It's a family owned business and you feel like family with their kind service. It's a quiet place to enjoy your desserts in peace.

The Baklava was good but very expensive. The Knafeh was not fresh and had very little flavor, I would not order that.

Ask the Community - Le Mirage Pastry

Is the bouza (ice cream) dairy free?

No, it contains milk. Here's a YouTube link with the info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7z-u6zCO7Q

Where do they source their pistachios from?

I'd love to try their ice cream but I'm allergic to pistachios...do they have other flavors?

I think this is the only ice cream they have. Give them a call to make sure.

How much is the ice cream?

$20 lb

The dulce de leche cake was so well soaked, and the chocolate shell was a nice texture contrast. However, the cake was a little too sweet. We also tried the mini chocolate pancakes with strawberries and bananas. This was a classic, and the fruit helped cut the sweetness of the pancakes. Service: The service was really nice, and they explained the various components of dishes which was helpful before ordering. Ambiance: This place is so well-lit and cute! However, the surrounding area is slightly unsafe with some smoke and alcohol shops around. Just a heads up, however everyone does their own thing! The shop's bathroom's handle was loose, and we were a little confused on if someone was using it or not, so we used the bathroom at the nearby Dollar Tree. If you are a chocolate or dubai chocolate lover, definitely give this place a try! You can order a few items and share with friends, as they are generous with their quantity!

The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.
