Dubai Chocolate Crepe with Vanilla bean ice cream Scoop

New cute, trendy dessert spot in the Anaheim area! Say no more and I headed out to try it. It definitely did not disappoint. The Dubai Chocolate crepes and the Strawberry Banana mini pancakes with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream was a great choice. Looking forward to coming back to try the drinks.

The place was packed with youngsters hanging out late into the night. We visited specifically to try the Dubai Chocolate series and ordered at the counter. I chose the Dubai Chocolate Waffle, which cost $17 plus tax. When the order arrived (as shown in the photo), I was a bit disappointed. It was essentially a plain waffle topped with a generous amount of melted chocolate, pistachios, and some crispy bits. Considering the price--and when compared to other Mediterranean dessert spots in the area--it felt overpriced for what was offered. Despite the comment on the menu's price, I particularly love the decoration on the wall which showcase the map of every Arabic countries, it is mesmerizing to me.

I still dream of this Dubai crepe *mouth watering*! Located in a sketchy area and the name is a lil weird but this is a solid sweet spot!! The menu offers an variety of delicious options, everything looked delicious!

first time trying the chocolate spot and everything is so decadent, rich, and yummy !! this place definitely satisfies the cravings for a sweet treat and is also open super late. inside is nice and modern with plenty of seating, and their menu is also displayed super big and right at the front !! though, customer service is almost nonexistent or at least when i went. soo ordering through the qr code is fastest. as for the items, we got the dubai chocolate mini pancakes and added strawberries as well as the ferrero shake. the mini pancakes were the best and they are super generous with their toppings. i definitely recommend adding the strawberries since it gave a refreshing taste. the ferrero milkshake on the other hand was super thicc. however, i wish the chocolate could be mixed in more. overall, this is a solid place and i can see why it gets packed easily. for me, i would come once in awhile because it can get pricy, but that is because their portions are pretty big !! i wish they would offer half portions.

Stopped in after pizza at the Packing House when everything else was closed and this place saved the night. Open Mon-Sat 2pm-2am and Sun 2pm-12am, which is clutch for late sweet cravings. They're known for crepes, waffles, and the Dubai chocolate menu, with a solid variety overall. We ordered a cookies & cream scoop and the Dubai Ice Cream Deluxe (3 scoops) rich, indulgent, and worth every bite. The ambience is bright, clean, and high-energy. There's a good amount of seating, it's always buzzing, and despite how busy it gets, orders come out fast. Tons of to-go orders, but everything runs smoothly. Staff stays friendly and efficient under pressure. Parking up front fills fast, but there's additional parking in the back. Perfect spot for a late-night dessert fix.

Dubai chocolate waffle, leche cake, lotus crepe, Twix Pancake

While the desserts were delicious, they were tooo sweet. I gave the Dubai chocolate waffle a 4.5/10 because it was drenched in chocolate. The lotus was delicious for the first couple bites but they could've gone slightly less on the biscoff. Desserts are shareable because of how sweet they are Ambiance is lovely - Arabic music in the background and adequate seating with a clean interior design

A literal chocolate lover's dream! This place has so many dessert options from crepes, waffles, cheesecake, ice cream, and more. 'Dubai Chocolate Crepe': warm crepe with chocolate, pistachio spread, pistachios, and kunafa filo! I really liked the different textures and it was a good size to share. Such a good late night hangout spot, love that they open late till 2am! I'll definitely be back to try their other desserts.

This chocolate spot is pretty good overall and has some really nice options. When it's good, it's really good and definitely hits the craving. But sometimes the taste can be a little meh depending on what you get, and it's also a bit pricey for what you get. It can feel a little hit or miss, but still a decent spot if you're in the mood for something sweet.

One of my fav places for dessert. I've come back way too many times in the past few months. First of all, the chocolate they use is high quality and is continuously running on a chocolate fountain so it tastes very smooth. They have some really unique flavors. I've tried a few different crepes, a latte, and ice cream. Everything's been pretty good. Service is always good but when ordering online for take out, it did take a little bit to be ready. There's a couple tables but when they get busy, it can be hard to get seating. I love that they're open late, but parking can be difficult. Tried to park at the lot next door when theirs was full one time, but security was outside telling us we couldn't park there (all the stores there were closed at that hour).

Their churros are the absolute worst I've ever had in my life. Absolutely horrid, they shouldn't even be called churros. It was definitely just thrown in the microwave as parts of it were piping hot and others just luke warm. I'd never visit this spot again for dessert.

Amazing little dessert cafe! My children are currently obsessed with anything Dubai chocolate related, and this place certainly does not disappoint! The service is quick, the design on the Dubai Chocolate Crepe that we ordered was really aesthetic. It had just the right balance of sweetness, crunch as well as a very large portion! Parking in the center could be better, especially when you get there later on a Saturday night, it's difficult to easily find a spot. Otherwise, definitely a place to return to!

The store front is easy to find as they have a large visible sign showing "CHURROS" near the street. The items can get pricey, as I recently picked up just an ice cream with churros and bag of churros which ended up at $20. There's a $1 charge on credit cards which also seems a bit like charging the customer on any business transaction. The location is a decent size so it could definitely fit groups and such. Unfortunately my visit did not really go well, as after ordering and receiving a buzzer to let us know when the order is complete, we waited for over 10 minutes to have other customers place orders after us and receive their orders before our buzzer went off. Eventually, one of the associates noticed we had been waiting for a while and came to us to ask if we had placed an order already. For some reason, the buzzer was not programmed to our order, and I ended up asking the cashier for my receipt to confirm that my order was placed. This was frustrating as we had originally entered the store as the only guests and 3 other parties had entered the store after us and received their orders before us. Fortunately, the associates closest to us near the pick up order section noticed that we had been waiting for an extended period of time and came out to ask what we had ordered to help us make our missing order. I have no idea how our order was missed but it was not a great experience to wait in a store with no AC (only the front doors propped open for ventilation) and there was no real apology for the mishap. However, we're very appreciative of some of the staff members noticing that we had been patiently waiting for our order.

I was worried the pandan flavor was going to be mid and subtle, but each bite had a great pandan flavor. I had a bit of a drive back to my hotel, so I was advised to order mine frozen. I'm glad I took the staff member's advice because by the time I got to my hotel and finished dinner, it had thawed out perfectly. It was still cold-ish, room temp in the best way possible. SERVICE: 9/10 Great customer service! Upon arrival, the staff member who helped me was very nice. I was indecisive about what to order, so I really appreciated that she gave me a rundown and some suggestions on their most popular dishes. Most importantly, I appreciated her concern about my dessert melting by the time I got back to my hotel. If it wasn't for her and her advice to order the dessert frozen, I wouldn't have known and probably would've ended up with a deconstructed dessert. The way she packaged my dessert was also very helpful and considerate. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Definitely a cute place, and I can see this being a great go-to spot for groups. I have been to other Salt and Straw locations, including the locations in Newport Beach, New York City (Upper West Side), Downtown LA, and San Diego (Little Italy), but the visit I had yesterday at the Anaheim was unparalleled. We entered in at about 5:45 pm. Usually the line at this establishment is lengthy, but we fortunately only had to wait a few minutes before being helped. While in line, I noticed that the store was impeccably clean, and everyone working behind the counter were very pleasant greeting every customer that entered while they were busy assisting the other eager customers. Jacob (the name of the gentleman who helped my fiancé and I select our ice cream flavors) was incredibly patient as we tried about 8 different flavors and went above in beyond in providing us with additional flavors to sample and providing us with his ice cream flavor pairing recommendations. Normally we stick to the more traditional ice cream flavors, but wanted to try something new this visit. We were blown away by the many odd but curiously delicious flavors that were being offered. After tasting the wildly unique flavors (including Gruyere Cheese and Tomato, Arbequine Olive Oil, Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise, and Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie), Jacob suggested that we pair the Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise and Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie together. We loved this suggestion, and gladly obliged. Jacob even went out of his way to explain what a Chess Pie was (I had no idea what it was, but now I'm going to scope out a place to try it!), and even asked if we had a preference of which ice cream flavor scoop was stacked on top of the other scoop. What began as a spur of the moment decision to get ice cream on a hot day, turned out to be such a fun tasting experience (all thanks to Jacob!) that left us excited to return and order our next unique ice cream pairing.
