I just had to come here for a drink and it gets the job done, but it's pretty average for a boba shop. There was barely a line when I went in so the drink didn't take long to come out either. I ordered the Sunset Strawberry Lemonade ($5.95) with boba ($0.75). It's definitely more of a gimmick with their cotton candy cloud topping, pretty colors and layering, and light bulb shaped bottles. The flavors are just syrups and they have very limited milk-free drinks. The strawberry lemonade that I got was good, it tastes like it's supposed to. A few boba pieces were harder on the inside, so the batches don't seem to be consistent. Basically this seems more of a place to get a sugar rush with sweet drinks, so it's popular with kids. I've been to Snow Monster before and really loved it, so when I saw the Mini Monster location, I was excited to stop in and grab one of their drinks. My friend and I were the only customers there, standing right at the counter, but neither of the employees acknowledged us. Most people don't mind waiting if someone simply makes eye contact and says, "We'll be right with you." Instead, we stood about three feet away for nearly seven minutes without so much as a glance or greeting. We still wanted our drinks, so we decided to wait it out. While waiting, we watched one of the employees rinse several blender cups with water only--no soap--while placing her fingers inside each one. She hadn't washed her hands beforehand. Seeing her put her dirty hands inside the cups, before they were put back on the shelf to be used again, was the last straw. I'm not a germaphobe by any means, but that crossed a line for me. Mini Monster Cafe is located in the Anaheim Packing District. Parking may be hit or miss, as there is a small parking lot outside, but it fills up rather quickly. No long line on this visit - only 2 people in front of me, but only 1 employee working. The employee was not that friendly or pleasant - a bit impatient and you could tell she did not want to be there at all. I just got my usual, their jasmine milk tea with boba. I already have a couple of their mason jars, so I opted for their lightbulb bottle this time. My drink did come out in a timely manner, but the taste of my milk tea was not the best. My milk tea tasted more bitter than sweet and it was just not good, so I could not finish it at all. read more

Mini Minster Cafe is located in the upper floor of the Anaheim Packing District. Parking in the lot can be challenging but street parking is easily available. I ordered the mango sticky rice smoothie. It was not too sweet and does have real sticky rice. The staff was indifferent and she didn't look like she was happy being there. One of my favorite stops when I am in the area. This is definitely the best boba I have had which there was a closer one in San Diego. I love how there's reusable cups and will be coming back with them. Came on Sunday afternoon which is a busy day. The drinks we got are so aesthetics and I love the taste of them. The matcha has the earthy taste that I love and it has slightly sweetness.I was just slight disappointed that the one I been craving the taro coconut blend sold out. I was pretty disappointed especially with how delicious these drinks looked on the menu. The coconut water matcha was the best because it wasn't milk based so it didn't have a milky overpowering. As for the other too the matcha seems low quality and the pandan flavor wasn't very noticeable felt like i was drinking milk. They lacked ice so it was almost warm. Server was quick to make them but i didn't see any whisking , matcha was premixed, and i did like the ambiance which made me choose here and i definitely will not again . Came down to SoCal to visit a friend. I was a bit tired before a concert so needed a pick-me-up. Saw cafe sua da and forgot I've been to another SnowmonsterOC. This one was pretty good. Friendly workers and very lovely decor! They have plushies, stickers, and shoe charms if you're interested. I'm a bit past the IG-worthy stores but still am down for nice views. The drink was good. For $7.25 Pros: - fast service , don't have to wait more than a few minutes for them to have your order ready - really good jasmine milk tea - not too bitter but not overly sweet either. - really chewy boba in my batch! - close to counter sitting space in the food hall if you want to chill for a bit - medium size (or large? Basically the largest size you can get without ordering a souvenir cup) is only 30 cents more than the smaller size, so you might as well. That's how they get ya. Cons: - no visible menu really until you get right up to the cashier to order (it's like embedded on the counter) , so if there's a really long time it might be helpful to look up the menu online so you're ready by the time you get to the front - boba texture inconsistency: the ones in my drink happened to be EXCELLENT, but my friend who ordered her drink maybe 30 mins prior did not have chewy boba and tasted like it was bottom of the barrel Overall, solid boba and milk tea taste, but boo for inconsistency.
