I got a plain milk tea here with boba, and the drink itself was okay--nothing was wrong with it, but it also wasn't anything to write home about. My main complaint about the drink would be that they charge more if you don't want ice (I don't like my drinks diluted or overly cold). The boba was a little overdone (too soft) to my taste, but I like that QQ chewiness, so it might suit your taste if you prefer softer boba. The guy at the counter was awkwardly impatient with me and I was the only other soul in the joint that I could see, so I admittedly rushed to pick my drink and maybe would have enjoyed something other than the basic milk tea more. Place is definitely a to go place, as there's just a little bit of seating. If you're in the area looking for boba, this is okay, but otherwise nothing to go out of your way for. This place is very cute - lots of light and seating despite being small. Great drinks & waffle options. I got the oreo waffle with strawberries and condensed milk. You can also get ice cream on it! This was our first time visiting the Anaheim Garden Walk (was here for the Taste of Japan) so we're not too sure how busy they really are. They have a nice parking structure and the whole area is really pretty just to walk about. The line was out the door when we went and it was INSANELY hot. It was so hot and so miserable but this was literally the only boba spot here (that had good ratings at least). I waited in line to give it a try, the door was wide open so it wasn't any cooler inside. Finally ordered my Thai tea boba and asked for a cup of iced water, they give the tiniest cup for free but if you're looking for a regular size, it's $2 so I ended up just passing. Frank came out shortly after and it was pretty good! I feel like the Thai tea was a little on the sweeter side but the boba was nice and chewy. We came to Anaheim Garden Walk and I was really craving some boba. Saw Chaplus and decided to give them a shot. I ordered Strawberry Milk Tea with Oolong Tea base - light ice, half sweet. What I received was a beautiful but not tasty beverage- with no ice. They use strawberry purée which I thought would have made the drink taste really good, but my boba was bland and not sweet at all. The boba texture was also sub par at best. We ended up walking around for a bit and after a couple of hours, I resorted in throwing my drink away because I disliked it so much. I was super sad about that - I have never tossed boba away ever. About their service, I was kind of half greeted upon entering and the girl taking my order didn't seem to really care. I hate leaving bad reviews for places, but giving 2 stars only because I feel that this shop still has a lot of potential to grow and become better. Brown sugar milk tea w/boba - I initially liked the boba texture, but it seems to harden easily. Flavor is good but unfortunately I didn't taste the tea as well. If I could go back, I'd get this with lower sugar. 4/5, still a good drink but not mind blowing Jasmine milk tea w/boba, 50% sweet - this didn't taste like much. Tea flavor completely lost when the sugar was cut out. Just disappointed in this, especially for it being $8+ incl tip. While drinks were solid, I would not go out of my way.
