Me and my church group headed to downtown disney and decided to try out Kayla's Cake dessert and let me tell you, i HIGHLY recommend. The staff are extremely diligent despite the busyness, the stand is clean, and the food is SOOO bomb. We tried the macaroons + ice cream macaroons and it was the best sweet treat after a long day. I highly recommend that you guys try it out and go if you're ever in the area!

Kayla's Cake is a cute stand at Downtown Disney that actually has a plethora of macarons so the name be a bit misleading. However, whatever the name, they look like a beautiful rainbow on display grabbing your attention while at Disneyland, right by the World of Disney store. Everything is made from scratch here and everything tastes just delicious. Macarons can be bought singularly or come in boxes of 6 or 12 with more classic flavors like earl grey and pistachio but then they have SO many fun & cool flavors. The Smores is weird and tasty in all the best ways, loved the indulgence of it. Also loved the Oreo! I read up a bit and these are made by an amazing team of friends & family so you are truly supporting local when buying from this stand! Feel good about this purchase, tourists! Lol! Kayla's Cake validates with a $20 purchase and I highly recommend them!

Decided to get a snowman macaroon while wandering in downtown Disney. It was the perfect flavor of vanilla and peppermint, and almost too cute to eat! The macaroon was SO yummy but the line moved incredibly slow. I'll probably swing by the stand again before heading out of town, but only if there isn't a long line ahead of time.

I have tried multiple Dubai chocolate chewies from different places but the one from Kayla's cakes is by far the best. The outer layer is soft and melts right when I bite into it. Not only are the Dubai chocolate chewies good but the macaroons and ice cream sandwiches are too. Everything from Kayla's cakes is a hit and i definitely recommend trying.

Come try the new item with me. Creme brulee is so good! Besides this new item, their macarons are always yummy.

The *adorable* box they put the macarons in when you buy 6! It's soooo cute!!!!

Amazing service! Delicious cookies! Such a pretty display! And the little box they put the cookies in is soooo cute! This is our definite go to every time we're on our way out of Disneyland before we mount the tram to go home.

The best French macarons ever and I'm not even a huge fan of them because they're usually on the dry and brittle side but Kayla's was texturally soft and had more cream. The vendor's cart was across from the Disney Store when I went last night. I came back a second time to buy some for home. Creme Brûlée 5/5 Earl grey 5/5 Fruity pebble 3/5 Oreo Cheesecake 4/5 Strawberry shortcake 3.8/5

The store is located in downtown Disney. It's a kiosk. I tried a Oreo and Unicorn macaron. The oreo flavor was on point! And the unicorn one was adorable! The cookie was the perfect macaron consistency -- crispy exterior and once bitten in you get a nice, chewy texture. They were great! Staff was also super friendly.

We were so happy to see egg tarts at the Disney Lunar New Year celebration... but incredibly disappointed to be handed cold egg tarts. The matcha tart had good flavor but because the pastry was cold, it was difficult to eat. Definitely a waste of money.

These egg tarts are super flaky and flavorful. We got the Yuzu egg tart, and I loved her light and creamy it was. I do wish that the yuzu flavor had come out to be more pronounced. I think what would've helped is if they had uses zest or a jam right in the middle. or another possibility would be to bring out some of more of the acidity with a lemon This is definitely a fun little treat to get especially around lunar new year in the Disneyland park Pro tip they don't accept Apple Pay so use a card or cash I also recognize that while it might be in Disneyland, the cost of the egg tart was definitely on the higher end Price: $$ Overall: 9/10 Must get: matcha or yuzu, sometimes seasonal flavors

I wish I could remember what flavors these were. Most of them I got just because they look cute like the unicorn and ice cream cone. They were all so delicious. Definitely my favorite place to get macaroons from now. Kayla was so nice and very talented. Overall

$32 for a dozen regular flavored is expensive for macacons, but luckily if you have YELP and check-in you get a FREE Macaron with any purchase. If I had known that, I would have just paid for a regular one that $2.75 and redeemed my free macaron for their $3.60 special one. Instead I spent $41.20 on 12 Macarons and only saved $2, which is way better than saving 50¢ on buyin only 6. They had their special seasonal box, but it was $34.99 and it wasn't worth trying those when I really came for these 4 flavors: Unicorn, Cookie Monster, S'mores & Creme Brûlée. Unicorn: It's super cute, but don't let this cute design fool you by paying $3.50 because all it is, is a cute design and lacks any special filling flavor. It tastes like a butter cream filling and a regular macaroon cookie. Cute as hell, great texture (as in it wasn't soggy and held its crispy outside but chewy inside) but not worth the $3.50 if I'm getting a plain flavored macaron with no special filling, and it being a unicorn. Cookie Monster: They had a mini cookie cereal in the filling to stick out. That lil cookie cereal was stale, but for the most part, the macaron still tasted crispy on the outside & chewy in the inside. Though, not much filling which I wanted to taste more of that. It was more macaron that I tasted and not a even or overall blend of the filling & cookie part combined. I honestly couldn't tell it was at all a cookies & cream flavor tbh pretty much tasted like any ordinary macaron filling but with better texture. I wish it had a better distinct flavor to justify for the $3.50 I spent on this besides thinking I paid more just for the way it looks. Créme Brûlée: This is what I'm talking about now with a good filing!!! This here YELPERS is what I think is width $3.50!!! It has a nice hard sugar flamed on top of the macaron, giving it that real créme brûlée like shell, and the caramel & créme brûlée filling was delicious. You can definitely taste the distinct difference in this cookie from the others (that only looked cute but had only a buttercream filling). This I would get again. Pricey but it for sure stands out. S'mores: I wasn't sure if they would exceed my expectations because a lot of times, things that claim to be S'mores isn't at all like eating the real thing. Though I got of say, I really did like this one. It didn't have a frosting filling but instead the filling was a marshmallow between two macaron and one of the macaron cookie was blue. Not sure if that's what all of them looked like, but I enjoyed this a lot. It reminded me of eating like chocolate rice krispy worlds finest bar, or like a crunch chocolate bar. This was the most expensive one out of the 5 I got, at $3.60 a pop but it was pretty good.

Ask the Community - Kayla's Cake

Is the place still in downtown Disney? Do they still have the ice cream macaroons?

They are un DTD still. They still keep all the macaroons refrigerated. Not sure if that's what you mean. I asked but no ice cream ones. They all taste really good though. Hope this helps

What's a better buy? The box of 6 or 10?

You will save $1.50 for the box of 6 and $2.50 for the box of 10

If I were to buy about 6 or more, would they give a to go box?

Yes they have boxes for set of 6 and 10

The variety of food options will satisfy anyone's craving. We reached there around 1:30pm, and it was pretty busy. We were able to snag one of the last stalls available in the parking lot, they do have a valet option too, or street parking. After doing the grand tour of the food court, we opted for Zabon, because let's be real, ramen is always the answer when not knowing what exactly to eat. The food court itself is so open and inviting, you're greeted with a grilled cheese bar as you walk in, and a wine bar in the middle. It is two stories, so don't forget to check out downstairs before making your decision on where you'll be grabbing food from.

While visiting the Packing House, I attempted to use the ground-floor men's restroom. The restroom doorway has a raised threshold that made independent wheelchair access extremely difficult. While attempting to exit the restroom, my wheelchair became stuck. It ultimately required the assistance of four able-bodied individuals to help me get out. During this process, the raised threshold bent my wheelchair wheel, rendering it unsafe and unusable. Because I rely on my wheelchair for daily mobility, I was forced to purchase an emergency replacement immediately, at significant personal expense. I cannot wait weeks for repairs or a cheaper alternative -- I need a functioning wheelchair now. The experience was physically painful, emotionally distressing, and deeply embarrassing. I am also scheduled for major surgery on March 3, which makes reliable wheelchair access medically critical. Today, I am experiencing increased pain as a result of the physical strain from this incident. Based on my experience, the restroom access does not appear ADA compliant, and the Anaheim Packing House as a whole is not wheelchair-friendly. This is a serious safety concern, not a minor inconvenience. No one should risk injury or financial loss simply to use a restroom. I hope management takes this review seriously and addresses the accessibility issues so that other patrons with mobility disabilities do not have to go through what I experienced.
