Every time I think I can't like her desserts more, I try something new. The most recent thing I've tried are the Flan and the pandan cheesecake. Both are so delicious! My daughter loves them but the macarons are still her favorite. The cheesecake is a Japanese fluffy style, which I prefer as it's not so heavy. I could eat the whole thing by myself, but I have to hold myself back. I always look forward to trying her new creations. Of course, she is extremely friendly and has impeccable customer service. This review is mainly based on customer service! I decided to buy macarons for my friend's birthday, so of course I had to Yelp where I should get them. I noticed MaiCay Sweets Macarons had a 5 star rating but was super hesitant to place an order. Since the business is home-based, I wasn't too sure how the ordering process worked. However, all my worries disappeared once I messaged the owner, Cindy, because she was super friendly and attentive to all the questions I asked her. :) I ordered an assorted box of 12 macarons a few days before my friend's birthday and was able to pick them up the day of her birthday. Cindy was super helpful when informing me how to store the macarons since I wouldn't be able to give my friend the macarons until late night. We initially scheduled to meet at 3PM but I was running late so we changed it to 4PM. Cindy even ended up meeting me at the Target I was shopping in that was near our pickup location, I was honestly so happy at how understanding and friendly she was!! (Sorry again for the last minute changes to our pick up times :( ) Cindy also added an extra pineapple macaron to my order since the box was for my friend's birthday. That was honestly such a kind gesture and I seriously appreciated it. As for taste, I haven't tasted any of them but my friend said the shells are really good but the filling was a little too sweet for her (but she's not super into sweets, so it'll probably be fine if you like sweet stuff in general). Packaging is ADORABLE. The macarons look so cute and came in matching colors so the whole order was super aesthetic.
