We had never had knafeh before, and weren't sure exactly what to expect since it's a cheesy dessert. We were VERY impressed and will come back for it again! It's a crispy, flakey dough, with a mild, somewhat salty, stringy cheese inside, covered with simple syrup and pistachios. LOVED IT. Since we were pretty full from lunch, we only ate half and took the rest home. The guy who helped us said to reheat it in the oven for a few minutes.
