It's a small little shop, but they have a great selection of pastries as well as ice cream. They also have a cute self-serve water and coffee station near the entrance, which I thought was a nice touch. I wanted to try a little bit of everything, so I picked up the banana cream pie, tres leches, a small peanut butter cookie, cinnamon bun bar, and blueberry cheesecake pie. I loved having so many keto-friendly sweets to choose from. The girl at the register was also very friendly and shared with me that they recently opened another keto bakery location in Los Angeles, which is exciting! The good Top notch ingredients = less guilty desserts Good selection of keto goods Good service The not so good Price and size No chairs or tables or coffee Overall a great place for desserts. Their ingredients are top notch, like using protein and fiber-containing almond flour; also a healthier fat like ghee instead of butter (cheap bakeries including store bought use industrialized seed oils). As a sweetener they use allulose - a natural (but pricey) sweetener that is found in fruits but tastes like regular sugar, unlike the semi bitter stevia. I'm glad they don't use erythritol - a popular sweetener which has been linked to blood clots. They also use xylitol which, when isolated, prevents tooth decay - but is dangerous to dogs. For humans, results in far less carbs than regular inexpensive bleached white flour baked goods which when added with table sugar gives a massive sugar spike. Not good for people with insulin resistance (which includes many older adults). It's a small space but it smelled great when I was in there as they were baking. It would've been great had they sold good coffee and a place to sit but that would probably raise their prices even more. Because of the expensive ingredients, don't expect a lot of their goodness for the price. The carrot cake slice was probably half of the size in another regular bakery, but it was delicious. Note that because of the crushed almond, the texture is somewhat more grainy than a white flour based carrot cake. Same with the $9 Tres Lechces cake slice. But in both cases, the taste was good and I felt better eating them because the calorie count, as well as carb load was much, much less. Actually, what I was looking for was a cinnamon roll but they had sold out. There are a lot of different types of muffins, cookies and cakes.So if you're a sweet tooth, you should give them a try. Wow first time in and I've been wanting to stop by for awhile now too, let's just say I was not disappointed! Not only was I greeted by all the amazing pastries but the owner as well. She was the sweetest ever walking me through all the different pastries. I honestly could not decide what to get. If I was going straight home I would've got much more. This place is my saving Grace. I love it here and everything that they carry, and doing keto for a little while now and when I need that sweet treat, this is the place to go most of the time. I only need one or two bites, I do wish they had an ingredients list so I could calculate my macros but even with eating this stuff and not knowing really what's in it my glucose and keto levels have stayed very even. I ordered an 8" tres leches cake for my diabetic mother and uncle's birthday and paid $74.16. I drove over 1.5 hours to pick it up. When I opened the box, the writing on the cake was visibly reworked and looked messy and uneven, which was really upsetting for a special occasion at that price point. When I reached out via email, the response was defensive and dismissive with zero apology for the experience. They explained the writing had to be redone to fit the message and fruit, which I understand, but for $74 the least I expected was a clean presentation and basic customer service. Went in to try it out and get some treats without any expectations and Keto Bakery did not disappoint. I got a lemon bar, which was refreshing and the crust was on point. The tartness was perfect. I've been in ketosis for around a month, and decided to come here today as truly keto-friendly desserts are very difficult to come by! Tried the chocolate/plain layered cheesecake because it is the most intuitively "keto-ish" dessert out there. It was just the treat that keto-ers need to support them in their journey! I'd rate it a 4.5/5. The chocolate layer tastes like snack pack pudding, but in the best way possible, balanced out by the not-too-pronounced tang of the classic layer. Perfect texture --- a densely-packed smoothness. I would only say that the crust could have been more buttery (why not take advantage of a staple keto food?) and that some may prefer a darker cocoa flavor. While other reviewers describe the bakery as reasonably priced, know that the prices are on the higher side. Think in the league of Chaupain Bakery. It's forgivable because keto-friendly ingredients (almond flour, allulose, xylitol, monk fruit extract, etc.) are significantly more expensive than your typical ingredient. It is difficult, however, to trust that the prices are truly as low as they could be because there are no other keto bakeries in town --- that's for sure! A small slice of cheesecake was $7, so not that much worse than getting a considerably larger slice from the Cheesecake Factory for considerably more money.
