Here's a positive review of my recent experience with Amazing Cake Creations. For the second time, I ordered a custom cake from them for my son's 9th birthday. It had a Sonic the Hedgehog theme that my son designed. He drew a picture on his tablet, and I forwarded the image to the cake designer, Grace. I also sent Grace pictures of Sonic the Hedgehog characters from the web that my son wanted in an edible print on fondant icing. For the flavors, he chose red velvet and a chocolate ganache filling. When the big day came, the cake was ready on time and came out beautifully. It tasted delicious, and I received great feedback from our birthday party guests. I have ordered 3 times from this place and I love the consistency and ease of ordering. They do a very good job of bringing my ideas to reality and not only does it look good it tastes and smells amazing. Everyone who looks at the cake marvels at how yummy it smells too. I can honestly say I am addicted to ordering cakes and am always looking forward to the next birthday or event that I can bring a cake too The cakes that I have ordered have ranged from $100 - $130. They say it's good for 8 people but honestly it's good for way more than that. More like 15-20 adults who have already had a couple drinks and have also eaten dinner and other party food The cakes are very good and never disappoint. I have never seen a cake more elaborate and real looking like this, I couldn't believe my eyes when they took the cake out. This place is amazing and I believe that they can really do anything. I sent them a picture I found online which was a transformer truck Optimus prime, which I thought was hard to make already and they asked me if they can make it better. I was like what?!? Okay whatever they want, I already like the picture I sent them. But sure enough when I got the cake, "MIND BLOWN". I have never experienced so many people compliment me or ask me about the cake. My kid was turning 7 so I went all out, we paid about $220 for the cake which she said will feed about 30 people. We had about 40 people in the party and we barely scratch half of the cake, it was huge. It was more than what we wanted to pay for the cake but it was worth every penny and more. They did an amazing job on my god daughter's first birthday/ 1st birthday cake. It was made for 100 people but still had cake left over. It was 3 tiers. First tier was lemon (delicious), second tier was white cake (delicious), and the third tier was marbled (AMAZING). They also included an extra small cake just for because it was her first birthday! Grace answered all of my questions in a timely manner and kept in touch with me the day of delivery to let me know when I could expect my cake to arrive. I was extremely disappointed with the cake that I purchased for my daughter's first birthday last month. Definitely not worth the $180 that I paid for a Tiffany Box; the white bow was broken, the letters were smudged together, and the taste was terrible. Not to mention, they were still working on the cake when I arrived at the scheduled pick-up time, which demonstrates that this cake was done very last minute. Sadly, I had a guest tell me that Costco cake was better and I would have saved money. This place was a trial and error since I was looking for a company to do my wedding cake. If this is the type of last minute work that is done, I am not making the mistake of purchasing another cake from them, especially on my wedding day, which is meant to be "perfect" ideally. Nonetheless, I expected highly of Amazing Cake Creations since they convinced me by bribing me that a celebratory works for them. I saw no celebrity when I arrived at their shop. I was so dissatisfied with the cake that I did not bother taking photos to brag. I hope I receive a call for a refund or I will call my bank to let them that I did not receive services as expected. read more

These cakes are amazing! We hired this company for my daughter's quincenera, we bought a 4 tiered cake with each tier being a different flavor. Grace made the cake tasting experience such a delight. All frosting flavors we tested were perfect. Not too sweet and didn't hurt my teeth. We sent Grace a picture of the cake design and they did an even better job. With the current quarantine and social distancing, we were not able to celebrate Mother's Day like we usually do. I found a Mother's Day gift box that included covered strawberries and roses. I'm shocked by this place. They made a delicious and beautiful cake on short notice. All of my communication with Grace was entirely by text messages, which was convenient because the cake was a surprise for my wife and I didn't want her to overhear the communication. I started messaging Grace on a Friday about a birthday cake theme I thought I wanted for Monday (in 3 days). She google searched cake ideas for me with quotes. On Saturday I changed my mind about my original theme, and instead wanted a Chanel theme. Sunday evening I made my final choice about the choice of cake and filling. With Grace's help, I picked a marble cake with one layer vanilla bavarian filling and another layer triple fudge filling. On Monday, I asked Grace if we could change the "Happy Birthday" message to "Happy 26th Birthday", which she accommodated. I picked up the cake Monday evening. Obviously I wouldn't advise waiting for the last minute like I did, but I wanted to mention my experience because I was impressed at how accommodating they were. The cake was a hit, my wife and family loved it. I wanted a Chanel themed birthday cake. The Chanel purse sitting on top of the cake was also mini-cake with the same fillings. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.

So she took my order and went next door to charge my card but I didn't know next door was a coffee place guess they link together. Funny thing was she didn't smile and the man who came after me she greeted him with a smile because they are of the same ethnicity. Language wasn't an issue here but to stare at customer like that I'm not coming back there ever again. Even though the cream puffs were so good very soft and not too sweet. I always go by first experience and impression. I will be looking forward other bakery's in Garden Grove.
